"Well I suppose how you feel about it is all that matters huh?" C.T asked thoughtfully, placing a hand under her chin and tilting her head. "And for the marker I would like Fuchsia." C.T said absently, before pausing. "Wait what?"

Esther wasn't sure what C.T. was confused about, but it didn't matter. She had gotten her answer. And she fully intended to prepare that sticker for tomorrow, if for no other reason than to get a few more laughs. Jumping in front of C.T., Esther grinned. "What if we stood Mag and Jennie up? Do something spontaneous, like... get a hotel and spend the night there, just the two of us. Or we could just go home. Either way..." Esther grabbed the fabric of C.T.'s top and pulled her close. "After this talk, I feel like I need to remind you just how you're mine."

"Fuchsia," C.T mumbled to herself as if lost, she didn't even know that was a color, let alone what tone it was. She had probably just agreed to walk around with a pink sticker on her a**. Great. "What if we stood Mag and Jennie up? Do something spontaneous, like..." "Get tattoo's on our asses?" C.T asked with a goofy grin, filling in for Esther when the girl had trailed off, even though it was Clear that Esther was onto a different train of thought "Yes, I like that idea, we should catch a cab home, I feel like I need to remind you of all the reasons why you can't live without me." C.T said, leaning into the girl as Esther pulled at the loose fabric of her shirt. "You know for a second there, I thought your violent streak had ruined the mood, glad it hasn't."

"You mean you're not turned on by my short-tempered, protective side?" Esther replied nonchalantly, brows raised slightly and lips turned upward. "Hmm, when you get intense and dark-eyed... you have me on my knees." What could she say? Clearly she had a strong attraction toward strong women, and no one could beat C.T. Esther began walking backwards, dragging C.T. along with her, and she reached for her phone with her free hand to call the cab.
(Timeskip? Maybe to the part where they leave for their roadtrip? Or did you want to do something else before then?)

(Happy belated thanksgiving lol by the way, just wanted to have one more conversation with Mag, bring her and Jennie home into the warehouse while Esther and C.T are in a state of undress before they truck out on their roadtrip) "I didn't say that, I am very aroused by your more assertive side, in certain situation." C.T said laughing, though she stopped laughing when Esther mentioned how she liked when C.T got dark eyed and intense. "So you like the more serious me hm?" C.T asked heatedly, and when Esther called for the cab, there were no more words needed. ___ Time Skip ___ "Not that I let it distract me from you." C.T said as she laid on her back in her bed with her eyes closed. "But my phone went off at least ten times, while we were busy, I think we might have been missed."

Esther placed a kiss on C.T.'s shoulder, then pressed herself into the girl's side, arms around C.T.'s torso and head resting in the crook where C.T.'s arm and midsection met. "They're probably not happy with us. But I'm definitely not regretting our decision..." she mused, tracing absent-minded patterns on her girlfriend's skin.
Speak of the devil, a series of knocks suddenly sounded from the door. "Connie? Esther? I know you both are in there!" growled Mag's annoyed voice. "Jennie and I waited for the two of you for forty-five minutes, wondering where you went off to, trying to contact you!" Mag knocked again, this time louder, as if threatening to burst in. "Don't try to ignore me! I'll knock down this door."
Esther cringed. She doubted Mag was really that angry with them, but she sure sounded pretty frustrated. "I got the door last time," she whispered to C.T. "Go on, baby. Take one for the team. I've got your back." She glanced at the window. "Unless you want to try to escape."

"I don't regret our decision either, I think we took the hand we were dealt and cleaned house with it." C.T said comfortably, she always felt so warm with Esther around and now it was no different. She absently hugged Esther closer to her. And then came the knocking and the yelling. "Until, right now." C.T said sighing and sitting up, being careful not too jostle Esther too much, she wanted to just ignore Mag, but the girl would indeed kick the door in if she did that, and it was her turn as Esther had said, and the girl did have her back. C.T sighed, and stood up, throwing the covers over Esther to cover her nudity, while she marched over to the door. Pausing a moment to fix her messy hair as if that were the only thing wrong with her current state, before she threw the door completely open. Two things happened, one was Jennie squealing and covering her eyes, and two was the mock look of anger that Mag had painted across her face quickly dropping for a complete look of shock that she now sported. "What?" C.T demanded pretending to be very angry herself as she starred Mag down. "Why are you naked?" Mag asked breathlessly and C.T rolled her eyes still keeping up her act. "Well when two people love each other very much Mag, sometimes they-" "Nevermind! Well, just checking up on you, Jennie lets go I'll show you too my room, C.T we'll chat later. Bye!" "Problem solved." C.T said with a grin, closing the door and dropping back onto the bed with Esther. (Now we can time skip whenever you see fit XD.)

