Making another attempt at the Inari minipet, Aedan was glad that he wasn't a hunter....otherwise this might just be embarrassing (his lack of skill...)

In spite of visiting this particular booth very early on in the festival, it took Thackery a long time to feel up to coming back. What if that shirtless horseman with his distracting shirtlessness was still here?
Thankfully, there were more minipets here than he remembered, and those were way more distracting than naked chests. He immediately kneeled down and tried to coax some to him with scareling-talk.

These minipets really did not like being called 'really cute' and 'fuzzy wuzzy', for some silly reason. Thackery leaned back onto his palms and tried to devise a much more clever plan.

Deciding to make one last attempt at the creatures Soren had around the booth, Aedan hoped his luck would improve...even slightly.
Success! Looking at the game rules, Aedan grinned. He wasn't sure whate exactly he'd be getting, as his prize, but he'd at least won -something-...

Thackery had it.
He'd just pounce them. They'd never see it coming. And he was already on the ground, after all, so it made perfect sense to perfectly transition into this.
For whatever reason, it didn't cross his mind that his natural form was much better at pouncing prey than this humanoid visage. He looked a little silly trying to pounce like a real dog, falling all over himself.
The minipets were not impressed.

All of that hunting was pretty exhausting, so Thackery found it very convenient that there was nice, refreshing tea nearby. He downed it in one quick gulp and offered it back to the horsewoman.

Gulping down all of that tea in one go might not agree with Thackery, judging from the wave of oh Jack this was a terrible idea he was feeling, but minipets ALWAYS did. Or he liked to think so, at least.
"Aw, are you playing a little game?" he asked, leaning down to look at them. He closed his eyes and played along, guessing randomly. It turned out this game was a lot harder than he'd originally suspected.
