You're not alone. Although when I grow my hair past my shoulder, it starts to look like a mixture of Vincent's and Naraku's, and has a habbit of eating small children, so it's not allowed past mid-neck.

Mine is long and brown, but not as long as most anime characters. The bangs sweep gennerally to the left and cover an eye, when I want them too. And if I tilt my head a bit they cover both and I look demonic. I practiced!

Aheheheh....cute? My parents despise it. Last time I got it cut, they had to lock me in the car so I wouldnt jump out. And I was gonna, too! I loves my hair so much! It's almost back to how it was before they cut it, too.
And it seems having the left eye coverd is quite popular now. We could be pirates....or ninjas with eyepatches!

Seieriously, I am NOTHING like my parents. Don't look like em, don't like any of the same things, and we hate each other. Or, at least I do. That screams adopted to me. And whats sad is that would make me the happiest boy girl fangirl alive!
