Vina's breath was shaky as she tried to stabilize herself. She watched as the cat moves to lay on Ree before moving to her, feeling the energy from the cat's touch. Her hands were shaking in fear even if her face didn't show it. She nodded slowly as he told her they needed to move. That much, she could understand. Looking down to Ree as he suggestion cremation, she took another breath and looked over at Lena's dead body cold in the street. She narrowed her eyes, concentrated despite the strain it was putting on her. The body began to ignite into flames as she exhaled and almost passed out, the focus too much for her at the moment to keep up, but at that rate, she'd be turned to ash in a matter of minutes. She then turned her attention back to Ree and frowned. "You're leg.. I can pull it out.." she offered, knowing the aversion to the pain may cause him to hesitate, to cause more damage in trying to keep it in. She didn't want to hurt him, but they had to move as soon as possible.

The cat watched Lena catch fire, the fire going hotter and hotter by the second. Looking back at Vida it nudge her slightly as it healed, this way Lena would have disappeared without a trace ...almost. He let out a breath wanting to mention the time he saw her just cut and push an arrow through her with only a look of discomfort ... he could do it, he been shot who knows how many times... he could handle an arrow because they needed to move and he was wasting time here. "Fine, fast ...please" he said clenching his teeth and taking a deep breath before releasing it slowly trying to relax instead of tense up. The cat flicked its tail with a look of concern before healing Vida up to a point and moving now to its own body ready to take over healing once Vida pull out the bolt.

Vina nodded and moved to him, she went to take a deep breath but stopped midway through, not giving any warning to her actions so she could act as quickly as possible. Was it a better method? She was unsure, but she preferred so maybe it was. In one swift motion, she broke the bolt near the skin and pulled the other end out as quickly as possible. A flicker of a regretful frown on her face as she pressed her hands against both side, heating it enough to cauterize the wound so he wouldn't lose anymore blood and he could focus on the healing within. "Sorry." she muttered with sympathy, as she knew very well it had to have hurt.
Looking over to the dying flames of what was Lena's body, she reached down to help Ree up once he was finished healing enough. They'd spent far too much time in one place, and they had to move now. "Where to? Estate or the safe house?" she whispered, trying to stay as close to Ree as possible by this point.midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.

He took a deep breath again as he felt her hold the bolt then choked off a yell as she broke it off and pulled it through the other side of his leg. The next part he had not expected and tried to jerk away hissing and arching backwards then curling forward with a whimper at the burns. The cat watched dully, limping forward the moment she pulled away and leaned against himself sending healing energy to alleviate some of the pain in both the leg and the shoulder as well as finishing what it could in both areas. "Thanks..." he choked out not feeling that thankful at the moment but he knowing he will eventually. Taking a shaky breath to continue he started to push himself up slowly even as pain still radiated from the area "Safe house" he said reaching out to pick up the cat, dragging himself up to a sitting position then pushing himself to stand slowly. Vida's words about the guards worried him, with Lena gone they could go back to the estate later. The cat stayed in Ree's arms, still a sooty grey as it kept healing as Ree took a breath and tries to push the pain down as he did when being electrocuted....using the same technique Tri had shown him. "Okay" motioning he was ready and for her to lead, favoring the one leg that wasn't hurting as bad after some healing but it was still there, as he breathed in and out shakily.

Vina nodded as she held him up, trying to walk with him back to the safehouse as quickly as possible that his body would allow for. She tried to make sure no one was following, but without the crystal, there was only so much she could see with her own human eyes.
As they approached the shop that held the safe house, Vina stopped, staring at the broken in glass and the disarray of the shop as though it had been broken into an ransacked. There was blood sprayed into the street like there had been a fight among kicked up dirt.
She couldn't even fathom what had happened as it was silent in the shop. The cat would be able to clearly see there was one person in the actual shop towards the back close to the ground. And in the safe house below were five souls, one of them being Giselle's unique spirit that he could recognize.midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.

