"I'm so sorry!" Tevini apologized. She didn't feel confident about this at all. Kolako was being super nice about it but Tevini was just too used taking the blame for things to not apologize by now. She tossed the ball over towards Kolako, emphasis towards but not to. For a girl who used a gun, she wasn't great at aiming with her hands.

"Uwah!" Tevini smacked the ball with all her might! There wasn't much to her but she did her best. She couldn't let her teammate down! She remembered how nice Kolako had been when she'd been selected as her partner. Falling down into the sand from her jump, she looked up and hoped the ball made it.
Which, of course, it didn't.

"Oof!" It seemed they were spending more time on the ground than the ball was in the air. Tevini struggled to leap and hit the ball for Kolako. She was tempted to try and use her powers to cheat and help her hits but was too afraid about not being able to control it. She'd better not.

Lutrin struggled as Aerona pulled her down from, but came to her senses when the redblood spoke. She brightened almost immediately and wiggled positively in the redblood's arms, a notably different kind of squirming from that just seconds before. “Yes!!” Lutrin agreed with full enthusiasm. She would have cartwheeled, but Aerona's arm on her shoulder and the sand under her feet made her rethink that outburst.
