Because of his nap and adrenaline rush Yin really was not finding himself that tired. But if it meant escaping to the house...well, there were certainly worse things than getting too much sleep. "I shall go check on it," he answered with a bit of relief in his tone. He started away from the pair, lifting his hand or dipping his head in acknowledgement to those that he passed as he headed back to the house.

Alexander's room was exactly as they had left it, except that the creature seemed to still be putting off an odor that had condensed in the room so that even Yin noticed something off. He left the door open for a moment, not wanting to let hot air escape but at least letting it even out. The creature was fine, everything was fine, and he was not ready to sleep.

He meditated briefly and then took out the book he was working his way through, slowly but diligently. It was time to read about Jack, and work some more on learning about Halloween. "Jack Skel-ing--Skelington grew up as a nor-mal un-dead boil. As a chi--chil---child? Child! he was ..." He would probably continue to mumble-read to himself for a decent amount of time.

Alex knew that now that the game was done, and the weekend coming to a close, that most of his family would be leaving tonight. He needed to see them off, say goodbye. Who knew when he would see them again? A few family members might decide to stay the night and depart in the morning, but for the most part, they were going now.

"I'll...I'll probably come up when I'm finished out here, Yin!" He called to the departing weremantis. It was more of a warning then anything. He was thinking about taking his gaming system downstairs for the night, and would need to get into his room to get it.

Once the weremantis had slipped off towards the house, Alex shambled towards the rest of the family, only too happy too show them the skull, and tell them that it was Yin who had captured it. There was some startled faces, some unhappy once, but in general everyone just seemed to want to praise all of Yin's good qualities. It was really a shame he would prefer to remain hidden away and out of the celebrations.

Some time later, after many many goodbyes and more then a few hugs, handshakes, and supposedly helpful advice, Alex found himself with a much smaller group of zombies around him. His mom and dad were there, as well as his brother and sister. Michael and Justin were told they could spend the night but the rest of his cousins had gone, including Olivia, who had been one of the most awkward goodbyes he'd ever experienced. His aunt and uncle remained as well, with their other younger children. They would stay until morning, and leave after breakfast, before Yin and Alex were taken back to the train station.

The general consensus was that, yes, video games would be the best way to spend the evening. So, while the three zomboils made their trek back to the house and inside, Alex left them downstairs to go up to his room and get his hexbox.

When he arrived at the door to his room, he knocked, thinking that he could hear Yin talking to...somebody? He wasn't quite sure. "Hey Yin, it's me!" He called, as he waited for the door to be opened.

"...met on the moon-lit hill." He had conveniently just finished a sentence when the knocking began. Yin sat the book down on the bed, leaving it open to the page he was on, and quickly crossed to the door. He had not locked it, seeing as the twins were no longer there, But it was probably expected by now that he would lock it.

"Good evening Alexander. Did everything go well outside?" He moved away from the doorway so the zomboil could enter before shutting it again. He had known that the zomboil would be coming back, but did not know for what purpose. And now that he was taking a break from his book he was beginning to feel tired again.

Alex shuffled his way into the room, noting the open book on the bed, which explained the talking Alex could hear when he had first approached. "Hm? Oh, yes. In fact, just about everyone is gone now. Just Michael and Justin, and a couple of younger cousins, and one aunt and uncle left." He made his way over to the kennel, kneeling down to look at the creature inside, who still looked more then content.

"It smells weird in here." Alex commented, "And I think it's coming from this guy. If you need to leave a window open or something, feel free." He got down on the floor completely now, crawling over to the hexbox to start unhooking it from the skeevee and get it ready to take downstairs.

"We're going to play some games downstairs in the living room to pass the time. You're welcome to join us, if you're not tired yet?" The weremantis hadn't been making those telltale signs of fatigue, such as yawning or moving around at a more lethargic pace, so maybe he was good for a while...

"Oh...I did not mean to leave without saying goodbye..." Oh well, nothing he could do about it now and he did not know them that well. And he could still say his farewells to some of the family. Provided that they were not all back before they pair headed back to Amityville.

"i can deal with the smell, but if it gets too bad I shall keep that in mind. And I thank you for the offer but I think I will turn in after this paragraph. I hope that you have a pleasant night with them."

After the zomboil had gathered up his gaming supplies Yin held open the door for him. "Goodnight Alexander." Alone once more he did exactly what he had said he was going to do. He finished his chapter, flipped off the light, and went to bed. The next morning he woke at his rather normal time, though there was a rather distasteful odor in the air. He opened the window as he began to run through his morning exercises.

This was it.

This was the day.

He was going to see Princess Eva again.

"Don't worry too much about it. My family doesn't get that easily offended..." He murmured while continuing to unhook the electronic device that he planned on taking downstairs to play until morning. Finishing up, he gathered the machine up into his arms and stood up, glancing over to where Yin was.

