Raven Kanzaki I've been terribly sick lately. Mostly cardiopulmonary issues. Since I work as a translating cashier at a gourmet specialty store, it's been insanely busy at work with Christmas and New Years coming, hence the above said issues. I'll also be visiting my family by train this coming Saturday, and I'll be bringing my laptop with me, but my replies will be delayed and sporadic, haven't seen 'em in a few years. I return on the 4th, and things should settle in by then and posts will be more regular.
I hope everyone enjoys themselves! Looks like we all survived Rapture, which is a good thing cause I told mom I wouldn't open my presents until Christmas and I'da been very mad if we all got wiped out before having a chance to open them. Translating cashier? What is that?

I translate for customers who aren't comfortable or don't speak English. We have a lot of people from Europe and Asia that like to shop there because it's what they're used to when it comes to looking for specialty item foods.

Oh, I had a thought it meant something like..exchanging currency for foreigners. lol Neato. I only know two languages, though English is better than my second language since I don't speak it as often.

I'm sorry, I got a second job for the time being. And unfortunately I was only given two days off in an entire month. I'm as close to dead as humanly possible. Between the two jobs that is. Only had off Christmas day and a Friday (which I gave the shift away). Starting next Tuesday things should slow down dramatically and I'll be able to get back on my feet.

Ugh why does itunes make it so hard for me to transfer my music from ipod back into my library. I hate having to resort to sketchy 3rd party software. -_-

Another assassination attempt from my room mate has left me incapacitated. One harmless-looking hot dog has ruined me for now.
