Parker "You should've at least called me to tell me to rein in my kid, not make a decision for me and submit my child to the insanity of a crazed criminal that could escape your grip and cause him harm!" the lawyer responded, only to feel his sleeve tugged. Looking down, he raised an eyebrow at his son. "What?"
Parker crossed his arms. "Quit yelling at Detective Waltz. He didn't let anything happen to me and was really cool about it all. Stop being such a jerk don't you have paperwork to do, old man?"
"Watch your mouth, brat."
"Wouldn't need to be a brat if you'd stop being an idiot." C24641Sighing, Sawyer just shook his head. "Don't let it happen again, Waltz. Next time, just ask for me to bring my son to my office." He grabbed Parker's elbow, tugging him into his office. "And you, young man, are grounded until you die." Sawyer

Ellery Advimi Ellery simply nodded, then started for the door. " Oh, hello Cameron!" he greeted, blinking at the small blonde boy. Who was this? Hell, even he looked older than this spring chicken. Oh wait, this must be the new chief! " You're Cecil Tealy, right?" he asked, smiling and holding out his hand. " It's nice to finally meet you, sir."

In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Cecil leaned back when he saw the kid approaching them, blinking when he addressed him. He paused. It was rare to see people that addressed him as his title instead of someone's son! And to say sir! He already liked this guy. " Uh, yes. Who are you?" he asked while shaking the boy's hand, although he was already sure he knew who this was. This must be Detective Waltz's son! Ellery AdvimiHe laughed, sounding almost like a bell. Unfortunately for Ellery, he looked even younger when laughing. " Doesn't Detective Waltz talk about me?" he asked, shooting a playful(?) look in the man's direction, then looking back to Cecil. " I'm Ellery. Maybe that'll clear things up." He hoped that helped.

Cecil Tealy Cecil only gave Ellery a blank look until Cameron ruffled his hair. "That's Freddy's partner." he explained, making the chief tense up. This was the detective's lover?! He looked back and forth between the two. That intimidating and silent man with this bundle of joy?! No, there had to be something more than just that.

Ellery AdvimiHe nodded happily. " You too, sir!" He shook Cecil's hand with both of his twice more, then let it go to take Fredrich's arm. " I came to check on Fredrich here, but he's so terribly ill, I'm taking him home. Is that alright, sir?" he asked, green eyes large and almost adorable beside his massive lover. It created even more of a contrast between the two.

  Before Cecil could answer, he noticed the detective already gone. When he looked back at Ellery, all he saw was a cloud of dust. He stared at it in bemusement for a moment longer before feeling a vein throb at his head. That buffoon!
Cameron, however, laughed heartily. "Who would of thought Freddy could move that fast, eh?""YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"

Parker Ellery blinked as he no longer found himself in front of the nice, but short police chief. He looked up at the man taking him away. "Jesus, are you that eager to go to bed?" he asked, decently sure that it wasn't the promise of him and Daniel making him dinner. For someone this hungover, it was only natural they were desperate to go to sleep.
Sawyer walked over to the police chief, arms crossed. "So what's on the agenda today?" he asked, his headache subsiding, but his stomach still gurgling. Ellery

Cecil looked at Sawyer. "You just continue what you're doing. Today's more a court heavy day than investigation, so most of the detectives and officers are helping get evidence examined and taken to prosecutors."
"Hey, I've been meaning to ask," Cameron said. "Are you taking any cases? I don't know if defense lawyers even can work with us, but there's gotta be some reason you're here, right?""YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"

But I still am allowed to look at other cases, check over evidence, I can even take a case so long as I do it pro-bono and get it done before I go back to New York." He gestured over to his desk. " I also got handed about fourteen from the firm before I left to look at and ensure that they were handled correctly.