Ree started to move a bit more easily as time passed and the cat continued to heal. Still he moved as fast as he could grabbing onto the stone with his other hand as they walked. As they stopped he looked at Vina in confusion until he looked at the store they had stopped in front. He went taunt as he stared at the vaguely familiar interior, cold rushing through him as he moved toward the interior. Not even bothering to ask if this was the right place, not with Giselle's soul shining like a beacon. A beacon.. .sh** " Someone at the far end, 5 people down down stairs...3 .....missing" he whispered with a lack of emotion to mask his fear and pain. Quietly stepping over the glass he stopped and waiting for Vina to join him before moving forward. One hand grasping the stone while the other still held one of the guns. The cat tensed and extended healing energy trying to find any more hidden enemies.

Vina let out a shaky breath paired with almost the faintest whimper of helplessness as she stared at the shop. There were no other souls around other than the ones he had already seen. She was shaking, she had hoped they would have been safe, but now knowing they hadn't been. Would she have been able to help if she had stayed, or was she the reason they found them at all. Stupid. Stupid!
It wasn't until Ree's voice snapped her out of her racing thoughts. Three missing. No.. no no no..
She narrowed her eyes, trying to mask her own fear in anger and defense even if her hands were trembling. She moved after him slowly, watching the dark shop which was silent at the moment.
Soon there was movement from the back of the shop, something moving, heavy breathing, and then a glowing red eye as it locked onto Ree and began to step forward. Glass crunching as large paws stepped on debris and broken items, moving into view as the large bear, heavily wounded but still defending the shop. One of his eyes was slashed through and he was bleeding profusely over wooden floors cluttered with what had been thrown to the floor in the scuffle. A short low growl emitted his mouth before he closed his uninjured eye and shifted back into a humanoid form and fell to his knees, coughing up blood.
Vina rushed to him quickly. "Nero!.. what happened.." she asked in a panicked hushed voice. She surely hoped no one else had been this badly damaged. And furthermore, why Marq was here helping him and healing him. Was he downstairs protecting the others as last line of defense.
Nero steadied only enough to look up at Vina with blood-covered hair and an unusable slashed eye. "After you and Ree left, they came here. Noise upstairs and the kind lady was hurt. It was a mess. Ashral fought against them. Get the people upstairs downstairs." he explained in a soft but raspy voice then coughed again, blood dripping from his mouth. It was unknown whether it was his own, someone else, or a combination of the two. "Little one is okay. They took Miss Hope. Marq tried to stop them, dangerous thing. They took Ashral too. I think he felt bad. Went to go them back. Said to stay here. Guard the rest. Did so until they stopped coming." he finished then swallowed hard with strained breath.
"s**t." she cursed in anger as she glanced to Ree. She doubted he was going to take then news well, she just didn't know how bad his reaction would be. "The others are downstairs?" she asked. Nero nodded and she quickly moved to the hatch, uncovering it from the carpet and debris that lay upon it and opened it, running down the steps to quickly check on everyone.

Ree stared at Nero, taking a step back when the bear feral headed toward him unsure if he was still in a blood frenzy or not. Relaxing only a bit when Nero shifted back, the cat on the other hand was staring with its fur fully on end. As Vina rushed past him to Nero he relaxed slightly and finally moved up to the feral, looking him over as he spoke. "Little one is okay. They took Miss Hope. Marq tried to stop them, dangerous thing. They took Ashral too. I think he felt bad. Went to go them back. Said to stay here. Guard the rest. Did so until they stopped coming." Both he and the cat took a breath and froze, the look of panic at the news slowly faded to a stoic expression as his mind raced. When Vina moved toward the hatch he lowered the cat by Nero where it laid its ears back but hit against the Feral and laid down sending healing energy as fast as it could into the bear. Ree let out a slow breath as he felt his energy ebb slightly but moved to follow Vina and stopped. "Tell me if anyone else needs healing" he said quietly, shutting down emotionally as he stayed by Nero instead of following her down. He look blank as he reached up to hold onto the stone and look down, blinking slightly when he saw nothing but the cat did. Was this what they meant by protected? Looking away he stared toward the front of the store instead, on hand gripping the gun the other the stone, tightly in comfort.

