Kita: well well, it seems that you're ready for today's training...here...
*Kita tossed to Kaida a wrapped up bundle of tags...rope summoning tags to be precise...*
Kita: to first step is to sign a signature to the tags...a drop of blood should suffice...then, all that's needed to activate them is chakra...at first, the only way you can summon and control the ropes is if you're in contact with them...after summoning, you have to be able to concentrate chakra into the ropes so that you feel they are more of an extension of yourself rather than a weapon...that mentality will allow you to control its movements...this requires precise chakra control to move it freely, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it...right about now, maybe 1-2 ropes is the most you can handle...
*Kita walked up closer to Kaida*
Kita: the game for today is Tag...
*Kita tapped Kaida on the forehead and then backslid about 20 feet*

Edge looked up briefly from his book before going back to reading. "I think she wants to play a game of hide and seek. Though I never agreed to be taught anything. If you want you can play but I'd rather learn more about the culture here and on future missions elsewhere. She wants a proxy which you seem to know something about by the sound of you knowing something about teaching."

Kaida glanced over the tags looking over the design on them being a maker of tags herself. She slips the tags into a special place where she can easily access them and gives chase to Kita using all her skill to try and capture or tag her opponent.
Dissappearing she landed in the trees above Kita then lept to another location. Biting her thumb she bled just enough for a tag and then signing the tag she lept again and focused her chakra upon the tag trying to give it direction to the location it should move. Her control of chakra was not at Kitas level yet but sufficient enough for basic motion of the rope.

((oh, sorry about the confusion...ok...so...along the whole path, there'll be short branches sticking out, leading upwards towards the target, which hangs about 35 feet off the ground, off a branch of a tree on your left side...as you begin the path, the ground will have 1ft long bamboo spikes sticking out of it...the spikes on the trees are actually 6inch needles placed rather closely together, meaning landing with your foot on a branch is asking for pain...various pit stops will be present along the path, but i'll tell you when you run into one...))
((In any case, for Kinoru, the goal for you is not to gracefully swing like Iva through the trees, but to adapt that 8foot whip into your own fighting style...you don't have to make it become your main fighting style or anything, just know you have it in your arsenal...that goes to the rest of you...don't imitate, make it your own...))

Shunketsu: hmmm...maybe you should give it a try...
*Shunketsu walked over a tree at the entrance to where Miki is hiding...he grabbed on to a rope that was hanging off a branch...he was then silent for a while...*
Shunketsu: There's a trap about...3 inches from where this rope ends...
*a pulse of chakra was sent along the rope...and a pop could be heard somewhere in the forest*
Shunketsu: I disabled that trap for ya...hmm...these ropes really are useful tools...never thought they could be used as a tunnel for amplifying and releasing chakra, let alone as a detection tool...interesting...
*Shunketsu then let go of the rope and began walking towards the others...*

*Kaida successfully summoned a single rope, and for about a second it shot outward, but then fell limp while Kita basically walked away from Kaida...*
Kita: hehe...too much chakra placed into the tag...you use the tag for summoning...the rope's movement is what you should be focusing your chakra on...

(Thanks, thats all I needed to know, always gotta take your surroundings into account, aqnd now I know a certain Inzuka Taijutsu won't work, based on the side spikes, hmmm.....This is definatly going to be interesting^^)

Edge continued to read his book and noted for future reference. "I'll keep that in mind for next time Sensei but I'm not the right guy for their request and also this isn't part of our mission." Feeling this wasn't going to be a quiet read as he liked he moved from his seated position and made his way back to one of the Ramen stands to at least get some of the culture.

*Shunketsu threw over his shoulder a small scroll that landed on Edge's book and unrolled itself...it was a mission order...they were hired by Yasuo to be the proxies for the battle...the only reason Shunketsu hadn't given the word for everyone to pack their bags and get a move on home was because Yasuo immediately sent a mission request for the nearest available genin to be the proxies...and the nearest available were already in the village...Kohana had been escorted, this was the only reason they were still here...*
*it was now Edge's choice whether he would train or not...training wasn't part of the mission order...*

Kaida bit her lip softly then lept again and again to another location. She had to keep trying not only for the sake of her training, but for the sake of this village she would be fighting for. Again she tried to summon the rope this time focusing her chakra into the rope's movement rather than in just summoning it.

((Er....it may take awhile for Kinoru to get started, I'm opening 2 guilds soon, but there's still alot of work to do. So I'm very bust, cause along with the guilds I have a billion other things to do.......plus I'm still trying to figure out how to do this.....though I haven't put much thought into it^^')

(Surprisingly I kinda knew that was coming ninja )
Edge read the scroll and sighed. He really wasn't going to enjoy this but if he was going to prepare for a fight he may as well go off and practice his techniques. Edge had a lot to consider then about his jutsu and how to counteract the problems he had before during his last battle. He set off towards where he hoped he could touch up on his tricks of the trade.

Kita sad to herself)hmm...she's still learning, but I think she may get the hang of it pretty soon...she summoned the long rope which didn't move, she summoned the short rope that moved...now let's see if she can combine them, and then afterwards do something more advanced with them...

Edge went to one of the nearby building tops to get a good view of the village. "This should be a good place to think. Hmm now then lets see plan of attack." Edge pondered the current jutsu he knew compared to the others and also of the genin they had fought here. In most cases learning their jutsu could be a blessing however the opposing team had most liekly been trained to know and understand their rope style jutsu in case an actual rematch had ever occurred. Right now they'd probably be watching them practice for the match to understand what they were up against to ensure they were prepared for the match. His only advantage was due to just being a genin they hadn't seen any of his combat skills only the ramen nin. However he would still need to come up with some new jutsu just in case to prepare for any problems. The last match proved that they would not be playing with kids but more seriously. "Well time to get to work." He sat down and began to use hishead going over all the previous encounters with the ramen nin and with his team mates...

Kaida was silent in the trees and for now she kept and eye on Kita while summoning and trying to control the rope itself. If she was going to do this she figured she would take her time enough to at least do it correctly even if she didn't go after Kita right away.
