If Sheridan was angry before, he was now fuming. "They are the same person, you stupid little imp!" As if it wasn't bad enough that the imp had insulted him and was now trying to steal his ghoul, but he was also insulting her as well. How dare he treat Tess as such, dismissing her as if she was nothing! Tess was his ghoulfriend, his best friend, he cared for her deeply, he would have protected her from anything, and he was not about to stand there have her treated that way! And while he did not get along with the Legs half of her, he would have protected her as well, because even when separated, they were still the same being! "You owe her an apology, both of her." He probably should have listened to Tess, he did not like to see her upset for any reason and causing her more discomfort was the last thing he would have wanted. Maybe he was too blinded at that moment by anger, and perhaps baffled that even Legs were tolerate such treatment.

There was no denying the fact that Herryk was feeling crankier and crankier with each minute that passed without Freya by his side. False. He remembered False from the Christmas 'festivities' - and he recalled being genuinely irate by the whole ordeal.
When the little cat-thing called out for his attention, Herryk scowled. He remembered that terrible creature, too. Crossing his arms over his chest, Herryk darted his gaze towards the entrance, just like the cat familiar had indicated he should
If he'd been a living, breathing man with a heartbeat, his breath would have stilled in his lungs and his heart would have stilled in his chest. Even still, Herryk felt a pang in his chest when he caught sight of Freya come through the door on False's arm. She was so beautiful, and he was so proud to be her boilfriend. He felt a moment of regret where he recognized the fact that he should have been the one to walk Freya over the threshold onto the dance floor.
Regrettably, there was nothing he could do about that now. All he could do was make the most of the moment he was presented with now. Herryk moved forward, his long stride eating up the ground between himself and his beloved. As he drew up close, Herryk slowed, hands on his hips as he drank in the sight of the beautiful ghoul standing before him - and pointedly ignoring the boil at her side.

Kekeke~ Her fingers unlatched easily when West fidgeted enough in his stumble to cause her to move them. Her fingers rested by his shoulder so he'd be a bit more relaxed. Good. Yew been pickin' up on yer footwork. Keepin' up pretty dang good with them clodhoppers a'yers. One of Levi's hands strayed from his shoulders then, trailing down to take up one of his at her hips. This was a bit more complicated a way of dancing, but raising their hands and clutching him tightly, Levi rocked them into the motion. before straying a bit more and twirling under West's arm. Upon returning to him, she chuckled again. Think'a this like more trainin' fer us both, West. For her, it was like a training of inner peace. The tatzel ghoul was a wreck inside her gut. Scareflies floated about in there and gravitated to the tips of West's fingers every so often.

Mei would of blushed at the compliment. If it weren't for the fact that no blood actually ran through her veins to create the pigment in her cheeks for blushing. She simply smiled and gave Eisheth a nod. "Thank you." Examining the mask she oooed lightly. "Its very pretty! I might hafta get you to make me one just because."Patting Eisheth's arm, she lead her over to the table where the punch bowl was located. Unraveling her arm, she grabbed two cups. Filling them with punch just enough so that they wouldn't spill so easily and handed one to Eisheth. "That's right, well then here is to your first experience of a new drink. Its usually nothing fancy. Just a simple sweet drink."The ghoul took a sip from her cup before leaning in so she could whisper to Eisheth. "I've heard though sometimes someone might 'spike' the bunch with something a little stronger...." She made the universal hand motion for drinking an alcoholic bottle. "So if it tastes different later on watch yourself."

