Not knowing how well this whole deal was going to go, Kuro let the haymaker go and could only hope for the best. The best didn't happen, but it was definately positive in his perspective. The strike hit, if only barely, which caused the lid of the lantern to raise up and just let a glowing orb escape and get drawn to him. Not wanting to risk anything more, Kuro backed down and took an observation of what was going on. It seemed that everyone wasn't too impressed with what was going on, and all wanted some type of revenge against this monster. It seemed that this specter wasn't too ready for the assault from the students as he could only move the lantern out of the way of one of them. In retaliation, he ended up swinging the ghastly container at the one who initiated the assault. The strike hit, but it didn't look that hard as the female Inuzuka was only grazed on the shoulder. One particular part though was that a green orb ended up going back into the lantern itself. These orbs must have been important if the specter's lantern re-gathered them. Waiting for an opening with his classmates, Kuro decided that he'd best try again in hopes to rid themselves of this being. Quote: 50+[17(5)-15(15)]/10=50-14=36-5=31 Jynn's bared his teeth into a fierce grin as he felt his inner reserves of chakra pouring from his limbs. Or so he thought, anyway. In reality, the energy in his body was flowing as normal as it could have possible been. It certainly hadn't kicked up a small breeze like he thought; his hair was just affected by the blowing wind the battle before him. All in all, Jynn was standing there like a dope trying to be cool. Even his 'wolfish grin' was more lopsided and silly than it was intimidating. But none of that mattered to Jynn: he was going to fight against the devil that tormented him for so long. In his mind, he was going to bring the Warden down, with the help of his classmates. Even if it was the other way around. With that said, Jynn rushed the specter, the boy bringing his fist up to his head. He closed the distance with a flying leap, swinging full force at the thing's head. Jynn's eyes widened as his arm passed through Thresh's face, the boy's body following right behind. He went through the ghostly body, overwhelming cold washing over the boy's very being. He landed in a roll behind Thresh, and rose. His face looked sickly, and his body heaved one big shiver. If he even did anything to the demon, he didn't know. Quote: Oh wow. Loric held out his hand as the blade returned to him promptly. From the looks of things the warden had definately felt the attack against him but there was no way for him to be sure if he was doing any real damage. Watching on as the rest of his classmates waged their own attacks against the Warden, Loric couldn't help but feel as though he was barely able to put a dent in the enemies defenses. Frowning, Loric began aiming the chain yet again. Quickly he twisted it above his head and began to twirl it around, all the while he could feel his body tipping lazily back and forth, conflicting with both his vision and his balance. Just being in this place made him sick to his stomach, but even worse the smell of death and rotting flesh was still as present as ever before. The blow to his senses made it very difficult for him to lock onto the target to do any real amount of damage. However, not one to be shown up, Loric launched the bladed chain once again at the warden in hopes of finally defeating his foe and returning life back to normal for him and his class mates. The blade from her ride hand collided with a satisfying clang which drew three more of the strange little spheres from its depths. Shiro popped her neck and cracked her knuckles as she spun around to face towards the Warden once again. Her fellow class mates whom she had failed to get to know during the month that this hallway haunted her followed up and attacked as well. She watched as each other classmate attacked. Her strike had drawn three of the little orbs from the lantern, her other class mates had drawn, well, less than that. She furrowed her brow, that was how it had been the first strike she had landed on the specter had drawn the most orbs from the lantern, and he chose to attack her directly. She smirked and held her humming spirit blade at the ready. It should hold then that he would be striking at her once again. Sure enough the huge monster wheeled around and faced her, the sunken eye sockets glowed with the same empty nightmarish stare as the Warden moved on towards Shiro. She narrowed her eyes lowering her stance some she was paying tight attention to every movement, she wasn't going to be caught off guard this time. "Bring it, scare crow." she growls defiantly. Shiro jumped over a swing of the lantern sneering down at the glowing skull of the Warden as she landed on the ground and back flipped away from a follow up chain attack. She confident right now, perhaps a little over confident. The chain attack was a feint as she dodged it the Warden seemed to fade from existence. He hadn't vanished, he had simply moved so quickly that he vanished from plain sight. Shiro could feel a disturbance in the air near her as she tried to right her failed strategy however it was too late. The Warden suddenly became visible again as his boney fist struck out and hit Shiro solidly in the chest. She let out a gasping yelp as his attack landed heavily. The strike sent Shiro careening through the air before she hit the ground and proceeded to bounce and tumble across the ground all the while four little orbs escaped from her body to swirl and return to the lantern. At first Shiro was entirely out of control stunned from the strike she had no way to react, however as she tumbled she regained her center and threw her hands out the blade howling from her right hand