Orton successfully caught Owens slipping with an unexpected strike to the jaw, immediately he would finish the sequence off with an aggressive clothesline.

Owens would fall onto the mat back first after being hit with a clothesline.

Orton would lean on the ropes, taking a moment to catch a breather as you could here distant chants in the crowd saying "Lets go, Orton!"

Owens would slowly begin to get to his feet, using the assistance of the ropes.

Orton would notice Owens making strides to get to his feet, he would allow him to do so. The Viper would wait for Owens to meet him in the center of the ring after reaching his feet.

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens would begin the stare down, they've been going at it every since the bell rung. The match's intensity seemed to bump up a level or two as the two stood face to face. Determined.

Owens would stare down Orton for a bit, for what felt like a few minutes, but in reality was only a few seconds. He'd quickly jump back into the action, trying to grab the back of Orton's head and send him punch after punch after punch

Orton would throw punches back until his hands went numb, each man refusing to give the edge to his opponent.

Both men threw relentless shots at each other, but it had to end somehow. Owens would grab Orton and attempt to throw him into the nearest steel post

Randy Orton would be tossed to the nearest steel post, his shoulder colliding with it and falling outside the ring clearly in pain.

Owens used this as an advantage to catch some breathe, recover a little from all those punches. But eventually he would roll onto the outside of the ring.

Orton would be rolling around outside, checking on his shoulder making sure it's not dislocated and he's still able to participate in this match (and yes he was fine).

Owens followed Orton outside the ring, he would kick him in the back of the head and yell at him to get to his feet.
