Awera I play on fours right now. With my new mouthpiece, I might be better off on 3 1/2,though.

Awera Awesome-Taro Awera Hrllo fellow Masters of the Universe! Or, clarientists. ^^ Me a freshman. Be nice to me... I march with the the Woodlands High School. WOOOOT! 7th in the freaking NATION! HELL YEAH! ... I could have been at SFA... Still, they suck. ARRGH! Hatred... I am a clarinet player. YAY! I've been playing since 6th grade and I think I suck... >.< But, hey. I've got good sound, darn it! We da bestest of besterest. Welcome frosh! So, what reed size do you play on? I play on 4's and 3 1/2's! I play on fours right now. With my new mouthpiece, I might be better off on 3 1/2,though. Right now I'm playing on a 3 1/2. But sometimes I use 4's. My bd would like for us to all play on 4's.

hey all i just though i would come by the clar section and say hi! i've been playing clar for a little over 8 years now i love it but as with saxophone my arthritis has made it difficult for me to be as good as i'd like. i guess thats why i am a vocalist by trade!

I ish j00r newest Bass Clarinet! -raises roof- I have been playing for 2 years, and am in seventh grade. I have been studying music for 6 and a half years though, playing piano.

i play black master 4 and i have a morgan mouth piece whee ish about to die though gonk

I'm playing on Vandoren 2 1/2's right now, but next time I go to the music store I'm picking up a box of 3's. Actually, I was going to get some Saturday night, but they were all sold out. sad

I use Mitchell Lurie 3s, on a Premier mouthpiece. The BD supplied the mouthpieces (and the leather ligatures, which are the really important part), and requires the marching clarinets to play on nothing less than Vandorans or Mitchell Luries.

Hey ya'll! I'm a senior from VA Beach at Tallwood and I've played the b flat clarinet for 7 yrs now. I also now play e flat and bass clarinet and no other instruments can touch the clarinet. Woot woot! blaugh

hewo!!! i attend yokota high school (yokota, japan...tee hee) and i also play clarinet...which is why i am here....i've been playing for a little over a year..but i played flute for 3 years...which i wasnt very good at...and i am second chair out of my entire high school...soon to be first...because the almighty miko (that's her name) is going to graduate this year and yeah...o yeah...ima sophmore...

wow...who the heck kinda crazy person plays on a friggin 4?!! o well, I'm juzz fine on my lil ol three and vandoren mouthpiece..
aaaanywayz, dude I just checked out that one site with the beastly contra alto bass clarinet and I'm all WHOOOAAAAA I NEED one!!!! haha, No.1 Clarry dork rii hea!!

I also play on a Vandoren 3, although I had to go back to a 2 1/2 for a few days when I got my braces on. Then I went bak to a 3. My mouthpiece is a Selmer 120, or something of the sort, and it is the best mouthpiece I ever had!
Meanwhile, I have a wooden clarinet, and I want a YSS-475. (For those who don't know what that is, it's a Yamaha Soprano Saxophone-475 3nodding )

Jennuh I play on Vandoren 2 1/2's or 2's. I've never played on anything higher. sweatdrop Me too. The only thing is that I play a three for the E flat. 2's for the B flat and Bass.
