I know it's pain in the a**, but couldn't you call the bill companies...and contact your apartment and let them know you're going to be a bit late? I wager the late fees would be a LOT less than $700.
Just a thought. Normally one week won't get your power, lights or gas shut off. Or did you/do you get paid biweekly?

I get paid bi-weekly. I hate calling bill companies. They always make me feel so....small and guilty. But you're right. I should at least try it. It's better than sitting around going all emo on everyone. emo

Well, I need to vent and know one is online. I just got home from work and my daughter (who is at her fathers for a month) pm me. Her stepmother is an evil women. She goes out of her way to make my daughter feel uncomfortable and unwanted. My daughters visits have become shorter if she even goes. This lady has ruined any chance of my daughter knowing her biological father, and now my daughter is not going to be around there enough to know her little brother and sister. What makes a grown woman dispise a child so much that she has to be cruel. By the way my daughter is almost 14 and has been dealing with this lady for about 7 years. Then to top it off, she wanted to know how me and my daughter talk all the time, so my daughter showed her Gaia. Now she has created an account and is probably reading this! Also, her username pisses me off (texasmomof2) two, what is my daughter to her?
Okay, I'm done ranting! Ifeel better, sorry it was so long.

Some people, when the marry someone who has been previously married, feel the need to ostracize and banish all renants of the persons old life, be it ex-wife/husband, kids, or sometimes even friends. It may or may not be 'personal' to your daughter, but simply that your daughter reminds her step-mother and her father that at one time there were other people in his life.

Yeah, what kills me the most is that I can't do anything. I have threaten to come down there and (use your imagination) and Iv'e talked to her father. Know matter what I do this woman always takes it out on my daughter(always mentally never physically). So my daughter has begged me not to say anything because I just make the matters worse. I think she really holds alot of stuff back because she knows what I really want to do to this lady.
Thanks eveyone for listening, it really helps venting cause I'm ready to rip her f*****g head off!
