"Jax... I'm a succubus, amongst other things, I'm a demon royal... But I may be able to help you heal and make sense of your own mind better than you can right now..." she shrugged one shoulder and let her hand fall back to her side as she looked at him, concern in her eyes. User ImagePausing he looked at her "Heal me?" Taking a small step back he shook his head "No...I'm not some naturally wounded body. I'm supposed to be this way, I'm not injured." Attempting to prove it he took a deep inhale the muscles threaded into the stitches in his neck withdrawing and his head falling into his hands. Looking up at her from his hands he exhaled again his neck opening as the air escaped, placing his head back he let it stitch back on "If you tried to heal me you'd fuse parts of my body together, my flesh is meant to be separate thats what lets my body function." He appreciated the effort but he wasn't a normal person and if she attempted to heal him she'd be taking a clockwork masterpiece and melting the gears together. Pulling his cloak back on he shrank back a little aware of the pain that he'd feel if she tried to meld his flesh into one mass.

Ambrosia was certainly surprised when the cloaked figure told her that he had been expecting worse. Just what had he thought she and her sisters would do to him? Before Ambrosia could speak or act, Amaranthe was at her side, introducing herself to the man and explaining the invitation to him. The dark-haired female remained silent as her sister spoke, her 'clone' disappearing after only a moment. Like Amaranthe, she was also curious as to what race Jax was and awaited his response eagerly. What happened next, however, was...unexpected to say the least.

Jax's cloak suddenly flew from his back, revealing a mass of thrashing tentacles when it did. Surprised, that would be the correct way to describe how she felt, and slightly amused as well. Given her family history, random transformations were not uncommon. But this wasn't a transformation, not in the sense she was used to anyway, and that made it...strange. As quickly as they had come, the tentacles disappeared though. The strange appendages seemingly vanished inside his body, as if they had never appeared in the first place. This was definitely one of the stranger things she had ever seen, yet it only made the woman more curious about this man.

Ambrosia smiled lightly at the male.
"Don't worry about it Jax, no harm done. Honestly, you're probably more human than many of the people here." Again, Amaranthe was the first to respond to the question Jax voiced so Ambrosia remained quiet for a time as she listened to the interactions between this man and her sister. One brow arched slightly at the request her sister made. It was certainly an odd request, and the first time Ambrosia had her sister ask one of their guests such a thing. She understood why Amaranthe made such a request though.

Golden orbs shifted to Jax, curious as to what his response would be. After a pause, and probably much debating, the man agreed to Amaranthe's request. He was hesitant in agreeing though, something both women realized. The white-haired woman stopped, her hand hanging half-way between herself and Jax, to explain what she meant. The words she spoke only seemed to increase his fear, however, and the male stepped back from the duo shaking his head. Ambrosia shook her head when the man spoke though, he was misinterpreting her sister's words. That was what she believed anyway. She waited until he had finished speaking to voice her own opinion though. Surprisingly enough, Ambrosia was not shocked to see his head fall off. He wasn't the first person she had met who could detach parts of their body.
"Healing does not always need to be a physical thing Jax. As my sister said, we wish you no harm. That is not our intention."

I want to help you know what changes are coming, and control the reactions that your body gives..." she shrugged and sighed softly "Although at the end of the day, it's up to you..."

User ImageLooking between them he exhaled feeling a little calmer "I-I guess I understand. I just don't want anyone to make changes to me." A few tentacles were creeping behind him again fearfully, he still didn't quite understand what she was intending to do to him but she made it sound complicated. Both women seemed calming but they also had a feeling of danger, like cats toying with a mouse. It was probably true they had much more power than him and much more knowledge, whatever they wanted to do to him they probably could despite his choice.
Exhaling he shrugged the thought off and relaxed a little, there was no reason for them to bring him here like this if they just wanted to mess with him and experiment with his body.

There was something divine and mysterious about silence. When no sound resonated within vicinity, the mind indulged itself in an endeavor of fighting off the most inexplicable and inappropriate thoughts that had a volume and a range of their own. One might not hear them with the physical ears, and yet they were present, fighting to take control of a stubborn conscience. Nobody held the reigns of his own thoughts. On the contrary, they are free to follow a course of action that might lead you astray. So was Angelique attempting to set a trap on her own persistent imagination and focus on what was really important.

