(Order)

Tsui didn't want to hear any of it. Not from Kallichore, nor from Pasiphae. She had been within seconds of striking Valhalla again when Kallichore had touched her, and only a faction of her rage was quelled at the sight of her bloodied friend. What little rage she let go had turned into guilt, and she did nothing to hid the emotion from her voice as she tried to argue with her. "But... Kalli, I can fight. And I will fight! I'll avenge the ones they killed today!"

But Pasiphae had taken the option away from her, and as angry as she was, she could not argue or fight with Pasiphae's demand, not without pushing Kallichore away and hurting her. Tsui gave a spat, flashing a heated glance at Valhalla before reaffirming her grip on Kallichore and pulling away so hard that she almost threatened to pull Pasiphae along with her. She had no words for him here, and she only hoped that he survived the encounter so that she could follow up with that blow later.

"Come on, Kalli... we'll get you someplace safe..." Tsui said, not too hopeful that there was a such place but keeping this doubt to herself. She kept her eyes and ears open, looking for someone, anyone in the Order faction that could help Kallichore's wounds.

[CHAOS ROLL]

A smirk cracked wide on Ares' face. She was getting to Polaris -- in more than one way. She was more defensive of this clueless knight than she was of the senshi who had just been rescued and brought to the Dark Mirror Court. Adding that to the way the knight was attempting to stand guard... well, it sang soft spot to the strategic senshi.

"I could always force you into salvation and then order you to kill him," she said. "Or, if you come join us willingly, you could personally see to his protection -- think about it, Princess. You could rule the senshi with me. We could save our entire race. You just have to make the choice."

In the midst of her latest attempt at persuasion, Ares nearly missed the uttered incantation from the other princess. Her eyes narrowed. "Did you--" The chandelier tinkled as it soared toward Ares. The Princess of Smoke turned to dodge, but she was not quick enough. The chandelier caught her on the left side, tearing up her dress and gouging long, deep gashes across her leg and arm. The impact sent Ares slamming into the far wall with a thud.

The chandelier fell abruptly, crashing onto the ground below and hitting any unfortunate enough not to move in time.

Ares herself was not far behind, crashing to the ground. She staggered for a second, swore, and then bolted upward -- but not for Polaris. It was a blur of blood and wings as Princess Ares fell straight to Knight Niflhel. Before he could react, she slammed a clawed hand onto his neck, drawing blood. Her other hand stashed her staff across her back so that she could secure both of his hands behind his back.

In another second, she rocketed upward once more -- but stayed about 20 feet away from Polaris on a beam far away. "I was going to play nice, Polaris," she said, with a snarl. "But then you had to go and throw a second chandelier at me." With a grunt, she jutted her arm forward, releasing where she held Niflhel's arms so that she could dangle him an arm's length away.

Her hand squeezed so tightly around his throat that only the thinnest trails of oxygen would be able to get past his lips.

"Join us, or he can die. You leave me no choice."

Gray eyes narrowed. And she waited.

"Take care of her," Chaonis said to Pasiphae, very serious, very quickly. It was a slight distraction from his fight, and it would cost him, but he took the moment deliberately. "And you."

If anything happened to either of them, this whole place was going to know what real Danger was.

He got smashed in the face after that, or rather in the side of the head, and it sent him stumbling sideways. He was dazed, disoriented to say the least, stars leaping up in front of his eyes and then darting away in a baffling manner whenever he tried to focus. He was not going to be taken down with one punch though.

"Nice hit," he said, grinning as he turned back to Remarque. He charged again, this time focusing. He threw a few punches all at once, aiming now to land as many punches as he could as quickly as he could. If he couldn't win with raw strength, maybe he could beat the guy down bit by bit.

He heard a big crash nearby, but he wasn't going to take another chance getting distracted again.

[chaos, hourly]

Momentarily unassaulted, General Howlite reached into one of the many pouches on her belt, a starseed finding its way from her waist to her mouth as her mask momentarily retracted. She forced herself to crunch through the pain and was rewarded with a rush of chaotic energy. The pain subsided, at least to a reasonable level, and she took a slow, steady breath to clear her thoughts, settle her body.

