+ Spiral Shot: When in revolver form, James can fire a shot that spirals around, twisting and turning as it heads towards the enemy, making it night impossible to deflect. If it is dodged, it comes around again for a second pass.
+ Scatter Shot: When in revolver form, James can fire a large shot that breaks into many smaller bullets just before it hits the enemy, peppering them with multiple hits.
+ Death Shot: Channeling his full resonance force, James can fire a massive blast that detonates just in front of an opponent, sending hundreds of shards of resonance force, like cut glass, spraying in all directions.

Blake had sent three blue flying slashes at her and Rosa knew she had to act quickly. They sliced through the air gutting into it like glass. This allowed the slashes to move quickly with little to no resistance. She wasn't quite sure how to dodge the slashes, she had no time to think. Dodging the first one seemed easier than she thought. Shifting to her left dodging the first, jumping backwards to the second and ducking for the third. While she ducked her hair followed behind her as it was not as quick as she. The third slash cut only a few strands of hair as it passed. Reya stood up quickly onto her feet and glared at Blake.'It seems his attack so far are for long distance. As well as ours.' She thought to james and wondered how she could end the fight. She wanted James to switch forms, but she knew it was too early. Reya had to be patient, if she wasn't it could be a mistake. She had to wait for the right time and right moment. Doing it now could allow him to change his techniques as well.'Well if it's a long distance fight he wants, lets take it from him.' she thought to her partner and ran towards Blake. Just before she was within punching range she jumped over Blakes head spinning around in the air and landing on her feet right behind him facing his back. She lifted her free hand back and extended on her pointer and middle finger, before preforming a jabbing motion. Rosa aimed for a pressure point in his arm, hoping it would work.
Juliet had taken a seat from the edge of the sparring arena. She was almost getting ready to sit down, but realized there might be some ricochets coming from the fight so decided to stand if she'd need to dodge. Max on the otherhand stood a little further away from the arena, with headphones covering his ears. He wasn't all that interested in the fighting itself, but thought that the fight might give some nice inspiration for a new song, so he decided to try and observe their rythm.
Few words and looks were exchanged between the fighters just before they rushed to attack each other. "Um.." Juliet was kinda shocked that they started the fight before establishing any rules. She had been thought sparring in martial arts which had a lot of rules, so "free-kind of sparring" was strictly forbidden. This made Juliet think twice about how she should act in her own fights.
This wasn't the only surprising thing in the fight. It seemed that Blake was capable of ranged attacks too, opposite to what having a sword implies. "Well, that's not really normal.. atleast when your weapon isn't a person?" Juliet thought, wondering what his background was. This also made Juliet wonder if she and Max should come up with somekind of ranged attacks too, but the idea seemed really absurd and strange to her. Blake's techniques weren't the only unexpected ones, Rosa was also rushing into a melee range with a strange stance she didn't recognize. Something Juliet didn't expect to see her do.
Both of them just made Juliet realize how you should never judge the book by it's cover. If Juliet had been the first one fighting, she would've been totally unprepared for this. Watching this fight happen just made her realize how seriously and how prepared she really should be. This was kinda intimidating, but only in a motivating kind of way. She had totally underestimated the skills of these three infront of her.
James watched as their first attack was deflected, slightly annoyed. Fortunately Rosa was dexterous enough to recover from Blake's return attack. When Rosa told James that she was going to take the fight short distance, he wasn't sure whether or not that was a good idea. Blake was surely capable of close-range fighting. Still, perhaps Rosa was good as well. They had only had a short time to see each other's combat abilities so James didn't have a good feel for how well Rosa performed close range. He didn't voice his concerns to Rosa, considering she was already in the middle of the action. Second-guessing someone while they were already implementing their plan was almost always a way to make things worse. He watched patiently through the reflection of the revolver to see how things would go.

Having little time to react, Blake managed to escape the pressure point jab. The pain from his wound started to act up as Rosa's attack made slight contact with his wound. Stabbing his sword into the ground, Blake moved to counter Rosa with a strong punch. Basaltic Fist. Hopefully he'd figure out how to beat her quickly.