"Are you sure? Well....okay then...I'll see you at breakfast time.." He said, with perhaps a touch of disappointment in his tone. He thought that Yin would have said yes, but he guessed the weremantis was more tired then he appeared.

"Good night, Yǐn Cáng!" He said as he made his way to the door, giving the weremantis a brilliant smile before leaving the room and heading downstairs.

He spent the rest of the evening doing exactly as he had said he would, though with a movie or two tossed in between games. His cousins had wondered at the dating sims game that had still been inside the hexbox when Alex had first hooked it up and turned it on, and gave him a hard time about it several times throughout the evening, but he found himself laughing with them more often then not.

Tomorrow he would be going back to Amityville, and who knew when he would get to see his cousins again?

A nice full repetition of stretches and exercises later, pushed to new levels of physical exertion as he had tried to be careful to move in the limited space and had worked with his environment to try new or especially complicated poses and holding them. He was actually tired by the time he finished, and had even worked up a light sweat so he went to take a shower before ever venturing downstairs.

The zomboil trio were apparently still gathered around the skeevee, which Yin might never understand, at least, not for an entire evenings worth. Despite the lengthy workout he had had it was still fairly early in the day. "Good morning," he greeted as he made his way down the stairs and over to where they were, standing a meter or two away from them and gaze flickering up to the screen.

Alex was indeed still sitting in front of the skeeve, knees pulled up to this chest with one arm looped around them and toes hanging off the edge of the couch. The hexbox consoles remote controls were lying scattered on the living room floor, as well as a pile of empty yet dirty plates that were stacked to one side, remnants of the zomboils late night snacking. A shrill and bloodcurdling scream came from the sceevee as a man in a hockey mask wielding a butcher knife chased a girl around a table. The three zomboils all burst out laughing, but Alex stopped when he heard Yin enter the room.

"Oh, is it morning already?" He glanced out the window, as indeed, the pumpkin sun was on the rise. "Well, good morning to you too, Yin! You uh..all packed and ready to head back to school?" Alexander was feeling..slightly sad and hollow inside now that the time had actually come to think about leaving again. He hadn't realised how much he really missed his family until he was back home again, and going back to school was probably going to be like starting over again from where he had been before.

But this time you will have your friends there with you. He reminded himself, as he gave Yin a large and warm smile.

Packed? No, not at all. But considering the amount of things that he had brought with him it really was nothing to worry about. "I can be ready to leave given a five minute notice, or I could go back up and pack now?" He hesitated to walk forward, feeling distinctly uncomfortable with what was happening on the skelevision. It appeared as though a reaper was chasing a ghoul around. Possibly human...but what if she was not? It was highly unsettling and he looked away, trying to be polite and not make a scene.

But really, was this the sort of thing to watch on skeevee?

And for ready to head back to school...yes. Certainly yes. It was interesting being here, so close to Alexander so much of the time. His parents nice, as well as most of his cousins. The hunting was wonderful, as were the games. But here it was cold if he left the room, and Princess Eva was not here. He certainly knew what it meant to be an outsider, though Alexander seemed to be quite in his element here.

"Nah you should be fine." Alex shrugged in reply, having not packed any of his own things yet, either, and knowing that they wouldn't be leaving until after breakfast at least. He reached over and grabbed the remote for the skeevee, tapping the power button with his thumb to turn it off, much to the disgruntlement of his cousins, who were both complaining that it had just been getting to the funniest part.

He then unfolded his legs and pushed himself off of the couch to stand on the floor, stretching his arms out and back, cracking the bones in his back before shuffling forward. "Did you sleep well?" He inquired, politely. He was pretty sure that was something you were supposed to ask those who actually slept.

"Mom should have breakfast ready soon if you want to come and sit down in the dining room with us." He said, as he shoved hands into this pockets and smiled down at the weremantis. "After that we can go upstairs and pack."

Yin might have felt badly for the cousins when Alexander turned it off, had it not been for the subject that they were watching. Really, there was no reason to watch that. "Very well, thank you. I hope that the three of you had an enjoyable night?" Judging by the stacks of plates and such they should not be hungry at the very least, and that typically made for a good time.

The mention of breakfast made his mouth began to water. "Of course, that plan sounds good." He followed the zomboil to the dining room but once there hesitated. He could sit with the zomboils and Alexander's father seemed to already be there and waiting...with an appetizer. Well, there had to be some perks to being married.

"I think I shall go see if your mother requires any assistance. Ishall return shortly." He went at his normal pace (in other words much faster than Alexander) to the kitchen, lurking in the doorway before asking if she needed any help.

Alexander nodded, "Ya, we had a lot of fun." Though he couldn't help but feel he would have had a better time if Yin had come downstairs to hang out with them, or if he had locked himself in the bedroom with the other boil again.

