Miyuki giggled at that, "I'm sure we can ask Ninako about it. Though Iorlas thinks you work too much."

She didn't add that Iorlas thought was unhealthy.

"Shiro.... I've know you my whole life....." Miyuki murmured.

Granted she didn't know him that well when she was a baby, but she didn't remember much from when she was a baby so he had traveled with her most of her life.

"And you're always with us except that one time when we went to Amon Darthir... if this is you not working so much, I hate to see how much your work back in Gaia."

Lin couldn't help but laugh at that, "Yes, I know, but at least on this trip we get to stay there this time."

She was looking forward to that, even though the reason why they weren't there was less than ideal, just that small glimpse of the city made her want to go back.

Miyuki grinned as she looked over at her brother, "Caras Galadhon, that's Luk's home. We were only there for a few hours, it was a detour. So we're going to go back there to explore and learn all about it... and to explore the continent that it's on."

She really looked forward to that, because then it would be really new! Of course that would make all her journal entries harder, because she couldn't just ask the adults to supply some additional information for her writings.

Lin nodded, "That is right, they even make music boxes and some other luxury items using clockwork."

Which was unique to Caras Galadhon right now, only because in the Four Lands it was normally large gears and used for purely work.

"Amon Darthir is an island that has some mountainous areas and a lot of forest," Miyuki explain, "The weather there is a lot milder than anywhere we've traveled. Even though it does snow in the winter, it's only a light dusting and doesn't get really cold."

She played with the hem of her sleeve as she thought more about the area.

"There, the elves there called themselves Sky Elves because their fighters ride on giant birds called rocs and a lot of their culture centers around them. They also, until a several years ago had always been fighting against some sort of creature... that part I hadn't paid attention to when I was little, but that makes them great fighters. Not that other places aren't as great, but you know... what a place does a lot often is what they're really good at."

She hummed a bit more as she thought about it.

"I bet that means they probably have the best weapons out of all the places we've traveled so far. Anyhow... They all have red fire hair like Aethos and freckles, and unlike the Light and Dark Elves where they can have a wide variety of Gifts, all Sky Elves can summon fire and that's it... oh yes... there is one little language thing that isn't found in Common Elvish. They use a suffix to denote Prince and Princesses, but I never heard of one that denoted a King or Queen. So you would be Andarien-sola and I would be Miyuki-sol, for example."

She blinked some more.

"I think that's it, well unless you want me to get into the history. I have a funny feeling when I was littler a lot of things passed me by, I'll have to fix that."

Lin though looked at Miyuki, because she was pretty sure that was far more professional, and more extensive than the report Miyuki wrote when she was little. Granted she was little back then.

She forgot, they hadn't had seen a snowy winter since Andarien was born (well technically her brother was born in the spring). Miyuki had to pause and think really hard back to some really old science lessons.

Finally she replied.

"I don't think I'd be able to explain that well enough, ask Shiro to give you the scientific explanation on it."
