Green Tent "Heh maybe. OR MAYBE, You're stuck with it ~forever~" Bul teased Mei with a crooked smile.
"With the hair? Huh?" he snorted still smiling, her description oh-so-vague. "So where did you go anyway? You vanished from the canyon so fast I didn't have a chance to stand by you," he asked curiously. "Where did EVERYONE go after that anyway?"

Green Tent
After what felt like a long and exhausting trip, Bea was relieved to be back in Halloween safe and sound. It seemed she was always the late one in her group. Bea looked around the room for her team and at a glance she found Bul almost immediately. Though, he seemed busy talking to Mei, so she moved on to look for another member.
"Ah, Willow!" the sight of the tiger ghoul once again caught her attention.

Green Tent
Cady stumbled in shortly after her other teammate.
But she wasn't looking for her companions - she only had eyes for the spookies.
Despite her various injuries, she happily ignored the other tents - they didn't have FOOD, after all!

Blue TentNatalia had been listening quite intently to the ghost ghoul's conversation with Malodore, catching and storing his name as it was passed along. Yes! Yes, his--it's name was Malodore. Before completely forgetting her manners, the monster offered it a wave, before readjusting herself to face her zombie companion.
She would have commented on Mort's difficult nature, particularly after they had survived so much...but her lips stayed shut, a half smile lifting at one corner in the slightest hint of amusement. Needles should really be the most welcomed part of the field-trip!
When addressed, Natalia straightened up in her seat with a wince. "Me? Oh, uh well my wounds are not nearly as bad. Could probably use a cleaning maybe...but..." Beneath the pile of Mort's parts on her lap, the torso of her uniform was glistening ever so slightly, holes where shards of rock amongst other projectiles exposing reddened flesh underneath. It was painful, but survivable. Mort needed the most tending to. Smiling completely then, she nodded her head and scooted closer so the limbs were more easily assessable.
"I can head over to the green tent when he is all fixed up. There are others who could really use your help, do not worry about me."

BLUE TENTQuietly, Mort began to sip from the cup as offered. Hmm . . . cherry flavored, he thought. Normally that flavor was one of the worst types in medicine, but in this case it was alright, even soothing. Or maybe he was worse than he thought and his body was happily welcoming any remedies from its struggling health.
Malodore had a funny way of speaking, like Toby did. So formal! He felt like he was more bumbly than usual.
"S'fine, yiss. Is ak-shep-tibal," Mort agreed, trying out the word and wanting very muchly to have his arms back on. He then gave Natalia a pleading look, like a child would his mother. "Please to stay until Mort is better?"
It was so quiet here - most of the students had been seen by now, though he could hear Mei's voice from the green tent. Such a far cry from the battlefield and the popcorn-couch room . . . Mort's ears almost seemed to ring from the lack of noise. Or maybe that was just another sign that he should stop struggling and let the good doctor do his . . . her . . .
"What are you?" the zombie finally asked, blinking.

Green TentThe ghoul's face softened upon seeing the patchwork boil, knowing that he was alive and well. ....Was he? Edel scanned for the damage – Moure still seemed a little worn out. Then again, who wasn't? She might have noticed it in the room of mirrors earlier – she wasn't looking too pretty too.
“I'm glad you're alright too...” Her tone did express relief, though it wasn't coupled with excitement, joy, euphoria. It wasn't that she was not happy to see Moure alive, she was. However, the atmosphere in the tent and basically the entire gym was dour. Everybody was weary. Everybody was sad. It was hard to reciprocate a smile but she tried.
Edel did, perhaps, feel a little better as Moure pulled her in for a quick hug. At least, there was some one there for her.
“Yes.....no” The frost demon was quick to reassure him that she was alright, but that was changed after a pause. The damage was more psychological that physical. Numbness shielded her from the true effects and trauma of what she had been through; the ghoul was sure those memories would begin to haunt her some time later. Only thoughts about Red, the hunters, the future flooded her head. She wasn't feeling quite like herself right now.
“We have to do something,” she told Moure quite firmly, in some way assuring him that what she meant by “no” wasn't so much about herself but rather, how she felt about the entire field trip. The ghoul had told him about the threat the hunters posed and she was also somewhat sure that Lizzy and Lattice might have told some of the others about what the hunters could do. “Everybody should know, everybody needs to know” she said definitively. The frost demon stole a quick glance at some of the boogeymen around, wondering if they had gotten the information and were doing something about it. It still made her sick that she had no idea that hunters existed until now, or that Halloween had a suitable answer for them. Even Professor Red ....
“Not now though...” she added on softly, a little later. Judging from the atmosphere, it might be better that the events of the field trip not be brought up until a little later. She could hear some of those around her crying, still.
“Spookies?” Edel reached out to the platter of special spookies that the green tent provided, offering it to the patchwork boil.. They would also serve to change the topic of the conversation into something less .... sombre. It did seem having Moure around was starting to cheer her up a little.

