Ello dived back down into the trench. Maybe going back up and down had some use. This area seemed deeper than the rest. He went down further, gaze zeroing in on a cave. Was this where the sacrifices happened?

A shark! The huge looming dark mass seemed like a shark at least. Ello scurried back out of the cave as quick as his little paws could muster. This really wasn't a bright idea.

Ello swam around the statue with a keen eye. A few bubbles of air hit his body, making him feel odd. He wiggled at the new sensation before looking down. Air! Graciously, he caught a few of the pesky pockets before continuing on his journey.

He lifted his eyes from the air vent to find...the altar. Ello gulped as a sense of dread overwhelmed him. The sounds coming from nearby didn't help either. Maybe it was best to split and forget about this place.

The little seathi drifted through the turquoise shallows, letting the current pull her along. She had come here expecting an adventure - and she had, beginning first at a coral reef. Of course, like the slightly clumsy mare she had been since she was a filly, she managed to stub her hoof on a piece of coral, nearly putting a chip in it. Ouch! Pain snaked up her ankle.

Sangria shook her mane out and glared at the ocean's surface. Hopefully today's jaunt to the altar would not be like the one before. Starting out by wading in the shadows Sangria's keen gaze picked up the glint of a piece of jewelry left behind. 'I think I'll just hold onto this for safe-keeping.'
