Monica was a lieutenant now, which meant she had more responsibilities to fulfill. Unfortunately, as a lieutenant in the supply division...well, it also meant Monica was actually away from base more than she thought she'd be.
But the moment she arrived back and saw what was going on - which wasn't hard, because this tree was huge - she charged for it with her fishing rod, swinging the hook wildly. If only it had a face so that she might be able to aim better!

Total Damage: 105 Weapon: Fishing Rod (2d6-2) Damage: 7 HP: 45/50 Greta had been good at the knife (by some miracle of vegetable chopping) but somehow the fishing rod was very intuitive. A nice swing was followed by a solid hit.

She doesn't cut a particularly interesting or powerful figure. Her face is lined and soft. Her eye unremarkable. Soft spoken, dutiful, and obedient. She takes orders and takes them well.
Vayne looked around at all the others, they all seemed as tired as he was, but it was a good kind of tired. They had managed to take out the tree, and its other two forms... it was hard but as a group the prison showed it was tough.
With a loud CRACK the thing shifted into a m---effing tree and Mia, too stunned to react at first, just stared. He couldn't believe that it changed a third time and it just reminded him of that show with the digital monsters that kept changing and getting bigger and bigger--
Snapping himself out of it, Mia grimaced and twirled his fishing pole before lashing out at it again with the end of the line, catching it and pulling with the lure as he dragged the metal out of the creature, causing damage to whatever place it had landed.
Crude, but efficient. Mia felt a little winded still, but satisfied that he'd at least helped a little in the majority of things, even if his part was small.

Shaun had had to take a nap in his cell, resting because apparently the seed could hit. When he awoke to check on the progress of the weed eradication, he sure was surprised to find that it had grown into a ******** TREE. A TREE.
He swiped at it with a fishing rod, feeling it's tendrils lash back at him painfully. “Wonderful!” he said, grumpily – apparently he'd woken up on the wrong side of his cot. “Just spectacular. Seriously. Weed killer.” Though he didn't think it would work on a tree, but what did he know? He wasn't a gardener...

His face was rounder in his childhood, and elongated with puberty, but he still looks like the imp that he is and was, and his body is lean but muscular and very flexible. He has a cute teddy bear (or is it a monkey?) backpack that he uses to carry stuff in. Its really cute.
Shaun is mischevious, easygoing, and very friendly but he's also a little reckless by nature, especially when showing off his acrobatics. He needs people and does not do well alone, so he makes a great teammate and will be as helpful as possible, but ultimately he is out for himself.
Vine Shaun is what you would expect – slender and vine-y with very little mass. Even as this, he is a show off, highly social, and more than a little dramatic...
Shaun gave it another whack for good measure and sheer grumpiness before he went to do something - anything - else.
