Dr Sciurus
(We miss you too honey, but of course we understand. emotion_bigheart I'm just happy with any time of yours I may get, and you are always worth waiting for~ Wow, this is starting to look like a confession of love... OH SCIURUS, OH SCIURUS, WHEREFORE ART THOU?)

He huffed. Simple enough? I THINK NOT. I will murder Sam for this..., he thought to himself. But of course, he said nothing out loud, afraid that he would not get any help if he didn't behave. Speaking of which, why was he taking so long...? The man was a surgeon, right? This shouldn't take him more than a few seconds. You must be the worst surgeon ever, my friend...

"M-m-my friend...? I th-think so... He i-is... is a-a d-do-doctor, af-after all...", he mumbled, scratching his head. That seemed like a peculiar question, but maybe that was something all doctors thought about? though he could not recall being asked such a strange thing by one before... Then again, they usually asked stranger things. Come to think of it, this was a far more reasonable concern of a medic than 'Do you think I'd be tasty?' or 'Could you open your mouth? I just wondered what colour your tongue is.'

{xD Well at least someone loves him. /Picks up & huggles Sweet/Orrin/writer / & oui, I mean I'm glad to have something to do & I know everyone else has lives too but I kinda liked it better when I was riding the bus instead of getting thrown under it. Like tomorrow was my day off? Nope. Working 12-5 tomorrow. emotion_facepalm Eh, I'm poor, I need all the hours & monies I can get.}

The surgeon's dangerous smirk turned downward slightly. Of course it would be another doctor. Sadly Sciurus had omitted other doctors from his list of targets out of professional courtesy, but perhaps if Orrin ever got bored of them...? "Ah... Nevermind then. I'm supposed to play nice with the other professionals. You seem to attract us medical people like a magnet don't you?" There was a click as it finally opened from behind. "There, Freedom awaits. Much easier to strangle a person now, though pointless of course." Voyager sighed and gave the impression of rolling his headlights. "Oi, don't talk like that Doc. If you can't be a polite little psychopath, go sit in the corner. So stranglin' anybody."

(Ah, I know that feeling... D; I'm barely getting any hours at work myself, except for when they suddenly call and want me in on the very same day or something... It's like, you don't want to be doing them any favours, but you do need to work on your paycheck and take whatever is thrown at you. ^^" Hope things get better soon. <3)

"T-t-tell me about it...", he mumbled in a bitter tone. He was getting rather tired of them, in all honesty. Though they swore to make his life easier, they usually did more of the opposite. When the collar was finally off, Orrin rubbed his neck with a sigh of relief. It felt as if though he could finally breathe again, even though it had never been on very tight. Then his perked, hearing the slightly unnerving comments. "S-s-st-strangle...? But why w-would you..." He sighed. "Neverm-mind..."

{Feh, I get hours at work, Monday & Sundays are my only days off because of class & lack of buses, Wednesdays I work 2-9 & lately I've been working 12-5 everyday, Only make $8 an hour though. Thats A&P. Although the driver for 6 tonight was nice, we were chatting for a bit. & in the mornings except on Wednesday I see one of my favorite drivers. n_n
& apologies while I'm still trying to find Voyager another color xD all the tans seem too light.}

Sciurus held the collar out to Orrin, morbid humor sparking in his pink eyes. "I wouldn't, I have no reason to. Merely an attempt at humor, I assure you. Forgive me if it seemed genuine." "You should know by now, killing people isn't funny. Shinny collar though. You gonna go back and put it on your friend for a change?"

(TYPE ALL THE COLOURS! /brick'd Fun drivers is always nice~ I feel like I know too many of the bus drivers here though, since my uncle is one, my ex's father and an old friend of my parents. Even my grandfather was one. xD That sucks though, having your off days stripped away. D: )

Orrin glared at the collar, only now realising what the tag said. "Keep it...", he muttered with a frown. "I-it's stupid.." Though the thought of revenge was slightly tempting. However, with how clumsy he was, he would surely never manage. Even if he did, he might actually strangle his friend on accident, instead. And even if he did get it on his safely, Sam wouldn't have any trouble taking it off on his own. Insanely unfair... And why did he have to write 'Dummy' on it? Actually, why did he put it on me in the first place...? This is unusually cruel, even for him... Could he have seen the back of the mean tag, he would have known. Luckily, he was happily unaware. Or, maybe not that happy, after all... "M-maybe you sh-should wear it...?", he said to the Doc, rather rudely.