She had arrived at the castle almost a week ago but she failed in making an official appearance. Embraced by the dark, known solely by the leaders, she had entered a domain which would gradually turn into what some people termed home. Such a word did not exist in the vampire’s vocabulary. It was more of a taboo that reminded her she should not get attached to anything that she came in contact with, be them persons or places, and not an actual notion. History forced her to seek shelter here but her plan was not to stay for long.

Unfortunately, after seven days, the pressure inside the walls of her apartment was growing in volume, applying a weight upon her shoulders that was transforming into a rather disturbing headache. As alone as she liked to be, the constant riot and crowd of voices passing through the wood of the door summoned her out of the confined space. She wondered if there was someone to talk to about being assigned a more isolated room, but gave up that idea. After all, a minimum contact with the outside world provided her with bits of necessary information, such as who was living here, why, and most importantly what was that led the others into this seclusion.

In her first day here, the French woman had not used the normal entrance, thus was not accustomed to the architectural structure of the castle and accidentally got herself lost through the labyrinth like corridors when she got out of her apartment a week later. Finding the right way proved simpler after asking for guidance however, even if the short conversation left a bitter taste on the top of her tongue. She did not enjoy talking, in any form. To her, society was nothing but a deceiving instrument that fooled the individual and impressed the collective mind. It was universally known that as a member of the crowd, man lost most of his intelligence and got himself ruled by the desire of the mass that was exquisitely influenced by a single leader. In a lack of a better term, it was repugnant.

Another thing she admitted to herself was that whoever built this place had a real taste in matter of furniture. Everything was well organized, clean and emanated an air of elegance that relaxed the frail nerves of this particular creature. Maybe for a few moments she could pretend to enjoy her stay and retreat in her room.

The first person whom she laid eyes on upon stepping through the enormous doors was the lithe figure of Ambrosia, accompanied by a couple which was formed by the other mistress and a peculiar man. She paid no heed to the latter, seeing how the sweetness of his scent made her nauseous and slithered closer to the two women that had welcomed her when she arrived.

                                    “Hello.”
Her voice, sweet as the most finely tuned flute traveled through air. She was half a meter situated behind the group, arms crossed casually at the chest as a smile crept onto her bloody shaded lips. The dress she was wearing matched nothing but the black pupil in the center of her irises and successfully hid her curves behind a fluid, smooth layer of silk that left more to imagination then at sight. Ever since she had known herself she had had a preference for dark colors, especially black. It was only evident why her attire was this extent of macabre.

“I hope I am not disturbing you. I only wanted to thank you both for receiving me inside your home.”
A corner of her mouth lifted as the last word was spoken, stitching the former smile into a mischievous grimace that faded just as fast as it appeared. Home, was not a concept she tolerated.

The edges up of her lips pulled up in a slight smile when Ambrosia saw that Jax had relaxed. Even if it was only by a little bit, that was better than nothing. However, the dark-haired woman remained fairly silent. This conversation had seemed to go from the small group of three to focusing on Amaranthe and Jax, an event which did not bother Ambrosia in the slightest. She was perfectly content to stand by and listen for the moment. She did not have to wait long for another guest to appear though, and this one was actually familiar to her.

Sensitive ears easily detected the soft click of a latch as the ornate wooden doors which lead into her home were opened. Golden orbs flickered with curiosity at the sound as the woman wondered who could have entered this time. By this point, there were enough people residing within the castle that it could have been someone brand new or guest returning from a venture outside. With her back turned to the door it was entirely impossible for the Head-Mistress to determine which group the newcomer belonged to.

Only a moment later, the pleasant melody of Angelique's voice danced to her ears. In a single graceful motion, Ambrosia turned on her heel to face the female vampire. This caused the black cardigan she wore to billow out slightly before coming to rest around her once more. A gentle smile settled upon Ambrosia's lips as her eyes met with the other woman's.
"Greetings, Angelique." Her fingers were intertwined and her hands rested against her abdomen. "You are not disturbing us in the slightest, and I am glad that you chose to accept our invitation. I trust your rooms were to your liking?"