Reya was happy to see that she made slight contact, but she knew she missed. Her Jab wasn't successful but she knew she was apply to get him off guard. For a few seconds it seemed he was confused, until he counter attacked. Luckily she anticipated he would do so and easily dodged the punch.'James gun blade now!'She knew James would do so quickly, she already put in the swinging motion. She swung a few centimeters too short to give an Illusion to Blake. Making him think that he had missed her attack. Rosa smirked when she made eye contact with him and spoke."Sever."The blade would then extend when james would preform the ability.

James was pleased with how Rosa's attack had temporarily blindsided Blake. This was going to be more fun than he thought. As soon as she commanded, James flashed into his gun blade form. The blade gleamed wickedly as it extended from the gun. All Rosa had to do was say the word, and she did. James focused his resonance force and the blade suddenly extended, almost instantly covering the gap that Rosa had pretended to miss by and then some. James grinned in the reflection of the blade as it came towards Blake. "Get some," he said quietly, not to anyone in particular.
Blake's eyes gained a cold gaze as he watched the blade extend toward his midsection. He moved slightly in order to evade getting impaled. Then, before they could swing once more, Blake grabbed the blade as it extended past him. Blood began to trickle down his hand as Blake's grip on James intensified. He motioned for his sword as it levitated into his hand. Bad move. Blake's wavelength spiked violently as bright sparks jumped across his body. Soul Menace - ThunderGodz... The electricity engulfed the blade jumped as it made its way to James, and in turn Rosa.

James watched impassively as Blake grabbed his blade. "I don't think so," he said as Blake's wavelength spiked and bright sparks jumped across his body. James realized from the sparks that this was going to be some kind of electrical attack. As the electricity shot into him, James instinctively focused his wavelength to send as much of the damage as he could to Rosa to avoid taking damage himself. He grit his teeth through the attack, taking relatively little damage from it due to his diverting it to Rosa. Because he was relatively uninjured he was immediately ready to counter-attack. "Soul Pierce!" He yelled. The blade at the end of his gun launched with incredible force straight towards Blake at point-blank range. It would be enough to impale him.
The fight was getting more and more intense by every second. Maybe even a little too intense.
It was becoming more visible that James and Rosa weren't that accustomed to each other. Juliet's opinion was that they should've stuck to ranged attacks and force Blake come closer instead, with a gun they obviously would've had the upperhand. This is not to underestimate Rosa's close combat skills at all, no she seemed perfectly able to do that too, but in close range she didn't have a upperhand. But she did seem to have some cards up in her sleeve..
Max was still tightly observing their movements too. Every swing of blade added a certain kind of sound into his music and every step added more beats to it. Every battle has a certain rythm and Max was a master in reading that. Ironically, it's much easier to read more experienced fighters moves, because they are easier to anticipate to be honest. People not experienced in fighting tend to do unexpected moves and mistakes, which mixes up his composing quite a bit. This one was one of the latter ones, not so much because they weren't experinced in fighting, but because they seemed to have a totally different objective in this fight.
You could sense the tension getting thicker in the air, a little too thick. James proceeded to use a.. blade? Which was a surprise on it's own, but they also didn't seem to hold back at all, going all out and trying to pierce their opponent. Juliet was kinda shocked about this and gasped outloud when Blake grabbed the blade, he really didn't have to go this far in a sparring, but it did kinda show determination.
A lot was happening in a really short time and it was really hard to predict what would happen. Just when it seemed that one of them had the upper hand, the other one threw another ace from their sleeve.
But this was starting to look less like sparring and more like fighting. Sparring was to get stronger, fighting was to win and the want to win usually got people hurt. Juliet took a better stance, not to avoid, but getting ready to interfere if the fight seemed to get worse. Max also noticed the spike of aggressiveness in the rythm of the fight, so he took steps closer to Juliet.
Blake's eyes widened as James redirected the shock of his attack toward Rosa in order to save his skin. Blake let go of the blade so Rosa wouldn't get as much damage as she could have. . The anger on Blake's matched the intensity of his wavelength as his soul began to swell up. The force around him was quite violent as the gravity sharply intensified, causing any around him to buckle under the pressure. The blade James shot at him slowed just enough for Blake to parry it into the ground. He aimed his blade at the two of them in anticipation to their next attack.