dug into the ground and slowed her to a stop. She pulled herself to her feet and breathed slowly she was still aching from the fight with the desks and now this. She growled some swinging her hands out to her sides. "You... Piece of s**t." She snarls before spitting some blood on the ground. She rolled her shoulder around again and popped her neck once more. She rubbed her chest lightly and sneered again. Her eyes scanned the room looking at her classmates to see if she could decipher what they were thinking, what they were planning. Her ears perked and her eyes returned to the Warden as she heard the chains let out a clanking sound. Her eyes widened for a moment and instantly locked onto the lantern, he was... holding it in his hand? was he actually holding it? Was the lantern, a thing? She blinked slowly forcing herself to focus past the slightly older dull aches, and the newer sharp throbbing pain. For a moment Shiro looked to her right hand summoning up the glowing spirit blade once again. Her brow furrowed. Did it matter if the lantern was actually physical or not? She had grabbed what looked like a ball of ectoplasm, a little will-o-wisp, and it became this... sword. If that beast was somehow powered by that lantern, or... something to that effect. Then if she could gain dominion over that lantern... She should theoretically be able to shut this all down in an instant. She tensed her muscles and launched herself at the Warden in a full attempt to take the lantern not just strike it. Mood: Extremely Happy
As soon as the small orbs absorbed into his body Takuya backed off once more, taking the opportunity to observe as the others attacked. As he kept careful count of the orbs it seemed like the Inuzuka girl before her had been doing the most to the specter, but was also garnering his aggression. He watched as a relatively heavy blow glanced her shoulder a smile plastered on his face. “My turn!” He chimed with a slight laugh, leaping forwards and attacking ruthlessly, despite his cheerful expression. His body moved with deft and sure movements, his heterochromatic eyes trailed on the lantern with an intensity and glee that seemed almost offsetting. His cheer and his power were an odd juxtaposition, and one that was odd on the usually stoic boy. Although it was debatable that he could be called stoic anymore, his moods changing quicker than the hours. “Ready or not, Here it COMES” His voice, although happy held an edge to it, a slight growl behind them as he brought down his fist, confident in his abilities to hit the object that currently held his attention. For Takuya this was more than just a test of his abilities, it brought him an inhibited glee, and one that was not shielded from his temporary allies. 3491 + 218 = 3709 PC: 55+ [[60]5 +50 – 15[13]]/10 = 70 Takuya’s Souls: 15/12 + 6 Final Soul count: Takuya: 21/12 Thresh: 7/30

Everyone was starting to get into rythem now, as one by one strikes were being made to the lantern. The question though was how much effect was it having on this creature. There's an odd fact surrounding spectors, and that is the only emotions that they show are ether anger or a twisted and messed up version of glee while torturing their victims. Normally these emotions would be at the same time, so any visual ques on if they were weakening were imposible to observe without any outside help. Knowing that everyone here were academy students how every, it was very unlikely to find someone with that type of skill here at the moment. Ether way though, there was a task at hand and if they were to get too distracted something nasty could happen without them truly knowing. Unfortunately for the fox-girl, it had to be her that it happened to. Kuro watched as the strike landed with a loud thud and forced her to bonce away from the combat area. Kuro took a few steps towards her, but then stopped looking back at the monster that wasn't letting up in this fight. He wanted to help her, but knew little healing... heck, it was even less then his combat skills which were very few to begin with. Instead Kuro waited for another opening. He soon got it as Shiro had already sprung back up into action, and soon after that Takuya was heading in. That's where he would attack, carefully trailing the more experienced combat orieneted student kuro would wait for until the moment where Takuya would attack this ghastly creature. That was when he'd try use the other boys momentum to catch it off guard and strike it once more and then afterwards maybe see if the little fox-girl was alright. Panting in frustration, Loric tugged on his end of the chain, causing the blade to return to his right hand. Landing a solid blow on the ghoul was becoming increasingly difficult. He wasn't at all trained for this, he had spent most of his time nose first in books, studying exactly what to do in a real mission but this was something entirely different. There was no mission, there was no instruction, just a deep need to be the hero while having absolutely no idea how to go about doing so. To make matters worse, that smell had returned in full force, sending his senses into a crippling state that made it hard for him to even keep his mind focused on the battle. Every part of him wanted to simply curl over his attempt to shield himself from the awful order that reminded him of nothing but death. Biting his lower lip and shutting his eyes, Loric pulled together what strength he could manage before blindly releasing the blade towards the enemy. From the sound of the blade clunking against the wall told him that his attack had clearly missed. Opening a single eye, Loric fought against himself to remain standing and continue this battle. Rather he was of use or not, he still needed to be on his guard less he be unfortunate enough to take the second of the Wardens damage.

