Flutists/Trombonists, eh? There's one I've never heard before... Though I guess it's no weirder than our Tuba player that switched from Flute... As far as tips, always remember that you're, as my band director puts it, a walking tuning slide, so learn to adjust your slide positions a bit if you need to... That's all I can think of to offer...

Yeah. xp I can barely play flute anymore, though. My mouth won't behave since I've become relatively proficient on the trombone. ;p

i'm a trombone...obviously because of my other posts...but i'm learning the clarinet and my bd might want me to switch...cause our clarinets need it but, so do the trombones gonk

I, personally, don't think any instrument is better than another. It is just the person playing which instrument.

Folken_Lacour_de_Fanel ...sexier? ... im for euph. tho... played that for three years now (and bassoon on the side for 8...) woot for euphoniums! but marching baritone is ultimate marching instrument.... biggrin i done baritone/euph for 6 years. i did some trombone in like, second grade but my arms were too short for the farther out positions so i switched to valves. hehheh i hate how people stereotype baritones as like, tubas...they can play low but they can play damn high too! scream