(Haha, that was priceless. XD)
Esther's jaw still hadn't returned to its proper place by the time C.T. shut the door and returned to the bed. She watched her girlfriend with widened eyes, in complete awe of what had just happened. Mag's face and Jennie's reaction... Oh, God, Esther would be laughing over those for days. Right now, though, she could only smirk. Esther climbed on top of C.T., straddling her, and leaned in to kiss her. "You're so damn sexy when you shut people down like that."
- TIMESKIP -
This was the day. Esther had already packed up the car with what belongings she thought were worth taking, and now they were going to say their goodbyes and leave. There wasn't much of a plan, but so far she and C.T. seemed to be in agreement about the first stop: C.T.'s hometown. It wasn't too far; they would reach it in less than a day, Esther guessed.
After giving Jennie a hug, Esther embraced Mag. "Thanks for everything, Mag," she said to the woman warmly with a smile. "It's been fun."
"Don't talk like that," Mag replied gruffly, scrunching her nose. "You're going on roadtrip, not dying." Esther supposed Mag was right, and she knew they were likely going to return here one day, but she wasn't sure when that would be. When C.T. finally decided she couldn't be away any longer, she figured. But what would they find on their trip? "Look after her, 'kay?" Mag added, interrupting Esther's thoughts.
Esther's smile faded, her expression becoming a touch more serious. "Yeah, of course. You know I will."
"Even if she says she doesn't need the support, don't let her push you away."
The hug ended and Esther, nodding, stepped back to swing the last bag over her shoulder.

"Talking about me I assume?" C.T asked as she walked up behind Esther, she had been busy loading the car and couldn't help but over hear the two. "No not at all." Mag said innocently, while C.T rolled her eyes. She took the bag that Esther was holding and threw it over her shoulder taking it upon herself too carry it for the smaller girl. "Just making sure she knows too take care of you, since you can't take care of yourself." Mag said punching C.T on the shoulder. "I guess I should give Jennie the same advice?" C.T asked, giving Jennie a look that let her know that she wasn't completely joking. "Won't be necessary Connie." Mag said smiling and just staring at C.T who stared right back, before sighing and dropping the bag she had taken from Esther, and raising her arms too Mag who rushed her in a heavy embrace. "I'm going too miss you Connie.""Mhm""Say it!" Mag demanded, jabbing C.T in her side lightly. "I'll miss you too Magdalene." C.T said grinning as Mag groaned. "Why do you have too try and ruin the moment." Mag whined, letting Connie go "Because now you're talking like we are dying, we're just going on a trip, phones exist we'll call you. It's fine." C.T said, picking up the bag again. "I'm sorry, but it's like watching your child leave the nest, and-""Bye Mag." C.T said throwing Esther bag into the back seat and sliding into the drivers seat. "Bye Connie!"

"I thought I was driving," Esther said, feigning annoyance as she climbed into the passenger's side. She wasn't thrilled C.T. had taken her bag, either, but, then again... Okay, it was pretty damn cute the way C.T. took care of her. But that didn't mean she would let herself be seen as weak! She looked out the window and waved at Mag, Jennie, and the others one last time before the car took off.
Esther pulled out the map she had prepared for the trip. "So it looks like it's kind of far, but we can make it in one day if we don't tire out or stop too many times," she said, leaning back and looking over the map. After glancing at C.T. in the corner of her eye and noticing something was missing, Esther glared and jabbed her girlfriend's side. "Put your seatbelt on." She returned her attention to the map, face slowly getting more serious. "So did you, uh, try to contact them or anything first?" she asked, obviously referring to C.T.'s parents. She had done a little research, but didn't want to discover anything important before C.T. had the chance to.