Purple TentSiddie nodded a little. She, too, wanted to get out of here. But - "You don't need to be seen to for anything else, do you? Are you still hurt?" If she took Sammy back to her room while the zombie ghoul still needed actual medical help, and Sammy got worse because of it, Siddie would never forgive herself.

Green Tent
The idea of being stuck with this..gash..a scar from that battle was enough to make the doll cringe at the very thought. "Well, I sure hope not! Unless their weapons had some sort of effect that keeps me from healing it, I will be rid of it within a few days--I hope." Elbowing him lightly in the stomach, she settled down beside him again.
"Yeah," Sitting up to look up at him again, "You know..it looks like he put a lot of effort into it--" That probably didn't help much either. "--he wielded a large scythe." That would probably do it.
Shrugging at his other question, she really had no idea how to answer, since she had no idea herself. "I don't know..some room with a couch and skelevisions all over the room to give us a view of what was happening on the field. I uh..I fell asleep for most of it though.."

Blue Tent"He's alright, pup." LW said quietly, looking down at the fluff near her feet. "I know he's alright." She just simply would not accept any other answer. "They all have to be." The she-wolf bent down to ruffle Jove's fur affectionately before standing and glancing over her shoulder at Tybalt.
LW tried not to groan hearing the black dog. Damn. She had really been hoping that the lack of stinging pain back there meant the slice hadn't been too bad and there was no need for any treatment. But clearly she'd been asking too much. And judging from Tybalt's reaction, it was a little worse than she'd initially given it credit for. Couldn't have just been something small and simple she could slap a band aid over and call it good.
"Err...I-It was during the battle with the humans. The first one. Before I found you guys." She added, realizing Tybalt had been locked up during that fight.
She winced and gave Tybalt one of those looks that said she was seriously thinking of bolting right then and there. Did she really need it looked at? Like...really? Her gave flashed towards the Plague Doctor hesitantly, tail curling around her legs. She was not going to like this, was she?
"I...I can't check it myself, Doc. But if Tybalt thinks you should...take a look..." LW trailed off, one hand snatching Tybalt's arm. Nope, she wasn't going to like this. "Umm...well I got hit pretty good by a Hunter weapon. All I remember is something slicing across my back." She answered. Aside from that, she was not sure what it looked like. Although Tybalt's answer made her fear stitches were in the near future, hence her sudden snagging of his arm.

Blue TentMalodore nodded at the ghoul with the fluffy tail. " Va bene." It had no objection to her presence; it was clear that the zombie boil needed someone stabilizing nearby. "With your permission, then," it said as it took out the needle again, this time not flourishing it quite so much, keeping it low-profile. "And I am a plague doctor; my name is Malodore." It kept talking as it began taking limbs and putting them back in their places. "I don't believe we've met; you must be new to the Academy, si? Always a pleasure to meet a new undead face." Its words were a bit stilted, awkward; it wasn't used to cajoling patients along like this. Still, it tried, though it was hard to find something to talk about. The field trip was obviously not a good topic. Still, the work went quickly enough; Malodore had put Christof together again so many times that stitching on limbs was practically second nature now. "There now, does that feel better?" it asked when it was finished. Ol-j-man Let me know if this is acceptable, or if you'd like me to attach limbs back more slowly? XD At LW's words, it looked up and nodded at her as well. "I will tend to any and all needs, though if it is too severe I would request that you visit Nurse Cricket instead. Still, I am sure that I can assist you partially, if not fully. Be at ease," it said, opening its beak in what it hoped was a reassuring smile. Kyrieko Can you describe LW's injuries to me? :> in a PM or OOC in a quote is fine too~

Plague doctor, plague doctor . . . So he was right about the profession part, and it made sense given the sort of oddness in the boil's (ghoul's? Akdjfsdlfdsl he was terrible at determining and felt bad about it) - anyway, the way it spoke made Mort wonder if it, like Toby, was raised in a really fancy-speaking house.
If so, jealoussssss. He could only imagine that the doc was a rich kid with status, and that was saying something for most undead. And it seemed like a chill dude, working on him so quickly like that; no doubt he's had plenty of practice either on himself (or so Mort assumed) or on other patients.
So in the end, Mort was rather o 3 o at the knob. And then he remembered -
"Like Arturo. Arturo Salvatore!" Mort suddenly exclaimed, excited as his memories clicked together. How could he have not recognized that one of his favorite comic book villains was the same species as this guy? Boy, his brain was really sluggish.
But he had never met a legitimate plague doctor before! Aslkdfldskfnlsdfhthis was awesome for some reason.Sosiqui It can be slower if you want~ I think his fanboyism is gonna start showing.