Gage's silver eyes took in everything as he returned at last to the castle. It didn't seem as though anything had changed during his absence. He opened the door wide and stepped inside. As he paused in the entrance, allowing his eyes to adjust to the dimmer interior lighting, he ran one hand through his dark hair, slicking it back away from his face in one movement. His delicate features were neutral as he looked from place to place, noting the location of everyone in the room with that one look.

He felt out of place as he stood there in silence. He wasn't sure if he was ready to return to his private quarters, or if he would prefer to explore, and as such decisions evaded him, it caused the smallest of frowns between his eyebrows. Why did he have to be so damnably indecisive? He blew a stray hair out of his face as he thought in silence, frustration building in his nerves as he tried to decide what he wanted to do. The black cloak he wore over simple black jeans and a dark red shirt stayed quiet around his feet, almost like a statue.

Come away little lamb..

Come away little lamb come away to the

Ambrosia's hand trailed along the wall as she wandered through the halls of her home. It was fairly silent in the castle right now, not that she viewed this as a bad thing, and she had already finished her work for the day. There were a few people whom she wanted to pay a visit to later, but that could wait. For now, she just felt like walking around.

Amaranthe had returned; that made her happy, truly it did, but she couldn't help thinking about a certain resident of theirs who had yet to return. Amaranthe had Rafe, Elyra just...wasn't around, and, as much as she loved them, her pets would only ever be close friends to her. Ambrosia sighed softly then shook her head. What was she doing? What good would getting depressed over something like this do? None, that's how much. She shook the thoughts from her mind and continued down the hall. Soon enough, Ambrosia found herself in the castle's foyer.

Her golden gaze swept over those standing below, curious as to who was there. Honestly, the woman had no idea how many times she'd ventured here within the past week. There had been so many new arrivals; plus some old ones returning from their trips. A moment later, Ambrosia's eyes widened as they fell upon a familiar figure. At first, she blinked to make sure that this wasn't her mind playing tricks on her. With that confirmation, a brilliant smile spread across her features as she descended the left staircase.

Truth be told, she was overjoyed to see him again and it took a little bit of self-restraint to keep from running over to the male.
"Something wrong Gage?" Ambrosia inquired once she saw the look on his face. He seemed relatively still too, which led her to believe he was thinking about something. The question was: What was on his mind?

Kohaku Futari

The sun shone high in the sky, the rays of light fighting against the bitter cold earth below. It was the mid afternoon and the sun was beginning it's descent towards the end of the earth, it will be dark by then and Kohaku didn't want to be in the middle of a forest during the night. It was the first time he had been to this area, so information on beasts and animals were new to him, leaving him vulnerable to the more aggressive beasts of the wood. With the castle in the distance Kohaku was relieved he wouldn't have to creep through the trees looking behind his back every five seconds.

Through the increased pace of his footsteps he reached the front doors of the castle in around an hour from his last point. The castle seemed much bigger now that he had got up close. The doors were large and luxurious, but gave off an uneasiness about it. Placing a hand on the hard, sturdy double doors he pushed them slightly ajar, peeking through the gap. The entrance hall was well furbished, equipped with everything to make it easily a five star hotel. Inhaling deeply he pushed the door further, stepping inside and closing it gently behind himself.

Shuffling his shoulders and adjusting the clothing on his body he scanned the room. How odd. There was no reception or any form of desk. Just a room with two staircases leading up and separating into what could only be the other sections of the castle. Looking around again he spotted a gathering of people. They seemed unknowing of his presence which put him into a shy and uneasy state. Walking towards the group quietly he silently cleared his throat and spoke up.
"E-Excuse me", he started keeping his calm as he tried to pull at least someone's attention towards him. "This is Trinity Castle, right?", finishing his sentence he stood there tense, not wanting to intrude on the group's conversation.