He shuffled his way over to the dininng room, his cousins following behind, talking and laughing about something, probably the movie they had just been watching. They may have been comparing ways that they would have killed and mutilated the human woman, though Alex wasn't playing that close attention to what they were saying.

"Oh? Okay then." He smiled, shaking his head a little as the weremantis took off towards the kitchen. Alex slid into his usual seat to one side of his dad, his cousins finding there own places to sit as well, on the other side of the table but leaving the space next to his dad open for his mother when she arrived. It wasn't long afterwards that Isabella and Nathaniel also arrived, though Isabella sat with the seat between her and Alex empty, thoughtfully leaving it for Yin for when he returned.

Alexander's mother, of course, did not necessarily require any assistance. No, she had been doing this alone for far too long and was quite used to it by now. But would she refuse an offer? Especially one from such a kind, polite, and helpful boil such Yǐn Cáng? Of course not! She more then happily pointed him towards the cupboards, asking him if he wouldn't mind setting the table with plates and cutlery for everyone to eat with.

Yin was happy to help, and attacked his task with gusto. First he found the plates, grabbing a stack and moving to the other room to set them in front of each place and the two empty ones that were obviously left open for him and Alexander's mother. He still had plates left in the stack but he was not disturbed by that, having not bothered to count them in the first place. Those he took back to put them up again, then he made a grab for the silverware.

There was little doubt in his mind that Alexander would not use a fork or knife, but he gave them all silverware anyways, setting the table quickly and not really minding that the zombie family had seemed to find something or other to talk about and were not really giving him any attention. The extras returned with him back to the kitchen, where he opened up the small ridiculously cold box to retrieve water that he wished he could eat before he drank it and then acquired a platter of food to carry back into the dining room with him as he went to find his seat.

He set it down first before sitting next to Alexander, but turning toward Miss Isabella to give her a soft "good morning," before doing anything else. Alexander's mother soon arrived with more food, though oddly enough no one grabbed for it until she was seated. Of course, once they all knew it was fine the frenzy began, though with Yin's reflexes he was able to put enough on his plate without losing any flesh in the process.

Isabella gave Yin a soft smile in reply, tucking half of her hair behind one ear while the other half still hid half of her face.

Yin was starting to know Alex all too well, as once his mother was seated and the feeding frenzy had begun, the zomboil indeed did not even bother with the cutlery that the weremantis had set for him, though nearly everyone else at the table did. There were at least a couple of times when Alex may have almost slapped Yin's hand away from the food with a growl, but he somehow managed to restrain himself, and shove his greedy yet possessive instincts aside. It was hard though, as much as Yin was like family, he was not a zombie, so when it came to frenzied eating such as this, Alex's more animalistic behavior was really just quite unbecoming.

It was not long before the plates of food on the table were empty, and Alexander's was as well. Blood stained his fingers, the color already embedded under his fingernails from past meals. It was a wonder that Alex could even occasionally get them clean at all.

"Thanks for breakfast, mom!" Alex said, smiling happily, though inwardly he was a little sad that this was the last home cooked meal he would be getting from his mother for a long time to come.

When everyone was finished, he pushed back his chair and rose, "I guess it's time to pack..." He said, his tone of voice a little forlorn. It was really almost time to be heading back to the school. It was a little exciting, but sad at the same time.

"Do you...do you need help cleaning up?" Alex said, directly towards his mother, who stopped what she was doing, her fork clattering to her plate noisely.

The room had suddenly gotten utterly silent, and Alex had to frown. Really, it was that shocking? Really???

His mother finally nodded, slowly, eyebrow raised as though she had no idea what was even happening. "Yes that..that would be nice, Alexander. Thank you."

Still frowning, and in fact, now pratically glaring at everyone in the room (besides his mom), Alex began gathering up the plates before taking them to the kitchen to dump into the sink.

He wasn't going to wash them though. No jacking way.

The food, as usual, was delicious. And Yin was certainly going to miss it. So he certainly ate his fill, though his fill was rather a lot less than the dent that Alexander put into the food. It was really almost impressive.

He tacked on his own thanks, though after Alexander's it felt like a simple formality, making him feel oddly guilty. But it being time to pack was not nearly as bad as Alexander was making it sound. He was ready to go back, and ready to see his darling again. And, just a little bit of him was ready to go back to his own room and just...some place where it was not so ridiculously cold. The dining room was beginning to get to him.

Yin watched in fascination as Alexander's mother dropped her fork. Out of the corner of his mouth he could see Nathaniel's mouth flop open revealing the rest of the meat he had been chewing. Yin had to admit he was almost surprised as well, looking up to glance at Alexander only to be glowered at. Taken aback he did nothing as Alexander took his plate and headed to the kitchen, but then he stood and began gathering the leftover silverware to put on one of the platters and took as much as he could carry to the kitchen as well. "How long do we have until we leave?" he questioned tentatively, not sure if the zomboil was still angry at him. Or why he had been angry in the first place.
