"Are you not familiar with it?" Rachelle's hand slid down Nexxus' forearm, fingertips following the crevices into his skin. Those fissures spread further as she went down, as if pushed by her hand. "This might be slightly more, though. Beyond pain, what awaits you at my side is nothing less than death. Don't you think it inappropriate for a knight, the Lady of the Purge herself, know of a curse to make blood flow, when our opponents know no pain, and when the content of their veins has long since turned to sand?"

She marked a pause. "Does it hurt?"

"No, I am not." He murmurs, focusing on his arm where the lacerations went. His eyes would blaze, exploding with that mist, though this was not black, but a murky, misty yellow. It would writhe upward from his head, as he focused. The shadow would remove itself from Rachelle, wrapping back around the limb, forcing the cuts closed, and sinking back in, attempting to return his flesh to normal.

"Death does not exist, for me. The Darkness is my Life. The Darkness exists, where the Light Exists. With Light, There is Dark. While you exist, I exist. And even if you cease to be so, there are others with the Light... And then you have the most physical sense, in which we have yet to be able to eliminate perminantly."

If the arm continued to split and fray, the darkness would continue to wrap around the arm and attempt to seal it.

"Everything, is so very new. I have only existed, since the Void felt I was needed. I have been alive, for but a few hours."

"Gvur Tialla."

Nexxus' skin was normal again. No pain, no scars, not even a trace of main. In a blink, the only remains was the blackness that had escaped from his arm instead of the blood found in natural creatures. Not only the curse, but the fatigue was gone. Like a whole night of sleep along with a hearty meal and a warm bath had graced his body in the instant that had passed.

A feeling of complete, utter peace of mind.

"We fight for death, and the light it shines upon the mortals. It might be something ridiculously foreign for a being new and eternal as yourself ..."

"Committing death... That, is not alien to me. Darkness is in death." He'd smoothly rise, easing her from his grasp to her feet, standing her up and smiling to her.

"If you'd excuse me, I think I'll get us one of those agents to question."

Nexxus would stoop to kiss her forehead, neatly, and then turn and walk right through a wall, one of those purplish tears in time-space.

-----

... And he would come from the shadows surrounding the wire-handed man, a bout two feet behind him and to the left.

He would say nothing as he brought his hand forward, aiming to grip the 'droid by the neck and rend him backwards, back into the shadows. If he succeeds, He'd reverse his appearance, sending himself and the android back into Rachelle's bland, bland office.

The android was in too much shock to fight back, and even after he examined the situation he was still shocked and kind of digusted as well.
Was that really necessary, sir? I wonder if all of the people of barton are this xenophobic?

He stood up and then started to dust himself off, and prepared to introduce himself by shaking his hand, but he would be shocked if they tried to bite it off the way things were going. He tried to smile in order to make himself appeare calmer then he actually was, and was hoping for peace between them.

Rachelle's flesh was surprisingly cold under his lips ...

When Nexxus came back with a guest, Rachelle had stood up and was on her way to the back of her desk. A sigh escaped her lips as she sat down. Her eyes raised to look into the androids, and she gave him a welcoming smile. "Please forgive sir Nexxus' hasty actions. Your ship obscuring the stars is quite an impressive sight, and it seems to have put numeros people ill at ease." Her hands joined under her chin as her tone changed, from warm and welcoming to genuinely curious. "Are you some sort of machinery? It seems you are neither alive nor dead ..."

I guess that all really depends on what how you define alive, but yes I am a machine. We've never seen real land before, so we were just going to look around. The android replied with a look of concern in his eyes that seemed remarkably human. He then realized something he had to introduce himself.

Uh, I would have introduced my self, but I haven't decided on a name for my self yet.

He would have sweated with those words if he was capable, but he was obviously not, so he had always wondered what it would like to be a biological life form.

Nexxus made no apology. He had not been violent, though he had man-handled the other. He met Rachelle's words only by walking acrossed the way, to stand infront of the door, three feet infront of it, feet shoulder-width apart, arms crossed over his chest. Guarding the door.

"Looking?" He asks after the android finishes speaking.

"You weren't looking. You were adding to the enviroment, as I saw it. Explain that."

Okay, from now on, post order is Akira, RS36 and me. Let's stick to it. =o

While Nexxus' manners were somewhat crude, to say the least, Rachelle could only admit that they were straight to the point. She decided not to take part to the exchange unless the android took offense. Nexxus had brought him in the office, thus he was his guest. Still, the office itself remained Rachelle's.

Silently, she let her eyes wander along the robot, a half-smile on the lips.

I fail to see the logic one can't not add or subtract the enviroment for it has many different interpretations, and each of those is really up to then opinion of the invindual to decide whether something is benificial or not, so there is no definitive answer to that statement. If you mean physically, the impacted dirt remains a part of the landscape and we left it the same as was before, nothing is lost. All measurable levels remain the same.

The android didn't know what to except of these people, so he wasn't surprised and was wondering what they were going say next, so he stopped talking.

"Your hand. You were making something. Stop beating the bush or I'll box your ears. Or whatever you have."

The man was, in fact of point, ominous. He wasn't tired anymore, he was gung-ho. A beast on a chain, tugging at it, but not enough to snap. He was hungry, and the android was a threat. To Barton, to The Purge, until proven otherwise.

Rachelle says nothing.

I skip! =D

Yes, on my cellphone I was playing a game. He said trying to tell the truth, but at the same time get the conversation over with as quick as he possibly could because he had alot to do today.

"You have no name. You've never seen real land. Yet you have a Cellphone."

The man would bear forward hard and fast, hands making to grab the man's neck again, aswell as his left arm, bearing him a full circle, if his grapple is made, before slamming him into the floor, a knee in his back. Nexxus would apply force to the arm, pulling it by the forearm. His strength was impressive. His voice would be tense, hand on neck pushing the man's face into the floor. His lips were right next to his ear, and the barrenness of that room could not hide the echo of his words.

"Stop lying to me, Or I'll rip you limb from limb, until I get the truth."

If the grapple is evaded before the man can be placed on the floor, Nexxus wouldn't speak these words.

Rachelle's lips moved. Inaudible, not even a breath, simply forming the word "protect", and in the instant that followed, golden light gushed in a column around the nameless robotical being's feet, raising to the ceiling silently. Nexxus' fingers would lose nearly all momentum and strength upon entering the light that was acting as a cushion against physical harm.

"Enough." While soft, her voice reached every centimeters of the room with uneasing strength. Something not commonly expected from an adolescent. "Nexxus, if you seek an engagement, you will do so outside of these grounds."

As she talked, she kept her attention onto the android. If he attempted to fight back in any way, she was ready to protect Nexxus just as well.
