Lael simply shakes her head in reply to Arelen, tight lipped. She feels a bit pushed aside next to those who have had more time to study healing and are better equipped. But she knows that it is better for Darian to get proper care instead of what she can give him. Perhaps, if we stay long enough, I can ask Margem to teach me some of what she knows, she thinks.

The Mystic glances at the albino woman before saying, "Alright. I'll be right back with the water cup for your friend, Kitara."
After the redhead leaves the area, Kitara sighs, "I'm glad Lord Okalwa can at least help him a bit. I mean, that's why we started coming towards this village in the first place." She pauses then turns to Lael, "I mean, I'm not underestimating your skills. You helped him get this far. I'm sure that without your help, he would have fallen to the pain sooner."

Lael watches the Mystic leave, wondering why she was glared at.
"It's wonderful that he can. And don't worry. I'm really only a student. My skills aren't much. Maybe with a few more years...." She shakes her head. "But no. Perhaps I will be able to find another teacher after we have stopped who is destroying these villages."

The blue haired elf shakes her head saying, "Once Lord Okalwa and Margem are able to help him recover a bit, we'll be fine with Darian's fighting skills. I mean, he is known for his fighting, as all Moonleaf men have been known. It's like a legend that passes down through the bloodline, the fact that all Moonleaf men are tough, strong, and determined fighters."
She pauses for a bit before leaning back in the chair. "And, anyways, I think that Lord Okalwa would love to teach you, maybe even Margem helping tutor you. I bet both of them would love to help you learn the skills of medicines."

"Yes. He is an amazing fighter. Are they really all like that?" She smiles. "I would love for Lord Okalwa or Margem to teach me. Perhaps I'll ask them when things calm down."

"Yeh, all Moonleaf men are wonderful fighters. It's just the way it is," Kitara says.
She then smiles before continuing, "Margem may not be able to teach you as she is a true Okalwa."
((OOC: I leave that one open-ended so that you may respond, "Lael".))

Lael looks puzzled. "Why wouldn't she be able to teach me because she's a 'true Okalwa'?" she asks.

"The name 'Okalwa' is a Mystic word for traveller," the blue haired elvish lady says, smiling, "Margem's known to keep true to her last name as she is the most travelled of the family. In other words, I wouldn't be surprised if she left soon."

She shrugs, "More or less. Not as much as Margem has, however, because she's been around much longer than I have been around."

Lael nodds. "I've always wanted to travel. My entire life. I just never thought that what would allow me to do so would be like this. You'll... You'll have to tell me about some of the places you've been some time."

Kitara smiles gently before saying, "I'd love to tell you about my travels, though it hasn't been much."
The redheaded Arelen steps out of the house with a cup of water for Jay. She sets the cup down on the table by Kitara before seating herself. "Margem says that it will take only a few more minutes for Father and her to look over and take care of Darian's wound."

The Mystic sighs before saying, "I don't know. For some reason, I'm rather concerned for Darian... or young Mr. Moonleaf, as I have known him through my father. Maybe I'm only worried because he is a friend of the family, though."
As Jay flits to the cup, Kitara narrows her eyes towards Arelen. 'She can't be saying that because of another reason, right? If it is for another reason, I'm going to need to keep an eye on her...'

"We are all worried for him. But didn't you only just meet him?" It seems odd to her that someone could be so concerned after only just meeting someone, although she keeps this out of her voice. Remembering how Darian eariler flirted with her she thinks, I'll have to keep an eye on her, just in case. Realizing what she just thought she can't help but think, Gosh, this journey has made me skeptical. A few months ago I would have simply accepted the family friend story. But something seems off about it. Somehow I have a feeling that that's not the only reason.