Assess.

The battlefield was examined. Her forces were still outnumbered, but effective. They were giving everything, and if she was capable of pride, it would have flooded her being. Instead, she was filled with resolution.

Even then, glass and metal showered down from above as a chandelier came crashing down, and the blonde smacked away some of the shrapnel that soared too close. Her dark eyes moved up, to catch the stand-off above.

Holy Blasphemy

Oh crap is right.

"Hello, stranger," Leto hissed through clenched teeth as she scrambled to throw a punch at Pomona's face. "Can you tell my face as healed real nice? My knee too!" She grunted as she was shoved off of the girl she had pinned under her.

She pushed herself to her feet and put herself into her trained battle stance. This time, Pomona wouldn't be so lucky. This time she wouldn't have Albireo to help her. And if she did? Well, Leto had back up.

Leto's body shimmered back into existence when her 30 seconds was up and she flashed a grin at Pomona.

"Oh, and I've got these awfully fancy buttwings now." She spat blood to the side and waited for the other girl to get up. Debris and glass falling from the ceiling to the ground around them.

She had been lurking, just watching and waiting. There were too many people here that she had been…well, maybe not too many. But Acubens was here, and she didn’t want to look like the bad guy in her eyes. Not again. Not yet. Lesath watched the various fights going on, and tried her hardest to keep her boots out of the little blood pools that were popping up everywhere. She pursed her lips as she watched two…knights, she figured. One looked like Camelot…at least he looked old and had a shield, so she was assuming that’s who it was.

The Dark Mirror senshi glanced to the one that they were fighting and saw a girl holding her head as though in pain. Well. This was interesting…maybe she needed some assistance.

The girl made her way over to Howlite. “Do you need any help over here?” She didn’t know this negaverser. Didn’t know anything about her. But, they were connected by the thread of chaos, so she was…she should honor the treaty that they had, right? The negaversers were their allies. And they were in this battle together.

She was just... giving up like that? She wasn't even going to fight him? Just spout some jibberish about how he was a monster and how she'd never be part of their side. Yes, he was a monster. The remorseful side of him mourned the death of the senshi, mourned that she couldn't have been brought to the truth. But Albireo's cowardliness... hell the entire White Mooners' cowardliness, tipped him over the edge. Why should they have such a hold on this damn planet when they'd destroyed their own!? Why would these infernal magic wielding idiots be so blinded that they swore that he only way to protect themselves was to gang up on others and force their 'good will' down people's throats. Enough, was enough.

He stalked up to her and pressed his hand to her chest, but not into it. "You honestly want me to rip out your starseed, because you've given up? Are you so deprived of anything good in your life that nothing, nothing will keep you here? So I ask you, do you honestly want me to rip out your soul?

Because by the Negaverse I will do so.
" He jerked his hand up and caught her in the throat with a shove.

"But screw you if I'm going to appease that death wish today."

He’d only ever used his attack on youma before. Never on a human. He’d never wanted to. Even now he didn’t want to, but this boy was hurting Kallichore and he had to do something to stop it, and he couldn’t very well jump in and attack because there were too many people around and he wasn’t a fighter in the first place, and Kallichore was bleeding and looked on the verge of passing out, and he just… he had to do something.

He had to.

The sound was horrifying. Youma reacted similarly. If they’d already been smacked around enough, it was usually enough to dust them, but he’d never… he hadn’t thought… he hadn’t even wanted to… and now this…

Ganymede stood in shock and listened to Benitoite’s cries, watched him fall to the ground and writhe, and all the while there was screaming. Too much screaming. It rang in his ears, loud and chilling. He thought he was going to be sick. He’d never hurt someone like this before. Youma were easy. Youma were nothing—meaningless, mindless. Their groaning bothered him when he used it, but then they burst to dust and were gone. He didn’t have to stand around and see. He didn’t have to hear for long.