User ImageTik tok no time to lose! I'm saving up this dream for you.
✦•·.·´¯`·.·•✦•·.·´¯`·.·•✦•·.·´¯`·.·•✦•·.·´¯`·.·•✦•·.·´¯`·.·•✦

The chill wind stuck the magnificent castle and howled through the forests that surrounded it, bringing in the much familiar scent of pine trees whenever the grand entrance doors were opened. Ah, what a delicious scent it was. It so much reminded Tikus Nachtsbane of his beloved motherland and of the mountain range he'd called home.

Whenever the doors were opened the little alp would pry his eyes from the tome he was studying and watch the incomer scurry off to whichever part of the castle they were supposed to be. After that Tik would lose interest in the person, shift his position on the splendid, cream coloured lounge then reposition one of two annexes in a comfortable reading position. He would then flick through the pages with a glazed look upon his face. He'd already read both the Pet and Master/Mistress annexes several times over and had yet to find anyone who suited. When he had first arrived he'd been dreaming of all the easy pickings he'd be able to force his art upon. So far none had struck his interest. They were either too easy or too dull. Over the past one-and-a-half months he'd remained quiet, for the most part, only leaving each inhabitant to wake in the night after shocking nightmares. It had been the servants who had suffered more. Since no pet and no master had presented itself to him he'd distracted himself with those people tended not to notice: the hired help. Alas, Tikus was sick of that game. None of them were all that interesting.

Kicking the book on the floor, Tikus rolled around the couch in a restless sort of way. It was the middle of the day, when Tik would normally be snoozing, but he was too irritated to sleep. It had been so long since he'd had a good fright night. How he missed going out with the other "Unseelie" and terrorising the city of Inta, Russia. There was one person who he could torment, but she really was way to easy. The only reason he'd wanted to toy with her was because she already was a toy. Something to do with her powers, which she adamantly stated was not magic, meant the silliest things happened to her. In one meeting he'd seen more havoc than in any of the days and nights he'd spent tormenting the people of the castle. Sure, he'd pestered her for a few nights but there was no challenge in her. Yes, Fiona had a violent, murderous streak he could poke into action but she could do that on her own.

'Das ist langweilig!' the alp yowled, sounding like a cat that had just woken up.

Tik jumped off the couch and stomped his oversized feet on the marbled tiles.

'Ficken!' he shouted at the air. 'Ficken, hassen, brennen!'

He would have kicked the Pet Annex too if it wasn't for the pretty boy on the current page. He was new, very new. Tik crawled over and crouched in front of the book. The page was a little sticky, perhaps from being new, and had clung to the page in front of it. In Tik's dazed boredom he mustn't have noticed it. The jolt of throwing the tome to the floor must have loosened it. Tik played his fingers across the photograph as his eyes scanned the writing. A Cheshire grin crossed his face and there was a twinkle in his eye. With that wicked look plastered on his face he bit his gatsby Tarnekappe and tugged it in his mouth in a way not too dissimilar to how a dog played tug-of-war with its owner.

Drow were always so much fun to mess with, not as much as naive humans but more interesting than any other mythical being. The ones that ran away from the Erdloch were always so high strung, as though they expected their goddess to turn them into nasty beasts at any moment. They had this sense of moral superiority, claiming at least they acknowledged the evil that dwelt inside every being. All one had to do is push them and all their born-again goodness would be destroyed. Quillie also had the tragic love story to play with too. Oooo, this was going to be an exciting game!

The alp picked his nose as he continued to read Quillie's profile. When some of it stuck to the page he brushed it off onto the floor and shook his hand. Icky. The drow, dark elf, or whatever he called himself sure had written a lot about himself. Already ideas were playing through the nightmare artist's mind. There had to be ropes! And bite marks, lots of bite marks in obscure places! He could play up the sacrifice thing too. One thing was for certain though; Quillie had a sore spot for his dead lover. Why else would he write four whole paragraphs on how much he loved the other man? Pictures of the drow tied down, bitten and moaning for release played through Tik's head, not because he was a sexual creature but because Quillie was. Oh, how wonderful it would be to make Quillie's head spin from lack of oxygen! When he woke up he'd be gasping for air and stumbling around like a leper! Tikus Nachtsbane was now committed to his pet project. He would turn everything Quillie against him. Given how well he'd managed to crack the born-again drow he was sure he could try his hand at an evil one.

