Chapter 125 is evidence enough to disprove your second argument. Kurogane, I think, is willing to do ANYTHING for Fai. He's now RESPONSIBLE for Fai's life.

Well, with the latest development on chapter 125. No one should deny the fact that CLAMP is making them canon. Many people have already considered Kuro and Fai canon. People with open minds would find that there is love between the two. ROMANTIC LOVE. I can't see how else they need to show that they are in love with each other. I mean, they are dependent of each others' life right now. Fai cannot live without Kurogane. And Kurogane had agreed to Yuuko that he will be "E" for Fai, which is a lifetime responsibility. There's no way these two will be torn apart, unless they both died, which is highly unlikely.
I've talked to many fans and they all agreed that they are canon. I think this is pairing is going to be official soon. I really hope so too! I LOVE KUROXFAI!

I really don't think Fai is "gay"... It's just he enjoys making Kurogane mad! Saying Fai is "gay" is like saying Mokona is too! And that's just wrong.... xp