{lol, ALL THE BUS DRIVERS! /shot again./ Eh, I'm sure half the Beeline knows where I live by now though, between all the ones who drive the 5 & between the times I've had to walk... & 2 getting a little close for comfort earlier... twice... xD like that might'a gone bad if it was a double bus. I was getting out from work, turns out that bus driver was going home too after he finished taking us home xD & she came & asked before-hand if I could come in tomorrow, I said yes & apparently I'm covering for Deja. But it's not like just SURPRISE! Good thing is though I usually get days off when I need to ask for them : ) }

Sciurus studied the collar as Orrin declined. To hell if he knew what to use it for, the surgeon was far from the S&M type. The craftsmanship may have been high quality, but the practicality of it seemed closer to zero. "Pity.. I have no one to torture with it. Probably no sellable value." The surgeon stared at the zombie, arching a brow. Immediately through their connection, Voyager yelled in his head. IT WAS A JOKE SCIURUS. DON'T YOU DARE INJURE HIM OVER IT.

"Hm..." I am perfectly aware of that, thank you. Surely you should know that I don't slaughter people around me immediately. Instead, Sciurus smiled smugly, raising it before him to neck height until a casual glance down at it soon surprised him. "Funny, I don't think it suits me. I've seemed to run out of whips, and I have nothing to wear with it... Wait Orrin, there's something here, on the back."

(Oooooh, well that's nice~ As long as you're happy, I'm happy. emotion_bigheart ...This is starting to sound weird again, isn't it? xD)

The green guy failed to understand the joke about whips, which was probably for the better. Had he ever realised that this accessory, which was so forced upon him, could be considered to be kinky, he would have probably spent weeks moping in a dumpster, somewhere. "Hmm...? W-w-why...?", he asked, as if Sciurus would somehow, magically know. Then again, he did seem to know a lot of things...

{... No? o.O Is it supposed to be? I suppose it should be fine to be happy when your friends are shouldn't it? I'm happy whenever things are going good for you guys, & if things weren't going so good, I'd be kicking myself for being too far away to help.

Like I know we don't know each other & I swear I have no romantic interest whatsoever, but I'd kill someone if they tried to cause trouble for the bus driver I see in the mornings. I don't even know his name, but I consider him special. And technically owe him one And you guys too, I don't know you in person, but if I were nearby & someone did something to one of you, they'd end up dismembered in my trunk... sweatdrop

S: /Ducttapes his Writer's mouth shut/ We have business here. RP remember? Stick people in trunks on your own time, woman.}

Sciurus turned the collar the other way, holding it out for Orrin's examination and if the green man wanted it back. "There is a number here... Perhaps a code or map coordinates? Did your friend say anything when you obtained the collar?" Voyager peered with interest as far as he could. "Phone number Maybe? Who the hell would leave someone map coordinates? Or maybe it's the combo to a safe somewhere?"

(Oh, I know precisely what you mean! There are some people that simply mean so much to you, even more so than some you might know better. It gets especially strange over the web though, when you sometimes aren't sure whether to be worried or glad for someone who hasn't been around as much as they usually are. I remember a certain Prince giving me a near heart attack by telling me that someone hadn't used either their Gaian or Skype account in a while, and hadn't said much of why. xD DAMN YOU, PRINCE! This is why it's nice to know what people are up to, so you will always know that they are doing okay~ emotion_bigheart )

Orrin squint his eyes at the numbers, trying to make them out. He had most certainly seen them before, or at least heard them, as they were shouted at him over and over on several occasions. Though he had never managed to learn the number by heart, as his friend so often begged him to do, he would recognise it anywhere. With a frown, he replied. "I-it's... n-no-nothing... Throw it... awa-away..."

{xD heh, so good that I'm not crazy then. emotion_hug He almost let me ride free, that driver. I have the unlimited month pass, it was back when I first started riding the buses after mom died, & I didn't know much about them. But I was coming from school & the first bus was fine, I headed for the next bus home, got him & my card didn't work. I almost peed myself before I remembered I had quarters, but he said go ahead. & when I did put in quarters we started arguing xD I mean... He really didn't have a reason to be nice to me.

I owe him more though, because I... kinda got obsessed with finding him again so I could thank him, & through that I paid more attention & learned the buses better. xD Probably sounds kinda stupid but... oui sweatdrop }

The surgeon's curious frown pulled a bit deeper. Garnet eyes narrowed slightly at their green friend's sudden denial. "... Are you sure you don't want it? The messenger was clearly desperate at this rate." Sciurus glanced repeatedly from Orrin to the number on the collar to make a point. It also helped him study and memorize the number discreetly, as someone with Eidetic memory shines with numbers involved.