Blake was fully prepared for her attack, which disappointed Reya. Blake had on to of the blade of james and sent electricity towards her. Reya didn't know what to do, either take the shot, which could surely damage her heart, or drop James and he would take the blow. Her mind was quickly decided and she knew that she couldn't make someone else take the damage for her mistakes. James had thought other wise, she felt him change hes wavelength and took most of the shock, though not all. Rosa had received some and her arm was shocked mildly. 'Damn it.' She thought, knowing this would just make the healing process on her cuts take longer. To her surprise James was able to attack on is own. Blake dodged his attack by parrying into the ground. Rosa stood silently and looked down at the blade. Rosa knew now, that james was no ordinary weapon. She started to get a bad feeling and wasn't sure if she wanted to continue with the battle."Should we continue?"She asked James. she knew that they could use Soul Rounds perfectly in the situation, but she wasn't aiming to kill the boy. She started to reconsider Blake's motives to fighting as well.

James frowned slightly as Blake barely dodged his attack. This was getting frustrating. Several different strategies were running through his head, but he was quickly snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Rosa ask him if they should continue. "What...?" He asked, looking up at her through the reflection of the blade as if she had spoken in some foreign language that he couldn't understand. "Of course we should continue! He's still able to stand up!" He looked back at Blake, his resonance force spiking in response to Blake powering up. The strange, icy feeling in Jame's wavelength returned. It was less intense but it didn't go away this time. "A Scatter Shot or two at point-blank should change that!" James added, grinning at Blake through the gleam of the blade.

Rosa was displeased that James didn't understand why she asked about quitting. The strange old feeling came back. The same feeling she got before when they resonated souls earlier. It scared it and she hesitated to say anything. Then James spoke again, in more of a deeper tone."James!"She snapped at him. She couldn't believe that he just said that out loud."This is a sparring match! NOT, a battle. I am not killing anyone today."She then did someone no miester should do when battling, she let go of her weapon. She allowed James to drop to the ground, knowing he would most likely transform before hitting the ground anyway. This was a side of James that she had never seen before. A darker side that she did not understand."It's over."She said coldly and walked in the direction of Juliet and Max, looking at the ground. Thinking about what had just happened, and where that coldness had came from.'Did that come from James?'

James flashed quickly as Rosa dropped him, landing on his feet in a crouching position. He didn't take his eyes off Blake as he took several steps backwards and out of sword range from him. "Rosa! What are you doing!?" He glanced back at her, turning his arm into a gun-blade, pointing it towards Blake though he didn't pull the trigger. "You're leaving us both wide open!!"
When Blake's soul wavelength spiked, Max was getting ready to transform, but Juliet stopped him. "No, not yet", Juliet said quietly. She had noticed the doubt in Rosa's eyes, the enjoyment of the sparring vanishing from her face.
Rosa and James started arguing about how they should act and the tension of the battle vanished for a minute. The subject wasn't anything to be happy about, but Juliet was still proud of Rosa when she put a stop to the fight. Juliet had a concerned look on her face, when Rosa started walking towards them. "You-- You did the right thing", Juliet made a half smile, but still her eyebrows were pointing upwards. Juliet wasn't good at handling emotional situations, they made her quite awkward really, so she pondered if she should hug Rosa or give her a handshake?
However, the situation wasn't over yet. Actually, it might've just gone worse since James refused to back down from the fight. "James, please, just--", Juliet tried to talk to him in a soft voice but was interrupted. "Stop it", Max ended Juliet's sentence, but much more firmly. Max's expression was one of who was looking down on someone, but that was quite normal expression for him to have.
None of them knew how Blake would react to this situation. If he was someone who would let this go or just be more provoked James's actions. Juliet was hoping Blake would just let it slide, but he didn't know him nor his background. Juliet glanced behind her to check the distance between her and Max, just in case.
Give me realse let the waves of time and space surround me...