Now was the time to plot and scheme. It was time to hoard and investigate. It was time to disappear.

Persocom Twins...

The twins left the castle as they came from the entrance. It was almost backyards how they were leaving from where they were suppose to enter. However, they were mapping the castle. So, what other way than from the beginning? The two walked to the front gates as they scanned their surroundings each step of the way. "This bush seems to be low in its nutrients. This shall be corrected." The one on the left said as she went towards a weak bush. She lifted her hand above it and with the twist of the wrist, her arm opened up to reveal a small hose. The hose soon watering the bush as the twin did so precisely to ensure the bush's health. Meanwhile, the other twin scanning the gates of the castle.

"Many have passed here. Fingerprints still fresh from a few entering only moments ago. Should we have files of them as well?" She asks her sister. The other twin looking up from the bush to her as she said,"Perhaps, if such information is needed and/or requested." The twins then both turned to the castle as they began to scan it entirely from the outside. One covering the left side as the other the right side. Once complete, they met back at the entrance.

"Scans indicate more rooms then calculated." One says as she begins to tap her forearm. From there, the arm opened to a light blue screen to which she began to type into as she labeled their new part of the map the "Entrance". " Very well then, we should proceed at a quicker pace if we are to finish." The other replied as she looked around before stopping at the sky.

"Scans will have to finish until next morning. Daylight's time is decreasing...and we must scan the castle during the day to ensure we do not miss a single detail." She says, beginning to leave. Her sister soon following her as the two left to the castle and went to their room.

Boy sighed to himself with a slight shake of his head. She made things so complicated, so hard. What was it about her that made him feel so helpless? Wait, he already knew that part; she was giving him a choice. But what happened if he made something she hated? Surely he’d be punished, and there was no way he wanted any part of that. Why was she trapping him so? But wait, he already knew what she liked as far as meals go. Meat, lots of vegetables, and a filler. Perhaps he’d make her a Cornish Hen, stuffed with parsley and garlic, then smothered in butter and baked until golden. Asparagus, steamed, then salted and buttered lightly, perhaps spiced with the slightest touch of garlic. As for the filler, a nice pasta would do, maybe angel hair pasta with a white sauce. Yes, that sounded perfect. Of course, he’d strive to make everything beautiful so she could feel as if the meal was cooked by a fine chef instead of a mere slave.

But what to do in the meantime? Ambrosia was going to work for a while, so what was he going to do? He figured that her room was already cleaned; the servants took care of the rest of the castle. He supposed he could sit in the tub for a while, rinse off the salt water a bit. Perhaps he’d even break out his butler uniform and get properly dressed. Of course, she never did give him a dress code, but that was no excuse to have been dressing the way he had. With a quick glance to the basket, he smiled with a light exhale. Of course, there was still taking care of the contents of the picnic. And since it was improper to eat in front of one’s master, he could now get himself something while she was busy. How could he have forgotten this? This surface world really was starting to toy with his ability to think clearly. Or was it this castle?

Even as they entered the foyer, Boy kept his attention on Ambrosia, and on being the very example of a good slave. He kept his eyes focused on the floor ahead of him, and he kept silent. It wasn’t because he didn’t want to talk, it was just improper. It was also that he couldn’t think of anything else to say. What more was there? He’d asked his question, she’d answered, and hadn’t said anything that indicated that she wanted to continue. There were no other questions in his mind, so there was no need to ask anything more.

~Doctor Samuel Rhebik~

Location: The foyer, just in front of the doors.
Mood: Nervous, Timid, Confused
Status: Just arriving (that means first post OOC, woo!) at Trinity castle, being dropped off and left in front of the castle without a word from the person who took him there. Armed with nothing but a small suitcase full of clothes, and still nervous from the fact there are people hunting him who want him dead, he makes his way into the castle, not knowing what awaits him inside...