Vina moved down, stopping half way down the stairs, keeping a hand on the hatch to survey the people within.
"Vina!" Giselle exclaimed with tears in her eyes. "You're okay!" she ran up and hugged Vina on the stares. Vina looked down at the still life, seeing she was perfectly okay. "Giselle, how is everyone down here? Does anyone need healing?"
"Everyone is fine down here. Just scrapes and bruises. They knocked Mercy unconscious, but Ashral was able to fight them off so Cinder and Katarina could get her down here. Ashral just told us to stay down here and was fighting them up there for a long time with Marq and Nero. Then it got really quiet." she rambled off, not realizing she was giving similar information to what Nero had already said.
Vina nodded and took one last look around, seeing Marion still there, tied up but awake, muffled yelling and a piercing angry look. "So they took Hope and left Marion."
"They tried for both but Ashral stopped them." Giselle answered with a frown.
"Okay, stay down here still for now, we have to figure out what to do from here." she instructed and moved back up the stairs to Ree. "Everyone is okay down there. One unconscious, but she's fine." she looked to Ree with a frown. "I'm guessing they took them to the estate.. but you would think we would have seen them while fighting or on our way back." she commented then thought, "I don't know."
Nero felt the healing, and while the scars began to fade, the blood remained. "..thank you.." he spoke softly to the cat with a hint of meekness to it. He appeared uneasy, only in the sense like a giant would be afraid to crush a delicate flower. He looked up as heard Giselle's voice from the safe house and Vina even confirmed they were all okay, a very faint smile on his face before he coughed again. "...we go? or I stay?.."

Ree looked faintly relieved as he let go and clenched the other one just below it as tightly as he could as he stared outwards listening. Looking to the side at Vina he nodded quietly "It doesn't make se- ..." he frowned and pulled out the blue crystal he was clenching under his clothing. "......." putting it back down his wings shivered slightly. The cat flicked its ears uncertainly at Nero but finally reached out and lightly licked a un-bloody piece of skin once before standing again slowly. Looking down at Nero he shook his head ."Stay, someone still needs to keep the rest safe. If there is anywhere else they could hide it would be best if we can move them there first while it is still night. " he said quietly, his voice blank. Turning back to Vina he motioned to the front of the store " What do you want to do? Your sister is dead... you are next in line even if the guards might have a different plan. There is still a chance you can escape in three days. Or do you still want to go after the three? I will be going regardless but I want to know what you think" he said looking down and picking up the cat as he looked over Nero with a critical eye before adjusting the cat to his injured arm and held his good hand out silently to him to help him up. "Which ever you pick I will also need to know any information you have of the guards themselves, if you know it. Are they telepathically or spiritually linked? The masked moved...well...that doesn't matter. Anything you can think of "

Nero watched the cat carefully, almost intrigued in quiet wonder beneath matted black hair, red glowing eyes focused followed by a very small innocent smile at the lick of the cat. He looked up at Ree then nodded at being told to stay. To protect everyone.
Vina nodded. "There are more safe houses."
"Kind lady is unconscious and Miss Marion is still here. Moving is dangerous." Nero spoke up softly.
"That's fine, Nero you can carry Mercy, and the three girls can walk. Marion can stay tied up here. They'll eventually come for her and she won't hold any power as the last in line and with Lena in power anymore." Vina retorted calmly.
"Miss Lena gone?"
Vina simply nodded then looked to Ree. "They are supposed to be loyal to the next in line but I don't know if they will. I wasn't told much about it because I think Carmella doubted it would come to all this. Even so, I want to go after them. They have Ashral and Marq. And I can't just let you go fight them alone." she answered with a more determined look.
Nero was helped up and he bowed his head a little to Ree.
Vina frowned, "The guards can use magic but they are not mages. They carry vials which contents are changed depending on who they'd be fighting. But there is at least smoke-like one to get away and one to help them heal. The others are meant to counteract specific powers. The masks, I've never seen them move like that. They always stay the same, but I know it gives them heightened senses and telepathy to only others that wear the masks. Then there's the crystals they wear. It always them to see us no matter what. I'm sure it's the same way mine works." she began to explain to him. "That's all I can think of."