C.T shrugged. "You were moving slow." She said absently. As she started the engine, and threw the care into drive pulling off before Mag, or Jennie had a chance to say anything else too her. She settled onto the road glancing quickly at Esther's map too see if she was heading in the right direction. "I won't need too rest, so I guess it mostly depends on if you see anything that interest you. Our progress is in your hands." C.T said she was joking but it was kind of true, she could just tune the rest of the world out and just pay attention too the road if need be. She didn't know if Esther had that same trait. "But I don't mind stopping a few times, this is supposed to be fun right?" C.T asked with a shrug. She cast a glance over towards Esther who motioned towards her side, C.T looked down confused until Esther ordered her too put her seat belt on. "Yes ma'am" C.T said taking her hands off the wheel quickly too snap the belt on, whilst nodding her head too Esther's other question. "There was a number on the document back then." Then referring to when they were in Jacob's home office. "I memorized the number, I called. It went too voice mail," C.T trailed off, she was remembering the voice of the woman on the recorded message, she had sounded really nice. "But I didn't leave a message, ... I didn't know what too say." C.T finished honestly.

Esther nodded, having expected this answer. What could C.T. really say? It was a delicate situation. This seemed to Esther like something that couldn't be talked about of the phone, anyway. "How would you like to go about this, then?" she asked. They had talked about it already, but she had made it a point to give C.T. time to think it over on her own. Esther was happy to act as the sounding board--when C.T. was ready.

Part of me just wants to camp out and keep calling until they answer, but I think that's also the part of me that wants too run away and pretend I don't know they exist." C.T admitted too Esther as she turned onto the highway that was not far from the factory. "Honestly I think we should just show up. Knock on the door and when they answer just...." C.T trailed off, she wouldn't have the slightest clue what too do when or if they answered. "We'll.... I'll just tell them, I guess." C.T filled in, hoping everything would work out.

Esther nodded. This seemed like too big a thing to abruptly spring on someone, but, then again, it was almost too big a thing to ease into, too. Maybe being honest and straightforward really was the best approach here.
The closer they grew to their destination, the more nervous Esther became for C.T. She could only imagine what was going on through her girlfriend's mind. Esther thought about pointing out a few places to stop, like small tourist-y type things along the way, but she didn't want to prolong the anxiety. When they finally reached the town, Esther paid a lot of attention to the surroundings. This was, after all, supposedly where the love of her life had come from. It was a run-down kind of place, and Esther figured most of its residents had lived there for a long and witness its apparent steady decline. They passed factories, abandoned buildings... It wasn't dead, but it was somewhat silent.
"There it is," Esther said, pointing to the house as they approached it. She hesitated, then, turning to C.T., she said, "Look, baby, if you want to wait a day or something... like you need this to sink in or whatever... or even if you want to go in alone. Just tell me. We do this at your pace."

C.T mulled over Esther's question while she parked their car, sitting still leaning her forearms on the wheel as she starred at the building. "I can't wait any longer, and even if they don't know I'm out here, I doubt that they can wait longer either. This thing, it scares me, but I want too meet them, and I believe they want too meet me as well." C.T said, leaning back and popping the auto locks on the care doors. "And I can't do this alone, so please come with me." C.T requested, before stepping out of the vehicle, and approaching what could have been her home had her life not taking a sick turn. The mostly dirt yard surrounded by the off white fence didn't seem at all familiar neither did the cement steps of the porch nor the bench that sat upon it too the side of the door. There was a large mound of fur resting on the bench, and it raised it's head when C.T opened the gate, it was a German Shepperd, and a large one at that. The dog looked healthy, very healthy so that gave C.T some hope that despite the area they lived in, maybe her family wasn't completely dirt poor. C.T entered the yard before she really though of the dog and how it might have been trained, honestly it could attack her, but C.T figured that if she came this far just too get attacked by a dog, she might just go ahead and let it kill her. She'd be done with life. "A dog usually means a happy family right?" C.T asked loudly so that Esther could hear her, and so that the dog could register her. She of course was reaching, she had no clue if that was a saying or not. But she hoped that it was true, she hoped that she was walking into a happy home. (Got some stuff planned out for C.T family, hope I can make it fun.)
