She made a face at her love as he teased her, she made a swift swipe at his shoulder playfully as well just to top it off. Her azure orbs turned to the others as they were ushered inside, she followed obediantly watching Cayimmi stay out side gave her a laugh inside. As she passed him she licked the top of his head nurturing, Jasmyn should be on her way back. She had sent word out, she would tell Benoni when they went inside.

Angel woke up again and felt a bit better. She had also grown some. But she was still hungry. She got up and walked over to Kila and sat beside her. Angel noticed that most of the lions had left. She wondered where they went. "Mom where did everyone go?" Angel was getting cold and started to shiver. Angel curled up into a ball and begain to purr. Purring always made her feel better. But the purring didn't help this time. Angel was starting to get a fever. "Mom I dont feel good. And I am hungry."

Tequila picked Angel up and brought her into the den with herself. She set her down by her, "Benoni, she is running a fever," she looked to him worriedly. "I cant be with her tonight, the cubs will be here tonight...I can feel it." she looked to him sympathetically. "You can get some food when the hunters get back," she licked the cub's fore and laid down curling around her.

Benoni had been watching Cayimmi, the young male was itching to be back outside, but he knew it was safer for them to be here. Angel's voice had caught his attention, he gazed down at the young cub and smiled. "Food shall be here soon.." He promised, Kila's words caught his attention instantly. "If she is ill, she shouldnt be with you. Im sorry Kila. I cannot risk you, or our cubs." He said as he then leaned down and picked up Angel gently within his jaws. "She can lay with Niobe tonight.." He said as he placed her down between his own paws away from Kila. Leaning down, he licked her small face. " rest small one..." he said as he then sat there gazing down at his beloved.

" Yes.." Niobe answered as she slunk up towards the front of the beast, her ears flattened against her head as she could hear the cackle of the hyena's laughter. Her shackles rose, she wanted to do this as quickly as possiable.
Just as the wind shifted out of their favor, she lunged for the beasts throat. The gazelle buck let out a gruggling sound as her fangs sunk into his throat, filling her mouth with blood. Her front legs curled around the base of his neck as her back legs kicked at his chest. She could feel his airway close as she locked her jaws shut and hung on for dear life.
She could feel his heart slowly putter out, she wasnt sure if it was from the attack, or the excitement which caused him to have a heartattck from being so over weight. It amazed her he was so big.

Kila's attitude and emotions probably hormones raised "Well she can't be alone now. She's sick and Niobe isn't back yet." her eyes hardened at him. She watched him set her down, he wasn't going to stay with her that long. She had stood up to defend her adopted cub.
A figure apeared at the entrance, a pale green one with pale blue eyes the same as the newly elected Queen. "I can watch her for you." an impish grin apeared on her face, she knew that Kila wasn't expecting her to come even though she had sent out for her. Jasmyn looked to Benoni and then the colder cub.

Benoni's eyes narrowed slightly at the sight of Kila's sister but his tones were soft as he turned to speak to his beloved. " I will stay with her until Niobe returns. You lay back down...dont fret my love." He gave her a hard look now, he'd take Angel and carry her away if he had to. He was thinking of Kila and their cubs well fare.
"Hello Jasmyn..." he said as he turned his eyes back to the female, his ear flicked back but he didnt make a threatening move towards her, or even a tone. " Angel is sick, she has fever...Niobe will know what herbs to fetch. But I will leave her in your saftey. Harm her and you'll wish you hadnt." He was extremely protective of the cubs that were within his pride.

Jasmyn looked at him and wrinkled her nose at him as he flickered his ears back it was the same manner he had did to her, ignoring his comment. She brushed past him, "By the way you have some of those drooling dogs past your border, two won't see tommorows light." she grinned her muzzle was stained of crimson. She rubbed her cheek against Tequilas, "Surprised?"
Tequila looked to Benoni she understood why he didn't like her but she didn't know why Jasmyn didn't like him. She sat down unwanting to lay down just quite yet because she knew if she did she wouldn't want to get back up.

" Thank you. I can sense them, just cant leave here to deal with them..." He nodded his head as he watched the pair. Kila was someone dearest to him, he wasnt sure if he could leave her be with her sister..His tail flicked.
He itched to get out there and deal with the dogs of the land. They'd hadnt taken the hint before it seems. He wiggled his claws in and out of his paws, he wouldnt leave Kila's side until their cubs were safe and beside her and his pride was around to protect the land as well. He couldnt sit still anymore, he rose to his paws and glanced down to Angel for a moment. He'd promised to stay with her..he sat back down and stared out of the cave for a long moment.

Tequila looked to Benoni, "Just go," she replied with a warm smile. "I'd rather have my cubs born without the worry of hyenas around." her tail flickered watching him, giving him an 'I'll be fine' look.
She walked over to Benoni and picked the cub and set her next to herself away from Kila. "You heard the Queen, get outta here." she smiled at him sarcastically. Her azure eyes watching his movements carefully.

He rose to his paws once more, he padded towards Kila and nuzzles her soft as he then licked her muzzle. "I'll be back. Promise." He then bowed his head to Jasmyn. He turned and leaped down from his platform and padded out of the cave, so that he wouldnt alarm the other cubs.
Once he was out of the cave he raced towards his boarders with a speed only known to a King defending his land. He let out a mighty roar in warning as he make his way forward. The yellow eyed dogs scattered breifly as he came to a hault, only to form around him chuckling.

Jasmyn would have rathered to go to hunt down those mangy things but her job was to stay with the cub. After all she was Head Warrior at her pride. She looked at the cub, she knew she couldn't leave without Tequila drifting to sleep. A low growl seemed to emerge from her throat thinking of them she wanted to go but couldn't, almost the same situation as Benoni.
Tequila could hear the dogs cackle breifly, she started to worry. Her azure orbs started to water a bit she could see there yellow tainted teeth lashing out at Benoni. Something bad was going to happen she could feel it.

Angel's head begain to ach a bit and then her stomic started to feel sick. Her whole body shook from the fever. Angel started to purr again but her purr was not as loud. She let out a small cry every now and then when the pain in her head got real bad. She felt awful.

Cayimmi felt completely powerless, watching Benoni dart off alone into the threatening plains. He itched to follow, but what could a cub like him do aside from just being one more worry? With frustration, his claws dug on the hard ground, deep slashes left behind as he fought his own impatience. Why were they taking so damn long coming back??

Fae was terrified, on the brink of panicking. Niobe and the others were still gone, Benoni'd gone out to meet the hyena's cackling, Angel was sick, Cayimmi was angry, and there was a stranger amongst them. She curled into a tiny ball, eyes clentched shut and ears pressed back flat as they'd go. There was that lingering desire to do something, to help in some way if she could. But she knew she couldn't. Same as always, this was the best she could do. Stay out of the way, don't be trouble, hope it ended soon, don't --