While add the RP in about an hour or so Shiro:+5 Souls Jynn10-5=5 Souls Metal sliced through the space Jynn's head used to be, the young boy just barely dodging the Warden's chain. The blond rolled away, diving under one of the many desks in this classroom from hell. Like every other class room, then. He thought to himself. He took a moment to calm his breathing, waiting for his beating heart to slow down at least a little. Until then it was nothing but a constant pounding in his ears, a nice bass to the melody of fighting. The ringing of steel and exploding battle cries were nice sounds. They meant that none of them were dead. Yet. At that moment, something fell on to Jynn's head. Something thick and sticky. He lifted a hand to his hair and examined the goop. It suck to his fingers and it was fairly warm. But it was clear. Jynn craned his head over his shoulder, his face pale as he had an idea as to what it was. The boy was greeted with a giant glob of saliva landing on his face. He quickly wiped the mess from his face. Upon reopening his eyes, he was greeted with a row of sharp teeth, snapping at him from the bottom of the table. He watched as a sharp, crimson tongue shot out of the mouth and waggled around. Jynn's face went green and be brought both feet to the wood, kicking the desk off of him. The demon table went flying, just as Jynn went running. He was up in time to see his classmate, Shiro, take a blow from the Warden's chain, leaving a gash across the body. But, instead of blood, little blue wisps flowed from her body. Among all of the fighting, Jynn ran to her and, without much thought (like usual), he pressed his hands to the gash

The blond's arm gave the sensation that something was tugging on it as the light flowed from his hand. Immediately Shiro's 'gash' lit up and shrunk down to a thin line. Jynn's legs trembled for a few seconds before they gave out and he fell. The boy landed on his knees, and this hands. He was breathing heavy, sweat forming on his brow. He wasn't entirely sure about what happened, but it suddenly felt as if he had run a great distance. He looked to his arm, the limb feeling degrees colder, but it didn't last long. The sensation of needles traveled up from his hand as he slowly lost feeling in his arm. He was so focused on this feeling that he didn't notice the shadow forming in the floor, mixing with his. Not fast enough, anyway. A wave of cold ran up Jynn's spine, and he suddenly remembered words from his prayer. “Cling clang, oh the chains,” he muttered, slowly rising up and turning. “The Warden's right behind you.” Jynn stood, looking face to face with the Warden. The undead jailer started down at the boy, his skeletal head being licked by white-blue flame. Jynn met the stare unflinchingly: he knew what was about to happen. There was a blur of grey, and Jynn was being suspended by the cold steel of the Warden's chain. A gruff chuckle escaped from Thresh and the entire chain was covered in the same fire. The flame's engulfed Jynn, and he heard himself screaming despite himself. The seconds felt like an eternity before he was released from the chain. The body fell to the ground with as much grace as a bag of trash. Jynn lay on the floor shivering, his entire body cold and numb all at once. Quote: Fail. 1(??) souls Jynn souls: 4

Shiro lunged at the Warden aiming to remove the lantern from his hand, however her trajectory fell short as the Warden lifted the lantern at about the same time as her lunge, and so her attempt missed entirely. She hit the ground at the other side tumbling past the Warden to land on her feet. She slid back and clenched her hands into fists. She jumped slightly when one of her classmates, which one was it? Jynn, she was pretty sure she had heard his name was Jynn. The exact same one she had entered this area with a dire suspicion of. Her lip curled momentarily to start to growl, but he did something rather unexpected she felt an extra warmth radiate from his hand which he was holding over her arm, the gash from her earlier fight with the desks apparently. She watched as a blue glow radiated from his hand, the gash in her arm healed up substantially, but the odd part was there was an obvious transfer of those little spectral orbs, same as those they had been claiming from the Warden. She smiled wryly, still feeling quite a bit antisocial, however this gesture lessened her current distrust for Jynn. Shiro however didn't really have long to think about this as the Warden's chain came sailing in a wide arc across the room and swiped Shiro away from Jynn in an unceremonious swat, one of the little soul orbs drifted from her back to the lantern. Shiro