This was a person. This was a normal person beneath blue cloth and a gas mask. It was a violent person, yes. Ganymede had no delusions about that. The General had been hurting Kallichore; he had no doubts that he would have hurt someone else if he’d had the chance. He might have even killed them. The Eternal senshi was sure some people would even say the General deserved it.

He didn’t think so.

No one deserved that.

Ganymede took a step back, the General’s screams ringing in his ears even after they were gone, even after the other had swallowed… had swallowed something… something that gave him strength, that made him formidable again.

Around him he could still hear the sounds of battle, other shouts and screams, running, violent noises he’d never in his life wanted to hear. He could see Valhalla, Kallichore, Pasiphae, and Tsui. He could hear them speaking, he could hear the General speaking, but none of it registered.

None of it made sense.

None of this ever made sense.

In the tension of battle, Kyanite was still managing to have a conversation. Perhaps this was her special skill? It was much better than fighting. "Mimistro...bell?" she repeated, sounding it out. She also made note of the name of the boy who had saved her -- Remarque -- and of the one who had healed her -- Virtus.

Sure, she maybe sucked at fighting, but she could still help. Yeah! "If he helped me, I feel like we should help him. I can just follow your lead." Back on her feet, Kyanite held her electrical cord in her hands. She wasn't sure what she could do with it, but with other Chaos fighters at her side, she felt a lot better about taking a dumb risk... mostly.

...and then she realized that her call of triumph had been a little too late. Her new friends were already back in the fray without her. Swallowing the lump in her throat, Kyanite ran off to a hiding spot nearby. She could at least keep an eye on them and then just step in if they really, really needed it, right?

Remarque had not expected anyone else to interfere, though given his luck today, he really should have just gotten used to it. Leto, he had accepted. She was of the same power level as him—and a skilled fighter. Val, he had not rampantly complained of, but that was only because the Squire had prevented Chaonis from getting close to him.

This, however. This was Mimistrobell. The girl he was supposed to be protecting.

And he wasn’t going to stand by and watch Chaonis kick the s**t out of her.

Remarque considered Chaonis to be a very equal opponent—for him. Mimistrobell, weaker, smaller and with a fighting style far less powerful than Chaonis’ was just asking for trouble.

He glanced at Benitoite, gave him a quick look over, and seemed surprised that, despite the scream, he wasn’t looking too bad. He had missed a lot of what was going on, only knew that it looked like Kallichore wasn’t up for fighting anymore—and he suspected that Benitoite could handle his own.

For now, at least. If the s**t hit the fan, he could always come back, but it was hard to make sure Mimistrobell stayed safe when she was hurling herself at who Remarque considered to be the most dangerous Senshi around.

The crashing of chandeliers made him ever more uncomfortable, and though he had no idea what was going on, he knew that he did not want to be around if his only role was to take damage. Which Chaonis was so excellently providing.

Distracted by Mimistrobell, he’d taken both the first and second hit before he had time to even prepare an attack of his own. And then he was flinging a volley of blows, spurned by anger and a desire to just get out of there. There were a hundred other Senshi he could be fighting, and Chaonis was clearly not a good idea.

He wouldn’t call it a retreat, just a good idea. Besides, Mimistrobell was going to get herself killed.

Remarque didn’t count how many punches he threw at Chaonis—or how may he took. He punched and shoved until he had put a bit of distance between them and close enough to Mimistrobell to grip her by the collar and heave her back. “Uh, nope, we are not doing this right now,” he informed.

He did not give the girl time to respond or protest before he yanked her away from the senshi and disappeared into the crowd. "--What happened to staying where you were safe?" he asked, leaning on her perhaps a bit more than he wanted to admit while he strained to catch his breath.

Adrenaline wasn't doing so much to numb that pain anymore.

Howlite happened to be one of the main liasons between the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Court, but that didn't mean that they all knew her face. In fact, she primarily spoke to Leto. The blonde's attention was drawn, briefly, away from the Powers That Be above, down to a curvy dark mirror senshi [Were they all that busty? It really seemed like it. Then again, Howlite appeared to be one of the only female soldiers with her skin covered...].

