"I trust you will do well." She said nodding her head. "There are other things that require my attention. Reach me when you have completed your mission." She said turning around and walking away.

Kain wiped away the blood and renzoken that had developed around his knuckles – the blood contracted from the badly beaten man lying on the ground near death. ”Did you really need to be that brutal, Kain?” his dead eyes narrowed down on Kain through his mask, his head slightly cocked sideways like a questioning bird. Kain’s recent actions made him uneasy about his longtime friend, and feared the worst about what may have happened during their separation. “I’m fine. b*****d didn’t belong in here in the first place!” Kain stated, motioning his finger at the demon. He gritted his teeth, his eyebrows furrowed as he looked back at Avery from the sides of his eyes. Their dwelling had been ransacked by looters looking for one thing or another after the generals had left with Oni and everything went to hell. Literally.
Kain groaned as he stepped over the wreckage of their belongings, but at the very least he knew for certain that Avery and his’ armor and weapons wouldn’t have gotten looted. Rounding the corner into a study room Kain would smile at the intact renzoken floor. Heh. No imagination. Kain would think to himself before looking over his shoulder at Avery who made sure to keep his distance. “I told you it’d work.” With a grin growing across his face as he faced the study again, Kain would extend out his hands and motion as if he was parting the red sea. The renzoken would begin to warp and bend with his instruction and ultimately reveal a chamber hidden underneath which housed a surplus of weapons and armor made out of varying materials, but all containing renzoken in one form or another. ”I am not needing replacements of my weapons.” Avery would telepathically tell Kain, but there would be little to no apparent acknowledgement from Kain.
Looking back in the direction where they had both come from, Avery would pause a moment staring off into the distance as if he was in deep thought. ”I do need a replacement body. I will make use of the intruder.” Not even waiting for acknowledgement Avery simply started making his way towards the dying demon that Kain had left behind. The room was still rather dark, but the demon could be seen clearly in the room amongst broken belongings and trashed decorations. He would calmly and gracefully crouch down to the demon, gently brushing a hand down the side of his face. In silence he offered up a prayer for him for the atrocity that was going to be done onto him.
Removing his mask, Avery would lean in over the demon – his face was never his own, always someone else’s. The face of the angel he had taken was decaying at a decreased rate but the wear and tear on the corpse was evident. He didn’t need to dispose of it just yet, but better to have a fresh body when the opportunity arose than waste it. His body began to convulse as if it was rebelling against him – and slowly but surely from Avery’s mouth spewed out a green ooze that began to pool on the demons face and in his mouth. Before long the muffled screams of the demon managed to escape the ooze but fell to silence briefly after. Avery’s original corpse fell to the side as he took his dominion over the new body he had obtained.
A slow clap echoed throughout the building emanating from one of the many dark corners around Avery. Making his way back up onto his feet, Avery backed himself away from the presence slowly in his vulnerable state.
“I’ve never seen a Noumenon actually exchange their form before. What an interesting thing to observe!”
Enoch stepped out from the shadows which had embraced him, his cloak still keep him in the shadows in many ways. He did a slight dance as he slowly made his way towards the study to peek in on Kain. ”I have some good news for the both of you!” Enoch would chuckle as he raised his dark hands up as it was a sign of good will. His skin was pale, but it seemed as though just under the surface was a pitch black layer that gave it an almost unreal appearance.
”We found them, and as good will and to help you on your way we’re going to send you there. Now then, shall we begin?”

Cedar wandered aimlessly, not sure where he was. He had been battered and beaten in the last few days, and was now very weary and tired. Equinox weighed him down, though he could not risk putting them away. Not even his lightning power worked. He was at a serious risk both because he was heavily fatigued, and because he was powerless at the current moment. He sat on a nearby rock, winded, clothes torn slightly here and there. He looked around for any help possible...to no avail. He needed to rest, but he couldn't. Not yet. "How am I still alive...? Is there anyone here to help...?"He asked quietly aloud, not expecting an answer, but having a slight glint of hope.

Her ears twitch as she pinpoints the source. She leaps over to Cedars location with her attendant behind her. As she gets within his sight she stop a few feet away to examine the young man. He was clearly wounded,weak it would be easy to just end his life here,and get back to her training. However, Ren was in a curious mood and decided to speak. " Seems you've gotten yourself in quite a predicament. So helpless and weak. It wouldn't take much for any weak demon to come along,and make you a tasty snack. So what may I ask are you doing out here? " ----------

Cedar looked a little alarmed, not trusting her. He propped himself up a little to try and ease an escape if need be. "To be honest, I've just been trying to survive...I stumbled across this place a couple days ago, and I've been stuck here ever since. Equinox here has kept me safe, but I'm running out of energy..."He gestured to the gauntlets equipped on his arms. The blue and black design was very defining, though they were a bit scuffed up. "Tell me...do you aim to end me...?" He asked, not expecting a straight answer.

Ren was still curious as to why Cedar was here. Did he even know where he was? Ren couldn't even tell his race yet. She mockingly holds up her hands. " If that is what you want it can be arranged,but that is not my current objective. Besides if I wanted to end you I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of alerting you to my presence. Do you know where you are,and how you got here. " ----------

"Sadly, I don't know either...I very much wish I did."He replied to her question, still weary. He eyed her a bit. Definitely not human. He couldn't tell weather she was friendly, or was just toying with him at this point. He was to tired to care. He dismissed Equinox so he could breath a little easier. He sighed in relief as they left in a small blue flash. He focused back on her again. "What was your name again...?"

Her attendant keeping his eyes trained on Cedar just in case. Unlike Ren it wasn't so sympathetic to the mans plight. If Cedar moved against Ren it wouldn't hesitate to end him. " In the City of Hell I am known as the Negotiator; Shiroyasha Yōko at your service. Lucky for you I'm not at cut throat as most demons around here. If you wish I could get you patched up,but you'll owe me one " she bows and the waist slightly and smirks. ----------

"At this point, what other option do I have? It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Cedar Young. I'm an inventor, as well as a musician."She seemed nice enough...cedar stood as best he could, and offered a handshake. he nearly fell, having scarcely any water for days. He smiled somewhat at her.

At least the man had some manners, it would be much of a hinder acne to keep him around. Might even prove beneficial to her plans. " Small world. I happen to tinker and sing myself. I'll take you to my home and see about getting you fixed up. " her attendant places Cedar over its back securely. Both Ren and her attendant glow silver and begin running toward thier destination. ----------

"Impressive...what are you...? I've never seen something like this..."He watched her as she ran. There was an aura of grace and elegance about her, though he couldn't put his finger on it as to why she was being kind. She was indeed a unique creature, though. And above all, they were similar. That was something he could work with.

"Amazing!! Is that palace yours!?" He asked, awestruck. Such a place only existed in dreams and fairy tales. The fact that he was being brought to such a wonderfully built place was impressive in and of itself. But the question remained....what were her real intentions? She was very generous to help him.

Cedar silenced himself, as not to be rude. He nodded at the attendant. "Where to now?" He asked. He stretched a little, relaxed from the quick trip thanks to the attendant. He looked around the elegantly structured palace, looking starry-eyed at the architecture.
