Cy just watches as she talks to her BondBird in what he figured must be tayledras. He waits until she is done, then ventures gently into the question he'd been wanting to ask. "Flower, i honestly don't mean to sound forward with this, but do you think you'd like to spend the night at the Guild... with me?" he asked. He tried to make it sound like he didn't want anything sexual from her, just her company.

She blinks at Cyprian for a moment. Poe cackles and she tells him to hush. She thinks about it, then looks down and to the left, "I... I don't think so. I mean, I know you don't mean like *that* but... We have only just met recently, and all..."

Although this is the answer Cy had been expecting, it doesn't stop him from feeling a little let down. He sighs quietly and looks to the ground. "I suppose you're right. I just wanted to get to know you more before you left and I decided to take off after you." he smiles at her now. "I was expecting you to say no."

Darkflower had to move a bit closer to Cy while passing a cart, when suddenly Poe decides to take off from her shoulder without warning, flapping her large wings right at her. She's so shocked she just completely loses her balance (very un-tayledras-ishly) and falls onto Cyprian.
Poe lands on the roof of a nearby building and cackles.

Cy catches her reflexively and holds her until she regains her balance. He blushes lightly, and says, "fancy meeting you here, beautiful. Now I know many women would like to be in this position, but I didn't expect to find one such as yourself throwing herself into my arms like that." he smiles and winks at her, to make sure she knows he's ony teasing. "Not that I don't enjoy the feel of your body against mine."

"Poe is Evil. Unfortunately, I can't complain since he probably learnt it from me," She pulls away once she's regained her balance, and brushes off her clothes, "Sorry about that."
She glares quickly up at her Raven, then keeps on walking.

"All right." She turns them aroudn and starts leading the way back to the guild, glad for her excellent sense of direction so she doesn't have to rely on Poe at the moment.

She looks at the store fronts as they walk, kind of wondering when everything went so quiet... and blaming Poe, of course.

"I guess one could say that. It's actually probably more one night stands than boyfriends, but that's in the past. A few months ago I decided I should only stick to relationships that will last, y'know?"

"I definitely understand that one. I've nevre actually been in a lasting relationship. The whole concept is fairly new to me. Before, I'd just bed basically anything that showed interest and that I was interested in. It got old, and it left me empty. That's why I want to settle down now. I want something that will last, someone who I could grow old with."
