Michael smiled and kissed Alyssa back then shrugged his shoulers. "Not sure. Is there anything you wanted to do or go?" He asked her.

Alyssa shrugged. "Not really since we have school tomorrow" she said. "We could look for seashells" she said.

"Sounds good to me." Michael said and smiled then kissed her again. He then carried Alyssa out of the water and set her down.

Alyssa smiled and held on to him when he carried her out. "Thank you" she said when she was back on her feet. She was still embarrassed by her bruises and scars on her stomach but she tried not to think about it and look for sea shells in the sand.

He tried not to look at Alyssa since she was only in her underwear, but couldn't help but peek once or twice. He saw the scars and bruises on her and grew angry. Who could do that to such a beautiful girl? Shaking his head slightly, he picked up a few sea shells and showed them to her. "Hey babe. Look at these." He said with a warm smile.

Alyssa kneeled down digging around in the sand finding some nice sea shells. She turned around when he showed her the ones he found and she smiled. "They're pretty. I found these" she said and showed him. She smiled and went back to finding some more shells.

"They certainly are." Michael said with a warm smile. He went back to looking for sea shells. "Oh cool. Check this out." He said and pointed to a crab on the beach. He knelt in the sand and watched it for a little while.

Alyssa went beside him holding the shells and watched the crab. She smiled watching it run around on the sand. She sat down watching it and looking at the shells.

Michael watched the crab for a bit then went to back looking for more shells. About and hour later, he stood up and stretched. "Wow. How much time has gone by?" He said and chuckled then stood next to Alyssa.

Alyssa smiled having found a lot of sea shells. She got up and looked at Micheal. "I have no idea Mikey. What time is it now?" She asked. "Should we head home now" she asked him holding the shells they collected.

He glanced at his watch. "Its just after two. We don't have to head home quite yet." He said and smiled when she called him his nickname. "Do you want to head home?" He asked her.

Alyssa shook her head. "No I like it out here. It's so peaceful and relaxing. It's like an escape" she said feeling like there could be no one else around except for the two of them. She sat down on the blanket they had laid out for their picnic.

Michael sat next to Alyssa and smiled. He put an arm around her and held her close. "This is like an escape. Nothing to worry about. No one to bother us. It peaceful." He said then kissed her cheek.

Alyssa smiled looking at him. "Yeah it is" she said agreeing with him. She laid her head on his shoulder. She was glad they could have a day like this just the two of them, peaceful, relaxed. She wished they didnt have to go back but she knew they had to. For now she would just enjoy today..

Michael smiled as he held Alyssa close. He looked out over the ocean and smiled. He then glanced at her and kissed her cheek. He thought about the next day and wondered how Alyssa will be.
