He's just a giant frog he doesn't have any special attacks you just control him.

u mmmm. . . crap, I think he is in the 50's somewhere. he is atleast in the episode where sand and sound attack, Jiraiya comes in on him and squashes the snake

Oh lol I thought he was completely filler. Also when I learn the academy jutsus that need to know can I leave to my village or do I need to wait a day?

Okay two queustions-
How long do I have to stay in the afterlife because there are no current taijutsu moves that I can learn?
And if I change my clan to a hyuuga, then does that mean I automatically get the byuakugan for a starting jutsu sense my uchiha sharingan is gone?

Well, I think you have to stay a day like the acadamy, but since theres nothing for you to do, I think you can leave after posting around there a while. Yes, all your previous clan only jutsu are converted to jutsu of equal value in the next clan, so Sharingan would change to Byakugan.