hit the ground fairly easily, it was plainly not a targeted attack. She gathered herself up and looked back to where Jynn was and saw the attack that the Warden used on him, she furrowed her brow and pointed to her haunted desk. "You, cover him he looks hurt." She commands the desk which grumbled before going to stand near Jynn. "Don't kick the desk..." she adds clearly addressing Jynn that time, though she wasn't sure if he would hear her considering he rather looked a mess right now. She narrowed her eyes and scanned the battle field, this back and forth, she wasn't sure how well it was working. She clenched her fists and looked back to the Warden. She looked at her hands and thought about trying to strike again, however as she thought about it she opened her hands, she had failed to take it the first time but... maybe. She nodded and rolled her head some loosening herself up before dropping her posture. She waited for the Warden to turn so that she could clearly see the lantern before taking off like a shot. Mood: Somber As his fist collided with the lantern and explosion of small green orbs surrounded him, flitting across his skin before settling in. He could feel the chill of them, and it almost invgorated him. Smile long gone Takuya looked towards the warden, watching as all of them took their turns launching a flurry of attacks at the creature. It seemed that no matter how many blows the group landed, he persisted. It was certainly frustrating to say the least. As they backed off for a moment to regroup, the specter took this opportunity to swing his lantern around in a wide arc, hitting every single one of them. Takuya's shoulder was clipped by the iron object, and a singluar orb retreted, fleeing back into the lantern he had freed it from. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Jynn force some of the souls from his own body and into the inuzuka's girl. It didn't make much sense, Takuya could put much better use to them, but then again Takuya did not need any help. He could do this himself, without others giving him souls. As the girl launched herself at the Warden again, Takuya prepared for his next attack, bringing his fist back and close to his body in hopes that he would deliver a crippling blow to his opponent. Another strike, it seemed as though Kuro was actually able to help in this situation. There was a feeling of waiting to help the injured female Inuzuka though, just like last time he paused to look over in her direction to see how she was fairing. It turned out though that Jynn was already over there lending a hand. With her being looked over he thought for a moment realizing that he didn't want to loose what momentum he had against this fiend. How ever it seemed like the ghoul had other plan as it gripped the chain of the lantern and started to swing it around him and a full circle. There was no preparedness with Kuro about this attack that was just launched, so it easily struck him on the shoulder. This caused him to spin slightly and drop to a knee, quickly grasping his shoulder as the strike was a solid one. He looked over at the nightmare and noticed that there was a orb that had escaped everyone and was then absorbed by the lantern once it stopped moving. Kuro had been on a roll before hand, and he had no intention on stopping his momentum. With that thought finished, he got right back up and headed back to their target. The strategy was going to be continuous his and run, and this was the wind up for the fourth consecutive strike against this monster that stood before them all. The boy stood with a slight hunch, still using the table as a precaution, which earned him a growl from the object. Jynn's hand shot off of it as he mumbled an apology. His entire felt as if he had taken a comfortable swim in a frozen lake. Whatever those blue orb things were, it wasn't pleasant to have them ripped away from him. Jynn focused on his trick, following the back and forth path of the blue fires. Thresh's lantern, the source of the demon's fires, seemed to be close to empty. Does that mean? Jynn looked at the desk, his expression thoughtful. As if reading his mind, the desk shrugged. Somehow. Jynn didn't question it, as there were weirder things going on. He ran around while his classmates bum rushed the Warden, the blond trying to get behind him. When he thought he was in a good enough position, Jynn jumped, attempting to grab onto the lantern. His fingers clenched around the cold metal just as Thresh turned, his flaming eyes looking right into the boy's soul. Jynn had enough time to mutter “Uh oh...” before the spectre swung the lantern, sending the boy flying back to where he started.