Blue Tent"Arturo?" Malodore tilted its head to one side as it double-checked the stitching, reinforcing a few fixes here and there with a second row of stitches. "I'm afraid I am not acquainted with anyone by that name, alas."

Green TentMoure gave a nod, still glad that Edel was okay. As she expressed similar sentiments toward their damaged states, Moure felt for his left shoulder, one finger tracing the seam to make sure that it was still completely intact. There were a few breaks, but his double-stitching had kept the limb on. Moure had only sustained damage from that man's - Caelius' (..? That was his name, right?) - shockwave, but besides that, he was relatively intact. Moure's RPM-meter heart clenched for Edel as she tried to smile. Everything must've been so hard on her, after her team was kidnapped.
Mourer started to nod in relief as she said she was alright, pausing mid-nod to look at her with some concern. She wasn't okay? He gave her another quick glance-over, puzzled by her comment about not being alright. It dawned on him then that maybe she was refering to whatever trama she recieved inside the tent?
At her next comments, the full understanding hit Moure. And the most obvious and glaring point of that realization was that Edel had been there, in the room where Red had died. The same room that Moure had been in. And Moure hadn't known. He could've protected her. Why didn't he see her while she was there? He could've helped her! Moure gave a nod to her comments though, and responded quietly back, "We do. We will. We'll tell those who hadn't been there....Although, I think some of the older students already knew." He remembered how Bul had seemed to be targeting a specific person during the rescue, and how other students older than himself seemed to have known what the Hunters were called, too. Like Amrita. He gave a nod then, again. "But yeah, we'll make sure everyone knows. Somehow."
"Not now." He agreed, glancing around at the tramatized packs of students around them. "Eventually though. Once things have died down a little."
Moure gave another nod, holding one of Edel's hands with his own. Quietly, he mentioned, "If you ever need me, whatever the reason, just let me know and I'll be there as fast as I physically can be." Moure said, thinking that Edel probably had trauma from the entire ordeal, even if she was covering it up well. "If or whenever you need or want me around, I'll be there as fast as I can. I'll stake my Runner's reputation on that." The last bit was uttered with a slight grin, although he was being completely serious. If she ever needed him, he'd be there.
When the spookies were offered to the undead, he picked one up and gave her a thankful dip with his head. "Thanks. Have you had one?" He asked, taking a bite of the healing food. It seemed that Edel wanted to change the subject, and Moure was fine with that. So much had happened in that one night, and not much of it had been good.
Moure took another bite of his spookie and then said in a bit of a lighter tone. "So...have you played any Scario Kart recently?" He was grasping at straws (straws that would lead to a more welcoming conversation) and that was the first topic that came to his mind.

BLUE TENTMort stared at him. Stared.
o w o
"O-Only one of the best villains ever made!" he replied eventually with boyish glee. "He's a plague doctor too! And - And - wait, no spoiling. You should read The Scavengers. Awesome stuff."
And he grinned widely, poking Natalia as a means to test out one of his arms; it worked. "You too! They have a ghoul that you remind me of on the team."
Back to Malodore! "So you be undead, right? Should hang out!" 8DD For surely by staying by the plague doctor's side, he would get more smarts through, like, osmosis or something.
And not long afterwards, Mort was once again distracted; Jack, he was rather ADD with the treatment. "Scario Kart? You play that game?"

Purple Tent"Yes, Mandy. You are a fierce and terrifying bear who strikes FEAR into all," said Alwine. She pat Mandy's hand before picking up the cot's pillow and fluffing it a few times. "I'll stay here while you rest, all right?" Alwine pulled up a chair and was about to sit in it when she felt a nudge. She looked down to see her peppermint treat, Jingleberry, holding a large stack of papers. "It looks like I'll be doing homework, at that... thank you for reminding me, Jingleberry..." She took the papers and tossed him a FEAR candy, which he nibbled on before scowling at the rest of the tent.