Staring up at Titus, Hel was sporting the largest grin she had in a while underneath her mask. Seeing him barely hang onto his composure was great. Wonderful. Fantastic. So awesome. So worth these past few minutes spent in his hold. He was sweating. Hel wanted to howl…but that’d be too obnoxious. Instead, she cackled now, dropping the timid ghoul façade as she released the nightmare demon and watched him flee. “ See ya, Snaggletooth.” The ghoul then saluted him. “ Flee like the little b***h you are, ya!?” She called after him. She rested her hands on her hips…now free for the time being and looked around. Oh…a bunch of her friends were gathered around the punch table…with…Mot. Her stomach turned unpleasantly. She…couldn’t go over there right now. But…where to now? Sparrow seemed busy now and…ah! Was that Sammy? She hadn’t spoken to Sammy in a while…The reaper smoothed out the front of her dress and then approached the undead ghoul. “ Ah…hello, friend. Long time no see.”

"Well then maybe, just to be on the safe side, you should just hold my hand all night and then if I do stumble, you can help me so that I don't fall down." He held his hand out towards Yin with a very cheeky grin, but not before giving Yin's tie a slightly critical look. It was crooked, and it was so very tempting to reach over and adjust it. His fingers practically itched with the need. But no, he would be good, he would not draw attention to them by doing things that Yin probably would not at all appreciate. At the mention of food. Alex felt a familiar aching emptiness in his stomach. Really this last week or two had been bad enough, with all of the meals he'd been skipping since having job interviews and not getting to spend nearly as much time with Yin as he would have liked, plus not really having any money to spare. But he knew he could do it, that he didn't actually need food to sustain him. Still, it was practically torture, and his face turned so that he could gaze longingly at all of the food spread out on the table nearby. "No, I haven't really..uh..been eating much at all lately." He confessed, even as he stared at all of that delicious bounty. He waited to see if Yin would actually take his hand before making his way over towards the table, eyeing the food that was available. "I'll get a discount on the food where I work, and they said they can take the meals off of my paycheck if I want. Oh, maybe you can even come and see me sometime and I can serve you a meal!" Maybe this job thing wouldn't be so bad, after all. The music had changed to something a little more tasteful, finally, though it still wasn't really Alex's cup of tea. He had a glance over at the dance floor, anyways, a little bit envious of all of the couples who were out there taking a turn. Oh well, he supposed there were probably going to be several opportunities to dance with some of his friends throughout the night, provided his date didn't mind of course. But back to the task at hand. The fooooood! There were so many things to choose from, so Alex grabbed a plate from the stack off to one side and started filling up on all of the meatier selections. So far he'd been really too wrapped up in everything that had been happening, and possibly with his own date who he could still barely look at without being hit by a wave of something almost like giddiness, to even really notice if any of his close friends had arrived. "Were you waiting for me for a long time?" He suddenly asked, concerned that Yin might have thought that he wasn't coming. Yayoi Just in case Mei is nearby and wants to chat~

Willow's tail flickered, "There's just not as much water." She added thinking back about how much water and lotus flowers the Conquest isle had.
She smiled and nodded as Fai agreed.
There was a pause when the death preistess started talking about things she knew masks to be used for. Willow's brow lofted, "I know of a few festivals that use masks for celebration, some of the ones where I live use them for story telling as well. Depending on the story but most of that is for the scarelings." She added not just torture and sacrifices use masks, "And not every torturer wears a mask." She held back the prime example of the hunters.
Her tail flickered, "Yes I was. I was honored with the privilege to have a class under Priestess Medea. Trance is an.... interesting method of learning." She couldn't really say she enjoyed any lingering effects but learning was important for certain things.
When Kiwi started Willow followed his example. Noticing the distinct lack of bangles on her arms, and how much more musical his sounded. Her ears twitched forward. "Hm... I may have to invest in bangles if I continue to learn dances from you. The moves sound much more interesting with them."
She continued to follow and match what Kiwi was doing, "This doesn't seem too difficult of a dance." Of course the skirt of her dress could've been a bit in the way if it hadn't had the slit in it. "Hm, this may also require a little better suited wardrobe." She'd been practicing anyways with "normal" dancing.
She looked over towards Heidla, frowning a little as she noticed that perhaps the other ghoul would have even harder of a time keeping up with them. Since it seemed she had even more clothing to fuss with.

