Travis Celendel Travis laughed a dark and menacing laugh. "No, not any doubts of that nature. I just doubted you had any skill at all." He stood tall and twirled Jiba faster and faster. "Now I'm ready to take you seriously." Vain: Bout time. WAVE FIST! ::I thrusted my arm in his derection, luanching a volley of thin dark blades that cut through the air, and quickly sped towards Travis::

Travis lifted his eyebrow and apeared behind Vain. HE struck out at the back of his advasary's knee befor teleporting once more. HE ended up in a tree this time. He made a seal and closed his eyes. THe air around him was getting darker.

Vain (whispering to myself): Damn... I still haven't drawn enough power yet from the Red Moon to be fully effective... maybe a game of keep away can buy me enough time for the Red Moon to effect my Shadow Flare...
Vain (Now outloud): Yo! You seem fast, but lets see if you can actualy keep up with my best!
::I hid in the shadows and started to randomly apear and disapear in random places, trying to get him to chase after and use up some energy to hunt me::

Travis watched silently. He smiled and teleported. After three quick hops, he managed to grab on to Vains arm. He kicked out with the side that held on to the elemental.

Travis Celendel Travis watched silently. He smiled and teleported. After three quick hops, he managed to grab on to Vains arm. He kicked out with the side that held on to the elemental. Vain (thinking to myself): Damn, he got me too early, I'll just have to stall the old fashion way... ::I quickly countered with a hook kick to the jaw and broke loose, landing a few feet away::

Koori noticed a small opening in Vains defences as he flipped away from Travis. She unclipped a one of her blades off of her belt, and appeared behind Vain and silently struck for the base of Vains skull.

Raine looked around o see if anyone was near her. She could hear voices, but couldn't place them. She wandered around to see if she could find anything familiar.

Ryuondo Koori noticed a small opening in Vains defences as he flipped away from Travis. She unclipped a one of her blades off of her belt, and appeared behind Vain and silently struck for the base of Vains skull. ::I started to stuble and just barely cought my step before hitting the ground:: Vain: Damn, so much for a one on one... I'll have to bust out some stronger moves a tad early... ::I got back up and my hands glew a dark purple with black spirals:: Vain: DARK ENERGY CRISIS! ::Like a gatling gun, I lunached the dark energy everywhere, with no actual target. Once I finished with that I started to focus:: Vain: Chaos Barrier! ::The dark energy souronded everyone that wasnt in Catalyxes barrier into a restaint barrier, with as much power as Cats, only this barrier would slowly drain away the life of its captives, till they could figure out the secret to escaping:: Vain: That should keep you busy long enough to draw enough strength from the Red Moon to multiply my Shadow Flare 40x!

Koori's figure melted into the dark energy.
"You underestimate the ninja! We are the masters of darkness! All darkness! It obeys our will! A technique that involves darkness wont work on a ninja! I could manipulate the energy within your body and make your body mine!"
Her voice came from within the very energy that Vain expelled.

Vain: Hmp. Ninja's are always a nucince... No matter. As long as the Red Moon is risen I am free from manipulation of my element. Anyway, now to focus on that barrier, with my current level of SHadow Flare, I should be able to break it, but my barrier will portect those other fools... no matter, my main concern is Catalyxe and Cyrus.
::I focused most of my dark energy into the darkest place of my soul::
Vain: I call upon the powers of darkness, fulll thy rage, ignite thy anger, suffer, SHADOW FLARE!!!!!!!!!
::I luanched a devistating amount of dark energy at the barrier, as the Red Moon already start to slowly regenerate my energy::

Daishi looked up towards the cave's entrance as he sensed a growing darkness outside the barrier.
It's him again. Doesn't he need to take a nap or something? And to hear him talk...Should Catalyxe's barrier break, I'm going to give that pain a beating...
Daishi stood from his spot near Taki and faced the cave's opening, nonchalantly leaning against the wall between Taki and outside, waiting.

As Vain unleashed his shadow flare Koori's body reformed.
"So ninja are nothing but a nusence(sp?)?! Then let this ninja be your downfall!"
She raised her left hand to the middle of her chest with her index and middle fingers up, palm to the right. She raised her right hand to the sky, and slowly began to turn it counter clockwise.
"Gather with those of the damned ferried by Charon, cross the Acheron, to be judge Minos, wrap thy tail with nine loops of condemnment. Wrath of heaven unfold! Tokoyonokuni doki ichi!"
As she finished she had made a complete and perfect circle. Runes ran around it. From each rune a holy energy flowed of a differnt color and formed a ball of swirlling holy light energy. The ball turned into a beam and collided with the side of Vains shadow flare. Both attacks exploded in a huge rush of dark and light energy and dispersed. Koori fell to one knee, her vision blurry, breathing heavy. She soon fell over losing consciencness.

Daishi strode forward, having sensed the great collision of energy and knowing how exhausting it must've been. A strong wind gently picked up Kori's unconscious body and carried her into the cave as Daishi stood watching Vain with a sharp gaze.
"What do you want here?..."

::I fell out of the air, and landed on my knees::
Vain: A minuate or too and I'll be back to 100%., and then 6 minuetes I'll be at 155% power. The Red Moon is the ultimite source of limitless distruction. I will show Cyrus and Catalyxe that I am truely able to distroy everyone now, that I am no longer a weakling who has to rely on others!

Daishi gave him a hard look, the air about him stern and the wind sharply rustled the trees, making a few mini whirlwinds. His voice was calm, and no enemity existed in it.
"No one thought you were a weakling who had to rely on others. That was all in your mind, it was your fear of being seen as weak, and you believed that fear, making it real in your head. Though I didn't know you, I know Takara had trusted you, and never saw you as weak, and I'm sure at least some of the others thought the same. However, through leading yourself on and doing all this, you show that you're weak, for you've succumbed to your fears and allowed them to control your actions. Is this truly what you want? And afterwards, what is the point? Why does the opinions of others matter as long as you're doing what you think is right?..."
