Also, I'll answer your pm's asap. I ran out of time the other day and then things went a bit nutty here with the thunderstorms and rain. The basement ended up flooding Sunday night/Monday morning so Ashe & I were up all night trying to get the water cleaned up. We still have to clean up the mess that the water left behind but no time today since Audrey has a vet appointment but I will get to our chats...and hopefully tonight if I'm not too tired. *huggles*

Flooded basement during storms is annoying, been there done that. > <
Just don't forget to wear long boots and gloves when taking off the water
from the basement. It will prevent you and Ashe to get dirty water on your
wounds and prevent other sickness as well.

One of my friends got sick because of that. He forgot to wear gloves and
he had a fresh wound on his right palm and it got infected with the rain
water that was apparently mixed with dangerous chemicals in the sewers.
Good thing he noticed that his right hand was swelling so he went to the
doctor before the worst of the worst starts.

And please do take your time in answering the PM's. Don't answer them
when you're exhausted, I wouldn't want that. > <

We had to change out of our original water proofed shoes into our water proofed boots after we got the first pair of shoes soaked due to the water being so high. lol The water was actually pretty clear other than the dirt/dust from the basement floor...you know, from those places that you just can't seem to reach.

Oh...I have a couple of cuts on my right hand. No clue how I got them. On my left hand, I burnt the top of my ring finger trying to turn potatoes in the oven last week (all while Audrey decided that it was time to go crazy/play all through the house including the kitchen). It was sore/swelled up but not now. It is still healing up since it was a pretty good burn from the oven rack at 500 degrees. But everything looks good even after cleaning up water in the basement.

Omg...so true. lol
I need a lazy week...no make that a month. Though...I'm not sure that I could handle it. What would I do with myself? hahaha!
