About five hours later, he awoke and saw Kasumi next to him. The headache was gone, but now his memories of the past two days came back to him. He sat upright in bed, and simply looked blankly out.

*Kas was still asleep, having not fully recovered from the past few days with doing "Battle" with Zelos. She didn't want to raise a spoiled child, so giving him anything he wanted seemed out of the question. Then again, she wasn't too harsh on him. She woke up for about a half second to tell herself to get Zelos's plushie out of the washer, then went back to sleep*

Aes's thoughts ran in a completly different dirction. He was making plans for Kasumi and Zelos, what would happen should anything happen to him. They were not rich, but there were some that could (and would) take care of them. But these thoughts were only making him feel more wretched.

*Kas would snuggle up next to Aes, still asleep and unaware of his wandering mind. She was still sleeping soundly and would've awoken had Zelos been crying, so everything in her mind seemed to be all right

Kasumi seemed so tired. He should have given her more notice that he was going, but it had been to sudden. He also felt the urge to talk to her, but wouldn't dare wake her up. Instead he laid down and faced away from her.

*Kasumi did eventually wake up, giving a tired yawn and rubbing her eyes. She saw Aes next to her and gave him a kiss on the cheek, saying* "Hey... are you awake?"

Unfortunatly"Yes." he turned to face her, his eyes a little less bloodshot than before " "I am so sorry I left" he tried, not knowing if she was mad, worried, or had not noticed.

"I will make it up to you" he nodded. A sigh. "Hirohito Makamoria's funeral." he bit his lip, then stopped and continued "My father."

*Kas let out a gasp, but it was a soft one, sinc she didn't want to startle the baby* "Oh...I'm so sorry!" *She said as she gave him a hug and said "Don't worry about making it up... I just had to work a little harder yesterday" sweatdrop

"I will make it up, he is my responsibility as well. And my son" he ran his hands through his hair "It wouldn't stop...five wives, eighteen children." he had had to arrange their living situations after all this.

) "Aww.." *Kas said as she gave Aes a kiss on the lips and then said* "Well, as soon as Zelos wakes up you can feed him breakfast and get him changed. Fae told me she was planning on stopping by, so we need to make the place look nice." *she would yawn and ask* "Um...do you mind if I sleep for another half hour? I'm really tired.."
(speaking of which, I'm going to head to bed sweatdrop )

Mentally drained from the funeral, he watched his wife in shock. She must just be tired, she had to still love him...but there was some doubt as he told himself this. He got up and went to go check on Zelos. Ms. Fae would be coming, as well as Mr. Daoin. It was starting to build up for him.

*Kas just lay there for about a half hour. It was hard getting back to sleep when she had so much stuff to do. So, eventually she got up and decided to look for Aes. He seemed worried about other things when she talked to him*

He was just returning from Zelos. Their son was still asleep and snoring very softly. When he saw Kasumi, he tried to give her a smile.
