*Theador smiled, "COOL!~" He knew more about connections to demons then his sister, "then that means i get mine soon too right?!" Now he was all excited as he looked paradioa who seemed to have this face ( 0 o ) "When do i get my demon!?" Pardioa hesitated, "... as far as i know... you dont." Theador pulsed and pointed as he looked to evilin, "i thought i was the only one that could have a connection thingy with a demon. At least thats what daddy explained to me." Pardioa's eyes nodded, "indeed... however i'm a spechal case... i was turned into a demon buy this box millions of years ago. Therefor after mistresss... your mother had solved the puzzle of pandora's box, my sisters trinket that got me stuck in here for all entinity..." he looked to theador ( - - ) "Be nice to your sister... by the way..." he continued, "i therefor now have a connection to the bloodline of decendent of her blood untill it fades and weakens and i no longer exsist." He chukkled in a hissss, "... i'm explaining this to kids... how did this turn out..."

Evelin puffed out her cheeks. "We're not dumb." She nodded to herself. "I kinda understand this." She looked down in thought. "Mommy told me about the.. Pando... Pandor.. Pandora's box thingy." She nodded again with a smile at being able to remember. "Mommy was clever." There was suddenly a light knock on the door as Evelyn half walked inside. "Shouldn't you two be asleep?" She asked with a small frown before noticing Paradioa in the corner. She couldn't help but snicker. "Aren't you a little old to be playing with children Paradioa?" She joked although did seriously wonder what Paradioa was doing in the room with them. To her knowledge she didn't even know Kiera was dead yet. After all she'd only just got back from a small trip with Colin. It was brief but necessary. She'd soon grow to regret that trip with every fibre of her being. But she didn't know that yet. "What're you doing in here?" Evelin looked over. "He's my demon now kitty! Go away!" Evelyn laughed unsurely as she leaned in the doorway. "Sorry kid but this old goon belongs to your mother." Evelin with the thought of her mother frowned again as she looked to the floor sadly. Evelyn rose an eyebrow. "What? What did I say?"

* Paradioas eye shifted to evelyn, then back to Evelin, " young missstresss you should gain some rest. Call if you need me..." he then looked up to evelin, " your the fool... guess you should walk into the room across the hall where you belong." He then dissapeared.

The dots started to add up slowly for Evelyn. But only slowly. "Young... mistress...?" She pulled a face. "What.. what's happened to Kiera?" Evelin went a little quiet as she let Evelyn have her revelation by herself. Evelyn slowly walked out of the room. "Just.. get some sleep guys.." She quietly shut the door and made her way to Shortstraw and Kiera's room. She didn't sense Kiera... what was going on? Something was seriously screwy at the moment. She walked into the dark room and realised it was the middle of the night. Evelin looked back to her brother and latched to his arm. "Can I sleep with you tonight?" She asked cutely.

*Theador smiled, "of course sissy I always like it when you do anyways." He got into his bed and made room for her. Seemingly too tired to carry on for his own demon, he would worry abou that in the morning.
Meanwhile Shortstraw was sitting in the dark still in the same possition he was in before, his head barried into his knees as he rocked back and forth. He didn't even relize Evelyn was in there, he was now lost inside his head.

"Sh-Shortstraw?" Evelyn whispered from the other side of the room. She carefully shut the door behind her and walked over to the bed. Being a cat, she could see clearly in the dark. And she saw the exact state Shortstraw was in. And no Kiera. Something very bad had happened. She decided for the moment it might not be best to ask him questions that ultimately would make him feel ten times worse than he already did. So Evelyn slowly climbed onto the bed and brought him into her arms, almost cradling him. In this action Evelyn also found out all that she needed to know. And her emotions threatened to overflow. However she'd always be the strong one and keep it in. She kept it held together as she tried to comfort Shortstraw the best she could. It wasn't much, but it was all she could do.
Evelin quickly climbed into his bed after him and snuggled against him with a held frown. "Do you think mommy will be back soon?" She asked innocently as she looked to him with her large orange eyes.

Shortstraw snapped out of it buy eveylns touch and latched to her tightly. His words were broken as he spoke softly, "i cant sleep..."
Meanwihle theador thought about and looked back to his sister as he pulled the covers over them, "to be hoinst sissy... becuse how daddys acting... im not too sure. But for daddy we should help him. I never seen him that sad like he was today. Even though he was deffently trying to hide it." He looked down, "maybe momma just needed time."

