She tried to hold back her giggle when he stood up on his hind legs. "I'm sorry... you're just so cute," she told him, tip toeing to the door and slowly opening it. "Follow me," she mouthed to him and slipped out her bedroom door. She quietly made her way down her carpeted stairs, past the living room and into the front foyer. She quickly slipped on her boots and threw on a jacket, scarf and ear muffs, because she obviously wasn't about to try to sneak back upstairs to change into something else. "Ready?" she asked, unlocking the front door and stepping past the threshold.

He relaxed when they got out of the house and took the lead, hurrying back towards the shop. He really hoped he'd gotten her in time to see the plant bloom.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

There was no wind, thankfully, but there was tons of snow. She should have worn sweatpants... Oh well. She tried her best to keep up with the swift little fox, and she found herself trotting to keep up with him. But she didn't mind, and soon enough they were rounding the corner and the shop was in sight.

Alexander stood, the blanket still around him, and hurried to the door. He looked surprised when he saw Danny standing there. "Ah, Danny! Come in, come in!" he said, stepping aside. "Rasiel, what did you do?" He asked, assuming the fox had slipped into her house somehow.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She smiled in greeting and let herself be ushered inside. "Don't worry," she told Alexander, "He's fine... he reminded me about your flower..." she said softly, gazing at Rasiel with a smile.

The flower looked beautiful, no matter how huge and intimidating it seemed. Danny gazed at it, marveled by how it seemed on the verge of blooming. "This is so exciting," she whispered, glancing at Alexander.

As he looked at her he threw the blanket he had wrapped around himself around her as well, scooting his chair close. She leaned against the plush chair as her eyes fell on the plant, and she grinned. The flower began to pulse, and the whole room took on a hush that seemed to make the blooming even more momentous.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗The plant's vines began lifting then, the buds moving slightly. When they were lifted fully, they began to open slowly and as the petals slid against each other to unfold, each played a pure note. As they played together, each one opening at a different time, a beautiful melody sounded. The flowers were a light turquoise at the ends, growing deeper and richer towards the centers, and the stamens were a deep purple, each ending with a little flare. Each flower shone with bio-luminescence. Even after every flower bloomed, they began to open and close again, keeping the melody going. Alexander sat, his eyes wide as he watched the flowers. "Wow...I didn't expect this..." he said, his tone hushed.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She had never seen anything like it. A flower playing music was probably the best thing she'd ever been able to witness, and she peeked at Alexander for a split second to see he looked just as fascinated as she was. She giggled quietly as she turned back to the amazing flower.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander saw her glance at him and smiled some, though he was staring at the plant still. As the flowers continued to play, little glowing bits of pollen began to float from it, gentler than most plants that sprayed pollen. Alexander laughed a tad, delighted as he blew a bead of the pollen away from his face.