__________________________________________________________

The car door slammed, and that was apparently the cue for it to speed off back down the way it had come. Not the boy turning around to thank the silent driver who had scarcely said a word the whole time, not, a gentle wave of gratitude from him, or the doors opening up for whoever lived there to greet him. It was as though the person didn't want to be there longer than was absolutely, positively necissary. It made Sam shiver a little. Was there something dangerous here? Surely not. He trusted his boss... she knew someone who knew a place where he would be safe. She had even given him a letter to present to the owner of the castle- not that he knew it was a castle at the time, just that it was far away and safe- explaining what brought a strange, portly little teenage boy genius to his or her doorstep, and that the letter would be taken in confidence because of who it was from. The boy ehld on tightly to that very latter, clutched in his hand and pressed to his soft breast.

With a nervous swallow, Sam picked up his suitcase, a cheap, second-hand thing that was nearly falling apart he had bought purely out of desperation, and made his way to the door. He lifted one of his hands, with it's short, sausage-like fingers, curled it into a ball, and knocked.

Nothing.

Knock, knock, knock.

Still nothing.

Was no one home? What should he do? Go back the way he came. No... it was a few hours by car along the back roads, but for him it would be a few days journey... and he had no food or water. And he might have grown up in rural Georgia, but he didn't know as much woodscraft as most boys his age knew. He wouldn't survive a hike that long, and with no gear. Which meant that he had to go inside... unless the door was locked. He prayed quickly- though he was not entirely religiois, being agnostic, but there were some good ol' southern habits he would never shake- that this would not offend whoever lived there, or owned the castle, and pushed the door open. Just a crack, but enough for him to call through.

"H-hello?" He called out, so quietly at frist from nerves that he had to clear his throat and call out again. "Hello? My name is Sam... Samuel Rhebik... I was told I was expected... Um... I-I'm coming in..." he said, and quite quickly, as though afraid of something from outside, he slipped through the crack he had made in the door, and pushed it closed behind him. He held on tightly to his luggage and letter, as though they would protect him.

He was suddenly dazzled by the beauty of the foyer. It was lovely. And... there were people there. Some of them not too far from the door? Had he simply not been heard over the various conversations going on? He did not give most of the people a sideways glance, let alone a full-on glance, else he would ahve seen that there was some really weird people in the foyer there. But, instead, he just looked around and tried to listen, waiting to see if there was someone he should see about explaining his visit there. Perhaps the owner, or someone who knew the owner... but who?

He first noticed a pair of twins with... was that blue hair? How... odd. He opened his mouth to speak, and even lifted a hand up as if in greetings, but she must not have seen him, as she simply proceeded to leave the foyer. He stopped for a moment, then looked over to the nearest person he could see. So he slowly crept up to her, even though she she speaking to someone else, and quietly waited for Ambrosia to finish speaking with Gage, coughing gently not as a way to get her attention, but because he genuinly needed to cough to clear his throat.

As the female awaited Gage's response she heard not one but two new people enter the foyer. The first approached and voiced a question, one which made her chuckle softly. Before the Head-Mistress could turn fully and respond, the second newcomer had approached her as well. Honestly, it sometimes made Ambrosia wonder if there was some sign invisible to only her that pointed her out as one of the owners. It was probably the way she held herself though. Well, that or luck.

Ambrosia smiled apologetically at Gage. It wouldn't be wise to ignore her guests, especially when they had come to her for help and Amaranthe was likely to yell at her if too many Ambrosias showed up in the foyer again.
"Mind waiting a moment? Or would you come by my room later?" She waited for his answer before turning to the pair of males with a gentle smile, which just so happened to be shortly after Samuel coughed.

"Yes, this is Trinity Castle. I am Head-Mistress Ambrosia, one of the owners of this place. Welcome to my home, both of you. Might I inquire your names?" The younger gentleman looked familiar, Samuel was his name if she remembered correctly, but the other was not. Perhaps he was another who had simply stumbled across them? No...that couldn't be the case, he had known where he was after all. A puzzling thought indeed.