He only laughed at the slap turning to face her grinning all the while, why she almost matched the shade of his mask! "Too late now my friend." Turning back to the dance floor watching as Herryk started to stride over.
"No need to present me, this is your moment."
Herryk was almost there and so he made one last gesture turning to the side dipping to his knee pressing the back of her hand to his brow, no kiss! See Herryk? No. Kiss.
Standing up again he winked at her, "More then welcome, now go."
Turning he moved past Herryk giving the large boil a pat on the shoulder (he had to tip toe for that a bit...) "Go get her Big Boil, sorry about giftmas, and you better treat he like a princess tonight."

...Flowers? For her? Needle turned again towards Muka as he brought them to her attention, her eyes lowering behind her mask to see the shape the flowers took. "...Thank you, Petro." She breathed out softly, touched by the gesture. Yes, she would be drowning in flowers soon, but it would be a happy drowning; she didn't often receive gifts, and flowers were still gifts. She released her grip on Lattice's hand long enough to take the flowers from her date, bowing her head to take in their scent. "They are lovely." She meant it, every word.
As the boils settled to briefly talk about what happened before their arrival, Needle plucked a rose from the bouquet Petro had given her. She twisted it momentarily between her fingers, admiring it's shape on it's own, the hint of colour she could get from it's proximity. She then tucked the rose into Lattice's hair, her movements soft and affectionate as she put it firmly in it's place. "Beautiful~" She keened to her sister, giving her upper arms a light squeeze. "I am! This is wonderful so far, I can only imagine it will get better! But more importantly...are you enjoying yourself?" For the moment, the more Motherly, hen-like Needle was showing through, fussing over her adored sibling.
"The flash was startling, but Ulmuka prepared me for them." She had to chip in at that comment, smiling away. At the mention of food she tilted her head, following her date's line of sight towards the tables before leaning towards Lattice once more. "He is a very interesting eater. His teeth are like razors!" She whispered excitedly, keeping it like a secret between them; she felt like a little ghoul again, and she was loving every moment of it.
"What should we do first, since we are doing everything?"

The pause as Riyo stared at his wrist felt like an hour, despite being only seconds. Finally, Deacon replaced the accessory to cover the evidence of the spreading Insanity. He felt nervous, ashamed to have to show that he'd accomplished nothing to stop it like he had told her he'd planned to.
And, as he had said to Riley... If she couldn't defeat it, what hope did anyone else have? She'd told him to not give up hope, not long before it overtook her.
The fact that Riyo hadn't recoiled was surprising, but also unexpectedly comforting. Proof that even after how much she claimed to despise him - with completely good reasons, of course - she wasn't going to kick him while he was down. Though, where Riyo felt responsible in part for wishing him to suffer, Deacon felt as though it were the sickness alone that was earning him her kindness. He would accept it, though. After all, especially now he didn't know how much time was left. He knew next to nothing about any of it. It would be nice to have at least one person seem to care that his time was limited.
If the mere attention to him up to that point was a surprise, Deacon was stunned when she willingly took him by the hand. Simple as a gesture as it was, from her it meant something to him. "Alright."
He followed without protest, inwardly wondering if something on the stronger side might make him feel better. It had certainly helped at Scarentines, and that night had been one ******** event right after another.
Deacon found himself suddenly wondering if Christof was here.------- Yuki was very pleased with himself, and unlike Astra seemed to have his mind set in a positive direction for the night. Sure, there had been stress in the months and weeks past, but tonight everything would be fine. They could all forget their troubles and dance the night away. Or something like that.
The ghost boil looked down to his date, unable to help but grin. "You nervous? I've lost track of how many times I've seen you fidget with that."
Be it to offer reassurance, or to hinder what attempts the fae was making not to appear flustered, Yuki gently put an arm around her and guided her away from the door and closer to the festivities.
"Come on. What do you want to do, first?"