Ree's eyes narrowed slightly at the mention of Marion... a danger, someone that should be dealt with before she could be a problem. Taking a breath he closed his eyes and let it out slowly as the cat growled softly as it looked up at him. "Fine...." he said quietly to the cat and looked up when Nero took his hand, looking faintly alarmed as he automatically helped him up, smiling ever so faintly before sobering. "Keep them safe " he said quietly nodding back then looking at Vina. "I want to go back to the warehouse. Restock from what is left and then scrounge some of the vials and masks and test them. If we can make it before they do. Then move on from there to the mansion" he said with a frown since he was trying to decide what could be done. Almost tempted to walk up and ask to see Hope in all reality. Looking back at Nero he frowned. "Can you all make it to the next safe house? Or do you think it would be better if I cloaked you?" asking him since Nero would be carrying ...Mercy? likely Cinder's mother.

Vina nodded, "That sounds good. Restock, grab as many vials as we can. Use what we can against them." she confirmed then sighed a bit.
Nero shifted seemingly with nervousness, it was hard to tell. "I can get them there." he answered quietly, keeping his head down still.
"Okay good.. Please keep them safe, Nero. I know you can." she offered a smile to him, knowing he'd know even if it didn't look like he was looking at her. "Let's get going, Ree, before they head there to clean up..."midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.

"Good luck" he said quietly to Nero and turned to look at Vina before shifting the cat in his arms. Pausing a moment he took off the necklace and handed it silently to Vina before moving forward, the cat carefully cradled in his injured arm as he moved with only a slight limp. He would have rather have given the necklace to Nero so he could see any dangers but it was Rika's and Vina should be the one to do so if she wanted, but if stayed with them or went with Nero and the others it worked. Actually... Pausing he turned and gave the gun to Nero. "Give that to Katarina only after you all left. She can help you " he sighed as he turned away. Moving outside the cat looked around intently before he headed back in the direction they came from.

Nero gave a single nod in response to Ree before looking at the gun hesitantly and took it with shaky hands like he was all too scared to even touch it then bowed his head slightly once more.
Vina took a steadying breath, "Okay." she then moved outside with Ree and following beside him as they moved back toward the direction they had come in.
As they made their way back onto the site for the warehouse, there was a gunshot that range out suddenly. Vina turned to see five guards suddenly appeared waiting for them, and one had shot into the air to get their attention. In the middle of them was Marq bloodied and barely breathing, his white hair and wings stained in his on blood as he was collared, kneeling with his hands shackled together in front of him, in each hand a grenade with the pin pulled but the levers held down in his palms. Two of them had guns trained on the archangel they had. "We found a pest in the estate..." they all spoke at once, all of them the same female voice that had been identified as Lena earlier.
"Pitiful thing.. trying to save Hope and the small vampire." one of them spoke.
"In the meantime, I wonder how long the little one will last? She was fighting so valiantly, I'd never seen anyone fight so hard... too bad the only use she has not to be relentlessly tortured until someone goes to get her or she eventually dies. If she even dies. another spoke.
"What will you do? At this rate they will both meet horrible fates and the clock is ticking." the masks of the five of them arched their lips into smiles, staring at Ree and Vina.
"Or you could kill the other one and I'll let your object go. Vina, kill him and I'll let Marq go. You, kill Vina and I'll let your vampire friend go."midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.