"Just a headache," she intoned, her dark eyes shining bright. Visor spattered with blood, pale hair streaked with red, and covered with debris, Howlite was not in the best condition... But she was still standing, still conscious, and more than capable of finding. That was more than some could stay.

This girl, however, didn't appear to have a speck on her. General Howlite raised a brow. "Been staying out of trouble, hm?" It was said neutrally, even with a touch of good humor, but one could never be sure with a General of the Negaverse, especially when you couldn't see most of their face.

Valhalla remained standing between Tsui and whatever else she might think was a good idea that wasn't. She was a decent person... he couldn't let her get her hands bloodied in a fight like this. No, he didn't think murder was ever right, and he would never try to protect those who did it, but Remarque wasn't their problem. Benitoite, though... he was dropping lower and lower on the list of people Valhalla felt inclined to stand up to protect.

Ganymede got to him first, of course, and the squire stared in horror at the effects of an attack he'd only ever seen used on a youma before. But the General seemed to be recovering quite quickly... his energy back up and the screams he'd just released only an echo in the past.

But his first concern after Kallichore getting to safety, was Ganymede. He looked like he was in shock, not knowing what to do or what to say... just standing there... And that was much too dangerous for his liking.

He ignored the look from Tsui, too concerned about Ganymede, Kallichore, and Pasiphae to care if she was angry at him. He didn't expect her to 'thank him later', but he did hope that she would take the time to reflect on her actions and what could have resulted had she followed through.

For now, he left Remarque to do whatever the hell he wanted to do, hoping that the other eternal senshi, Chaonis, was going to be able to handle himself, as he crossed the space to where his boyfriend was standing, quickly wrapping his arms around him and ushering him away. Standing still was too dangerous. He would carry him if he had to. "Breathe," he demanded softly, using his shoulder to try and block Ganymede's line of sight to... anything in the room.

He still had his hostage when Ares suddenly found him. His eyes widened, she was too fast. He gasped when she drew blood from his neck. Ares was threatening him, his hands moved to her wrist that was holding him at arms length.

He could feel his heart in his ears as he tried to keep from gasping for air. His eyes narrowed. Hoping that Polaris would let him die before she joined Ares. There was one chance, one thing that might cause her to drop her guard... And he wasn't above using it "Hail, Nehelenia" He whispered to Ares smiling.

"But...BUT..." She looked up at Remarque though her mask and goggle. Mimi smiled cheekily at him. Of course, it would have been better 'safe than sorry' moment for the teenager, but of course, teens just... Don't listen sometimes. "Safe does get boring after a while." She grinned at him, knowing that he definitely wasn't happy.

Mimi was at least glad she got Remarque out of trouble. "Yeah... There was definitely too much testosterone in the area... And the fact that Mr. Butt-wing already got his butt handed to him a few times by girls..." She was pretty sure that the eternal DMS, even for his rank, he was probably tired out like no tomorrow. "Well, I think Virtus can help heal you a bit. He did help Kyanite.

Calling to Virtus, Mimi half-dragged Remarque away from the problems that seemed to LOVE to surround him. "VIIRRTTUUSS... I found Remarque and I think he needs some help from you!"

There seemed to be someone small headed towards them, but Mimi didn't give much attention. She kind of just kicked the small senshi away and kept walking. Mimi did hope the small one wasn't dead, but at the moment, getting Remarque some help would make her feel better.

Chariklo didn't remember hurting this much before her fight with Juno. Shoulder, stomach, face. Everything was aching. What she needed was a little dose of Heal from Virtus, if she could manage to find him before this shindig was up.

Still, all pain was forgotten as a shattered chadelier fell tot he ground, sending out bits of sharp, twisted metal. Chariklo covered her head as best she could with her arms and hunkered down to minimize any damage. But she could still feel cuts opening up across her back and shoulders.

WHen the metallic rain ended, she glanced up and felt her jaw drop. There was her Princess, her Queen. And from the looks of things, her attempt to be the bigger person hadn't come off so well as one might've hoped.