Mot laughed and shook his head. "Well, I'm glad it didn't have to get so hectic for you to enjoy yourself." No fires at Prom, kay thanks! Shun's voice caught his attention, turning to find the fellow reaper with Mitsu. "Ah, yes. I thought I'd brave it for my friends." He admitted nervously. But how did Shun know he'd been off? Maybe he and Hel were closer than he knew. So he knew they were taking time away from one another? Mitsu received a hug in return, and a pat on the head. "Of course. I'd love to have a dance with you. I'm so happy you've practiced, too." He smiled warmly down at the ghoul. Mot stepped back and waved a hand toward Amarus. "This is Amarus. I'm not sure if any of you have met her. Amarus, this is Shun and Mitsu. Very good friends of mine."

Siddie was off and about, Junko handling her party things, so she had a collection of punch cups most full, a few empty entertaining those who wandered to her table.
This time it was Hel.
Perking up the ghoul waved her into a seat, "Sit sit! You must be on your feet all night Hel!" She slid one of the untouched cups over grinning, "How the Jack Damn have you been? It's been ages since I've seen you. Jack I feel terrible we spent so much time practicing and having fun. But we never actually continued to hang out..." The ghoul actually pouted a bit, her purple flaming eyes dimming a bit, "So did you come to prom with anyone....?"

[Entering alone!] Amrita hadn't been there for very long, and her time spent at Prom so far included standing on her backward toes to try and spot her date. He had to be around here somewhere, he was student council! Her search turned fruitless, but it did lead to an interesting development; a fight about to break out nearby. A heated one at that! Oh dear, that just would not do! The Patchwork didn't mull over her course of action, she just moved, taking the decorative mask off of her face and very obviously dropping it between those present; especially the lower half of someone's body, and the giant dragon boil.
"Clumsy me!" She squeaked out as if what she had done was a complete accident, shimmying her way right into the middle of the argument. "Excuse me! Ah, pardon me; wow, your...outfit is lovely!" Amrita gushed as she got in their way, putting herself in the middle of it all and taking up as much space as her little self would grant in an attempt to get her 'accidentally dropped' mask.Bilious Just so you know Rita's here! : D

The moment was a little surreal. She'd had so little interaction with False, but she was coming to find that she would owe him greatly for this night, even if his time with her was only meant to be a few short minutes. They were the most important minutes, and he was managing to be quite gentlemanly and poignant during them. Her opinion of the boil changed greatly. When he let her go, she realized Herryk was coming towards her. Her face slowly lit up, the smile breaking across her face like dawn, and she automatically reached out to him - but she relented, and turned to give False one quick, tight hug. "Thanks yeh." She whispered into his ear, before letting him go completely and practically jumping into Herryk's arms. "I tolds yeh I was almost here! Didn't thinks yeh'd have enough times teh be worried about meh lateness behind that booths tonight. How is that goings, anyway?" She was clearly in a much happier mood than she'd been since the first time they'd spoken of prom. It was a visible improvement.

Well, if she closed her eyes, that could even pass as a pleasant trance experience. Heidla quite enjoyed it - after she "cleaned" the dance from too violent and passionate movements of the Famine clan. Probably, she though, it all depends on the climate. The hotter it is, the more wild you get. The colder it is, the more reserved you are. Or it might be all about complexity of one's lifestyle. For Heidla grew up believing that Death was the most sophisticated of all the clans, so if their dance practices are simple, that means, the more complex your thoughts are, the slower your movements. Or.... but that was her getting nowhere, so she concentrated on the movements of Fai and Kiwi once again, trying to get it right. Well, she could admit the vigour of their movements was captivating enough. " So that's how you dance, huh?" she grinned. Soon she got tired (and probably too hot, as she was neither used nor fit for that sort of dancing), so she slowed her movements once again and distractedly started searching through the crowd. There weren't many people she knew, and most of them hid their faces anyway, Yayoi Just in case: they met once, so they could recognize each other and renew their acquaintance MoonKitsune If Calder is here, she would admire his mask