Evelyn nodded as she rubbed his back soothingly. "I'm not surprised." She let out a small sigh as she shut her eyes. "I'm so sorry, Shortstraw." She said sadly even though she knew it was hitting her hard too. She hugged him even tighter. "I... I can hardly believe it.."
Evelin looked to the pillow. "Maybe." Although part of her knew that their mother wasn't going to come back. She just didn't really want to believe it. Partly because she didn't understand it properly. It was painful in a way Evelyn hadn't felt yet. Like she was missing something she hadn't had yet. "Everyone seemed sad."

*Shortstraw sniffled as he softly spoke, "i know... I... spent the day with the kids..." He opened his eyes slightly to look out to the dark room, "they... they dont fully understand yet... but i tryed to tell them..." his words were slipping, "... i tried..." a tear flowed as he closed his eyes. "what... what am i suppost to do now? How am i suppost to make it though the night..." he now started to cry again, "how is anyone suppost to sleep... when we never got to say goodbye." Now it was full out wet tears almost soaking evelyns shoulder.
Meanwhile theador nodded, "yea... but maybe it's best we dont know." He looked to her, "Maybe we just need to help the others not be sad." He smiled, "we can make breakfast and cheer everyone up."

Evelyn rubbed her eye then put that hand on his head as she continued to hug him. "I don't think.. I don't think she'd want us to dwell... over this.." It was getting harder to hold it all back. Thinking of Kiera and how happy she'd been recently. How for the past few years she'd done everything in her power to make everyone elses lives easier. She'd tried her absolute hardest to be the leader that the kingdom needed, while still being there for her family. "She'll want us.. to carry on..." She started to slip a little. Oh how naive Evelyn thought Kiera was when she'd first met her as a small child. "I don't believe Kiera.... would leave without saying.. her own goodbye..." She started to sob.
Evelin nodded as she shut her eyes. "All right." She smiled a little. "We'll make them feel better."

*Shortstraw nodded, "I know... thats why she didn't tell anyone." He pulled back form there hug, "i tryed to get my mind off it becuse i happened his morning when i woke up... but then i came back here and... and I just cant do it. Last night we were so happy. She rocked my world, twice. And then i woke up to all this and..." he looked up and tried to wipe the tears fro evelyns eyes. "I feel so alone." He stared into evylens eyes for a few mients just then before snapping out of the pictures i his head as he latched to Evelyn again. "Today... was her brithday."

Evelyn shut her eyes. "Oh dear god..." That only rubbed salt into the wound. For a person to die on their birthday had to be one of the most unlucky things ever. Evelyn started to cry more fiercely as she thought over and over about the last conversations she'd had with Kiera. How unimportant they'd seemed at the time. Evelyn didn't even know what to say at this point not only to make Shortstraw feel better but herself too. When she opened her eyes she swore she saw a faint white silhouette standing by the wall before it quickly disappeared as soon as she saw it. "You're never alone, Shortstraw."

*He nodded as he wiped his tears away and tryed to get a grip of himself, "I know i have the kids. I have everyone here." He took a bid deep breath and closed his eyes. "Everyone has no choice but to move on. But forever on today will be the darkest of my entire life." He opened his eyes, "no one will ever replace keria in my heart." He tryed to let go of evelyn and stable himself as he swung his legs over the side of the bed and looked to the floor, "and forever more the pain inside will set and become heavy as each day passes on." He stood, however weakly as he fell back down almost ontop of evelyn before tryin to regain himself again. with a whisper, "i need to get out of this room." He looked to evelyn. He made a promes to be strong for keria. He was needed to try harder at it. However evelyn did make him feel better to the point he could at least get up, he knew once he walked out of this room, he would never be able to walk back in.

Evelyn nodded as she rubbed her eyes and cleaned her face of the tears that felt like acid on her cheeks. Evelyn carefully scooched to the edge of the bed and helped Shortstraw stand up properly and led him slowly out of the room. Evelyn looked back one last time and once again could have sworn she saw the white figure again, this time standing at the window and looking out. In an instant it was gone. Evelyn was going crazy. She shut the door and led Shortstraw down the hall to a different room. "We should start moving the things we need from here into the new castle tomorrow."

*Shortstraw nodded, "yea. But I dont know if i'll have my strieght back yet. Your probalby right though." He looked down and sat down. He looked for the time. It was only about two in the morning. Great. He still had time before it was morning. He then thought about it. Damn the one time he needed kirros abilitlys on him. "Evelyn..." he started, "i've been wanting to talk to you about moving into this roo ihave preset for you and your boyfriend... so when he's not around you still have us. I mean... i dont like him but, i know he means a lot to you so i'm willing to let him in and out as long as he promeses he wont hunt any of our familiy down..." he was going to make that a joke, but he was too sad to and it failed. "just... you know if you wanna. You dont have too, i want you to have your chance at love before... before..." he started to cry again, "before its gone for good."