Voyager wasn't as interested as his motorist was. Orrin seemed uncomfortable to him, but it wasn't the van's personality type to try and pry or coerce people. The zombie probably had his reasons anyway. " 'With friends like these, who needs enemies' right? There's probably something we can do if you wanna get rid of it."

(That is so adorable! ; u ; I remember our bus drivers would often let kids keep the money, back when they still took cash. Always with a line the likes of 'Buy yourself some candy instead, that's a lot more fun', and with your parents sighing and facepalming behind you. ^^" Made many days of my youth!~)

"W-w-why are you s-st-staring a-at me like... th-th-that..?", he asked nervously, feeling even more uneasy by the minute. "Ju-j-just throw it... it away al-already...", he mumbled in return, somewhat annoyed. As he rather not discuss it any further, he simply slid past Voyager and threw himself over the couch. After all, he had walked for quite a while to get there. And looking at the Plymouth made him think of the comfy seats he must be hiding within, making the couch behind him seem even the more irresistable. "D-d-do real people even... have en-enemies...?", he asked, somewhat hesitantly. A strange question, perhaps, coming from someone who believed in cartoons...

{xD heh, I guess it is. Awwwwww <3 that's even more cute! Some of the drivers here are grumpy & scary, but some of them are nice. Ironically I see him everyday now : ) He drives the first bus that gets me to class.}

Sciurus merely gave a careless shrug, a small smile gracing his lips. "I simply wish to be completely clear on your wishes and instructions. Matters often concern life and death in my line of work. Since you haven't specified a means of disposal, I shall go with the simplest." He walked over to a step-top garbage can by the wall, waiting for any comments before dropping the collar in. "You want any food or something? Seems like your day's been rough." Voyager thought for a moment on the zombie's question. Not entirely a strange one, but the definition of "normal" had to be considered. "Hm... Technically? I guess not. I mean everyone has people they don't get along with, but 'normal' people don't really do much. Enemies are usually when people seriously don't like each other." "The term enemy implies a mutual disagreement on ideals, almost always leading to open conflict between the parties involved. Your idea of normal background people might not have anything like that, but some of them do Orrin. By our nature, we naturally can't always get along at first." "Way to keep it simple Doctor Complicated." Voyager seemed to roll his headlights again.

(It's like he has a secret bestie! Lucky guy~ emotion_bigheart I can almost imagine him wondering where you've went if you would some day miss the bus. "The Bus Driver, a story of love and friendship, where you least expect it.")

The entire speech only made his head hurt. And the only thing he really got out of it, was that Sciurus probably did have quite a lot of them, earning him such expertise. One thing he did get though, was a very simple, and ever so pleasant word. "Fo-food...?", he said, sitting back up, with eyes that seemed to suddenly spark alive. "C-c-can I have s-some...?", he asked, as if it hadn't already been offered to him, or as if though he thought that he might have been tricked. And for some reason, he was speaking more to the vehicle than its driver, as he thought that the car was making a whole lot more sense than the surgeon.

{ emotion_bigheart Well I don't see him on Wednesday. Wednesdays I need the bus before him to get all the way to Ossining on time, He probably knows that though. Ironically I didn't see him today, I was sick around 4am so I stayed home, no work no school... I wonder if he did miss me today? I know the bus cares, but I dunno if he would... Probably not, he gets a lot of other people all day /Shrugs/}

Voyager grinned at the sudden energy. It was good to see Orrin suddenly happy, and the happy was almost infectious. "Sure, what would ya like? You can have whaeeeever ya want... Except peanut butter because someone never has it." The van shot a look at it's driver. Voyager loved peanut butter.

Sciurus dropped it in the trash finally without comment. He chuckled at their exchange, Orrin's sudden attention and enthusiasm reminding him of children during Christmas. "We don't have any peanut butter because Voyager can't seem to control himself. But I can make you whatever you like Orrin, and If I can't, I'll find someone else to make it for you."

(No, I can picture it now... He's just sitting there, all day, driving that good ol' nus of his. But each time that he stops the bus to let people on and off, his eyes are wander off into the distance, as he begis to day dream about what his secret crush has been doing, while not riding the bus with him. Tragic, really. His heart is aching. Trust me, I'm a poet. I know these things. cool )

Orrin was simply staring at them, his mind drawing a total blank. He wasn't usually allowed much of a choice when it came to food, especially not when he was living on his on. Although, their little argument did nbring something to mind... "T-t-to-toast...?", he carefully asked. And with some slight hesitation, he went on. "Wi-w-with p-peanut butter a-a-and... and je-jelly...?"
