[Haha yea, I saw that there weren't too many people in this location, so I stepped in~ hehe]
Teranishi Ryota... Andou made a note of that down into his notes and gave the boy, and the other girl in the room, a once-over. Just remembering their appearance and forming first impressions. Kokoa, no surname? Well, family didn't count for much in Kirigakure nowadays unless you had blue skin and gills or could manipulate your bones. She wasn't particularly talkative either though she seemed like a smart kid. He nodded when Ryota and Kokoa had stopped speaking.
"Well, they can trail back here on their own time. Let's talk more about the interesting point that Ryota-san has raised." He gave a sudden grin that was frankly unappealing and even a bit scary and hopped backwards onto the table, crossing his legs so he could sit. "Now the academy is here to instruct you on the hard and soft skills of becoming a ninja. A healthy balance for a healthy life," he quoted. "Hard skills, like how to throw a kunai and create chakra illusions. Soft skills, like being sensitive to danger and battle tactics."
He started to stare very intensely at Ryota, not moving from his position. "But there is something else I hope you'll take away from your experience here. And even as you continue through your shinobi career. You are going to be trained to be killing machines, or rather, mission machines. But you need to have that spark of human wisdom in you if you want to go far. If the village wanted something who could shoot arrows accurately, they could have just bought a crossbow, could they not?" Realising he'd stared at Ryota for too long, he switched focus to Kokoa. "So, Ryota-san, Kokoa-san, tell me, what do you think strength is? You have to know your target before you can reach for it, after all."

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────Feeling as if he were banished from his original class, Karasu would be in a bad mood from the moment he entered Andou's class. Which is why the moment that he walked in the door would nearly slam behind him. But he didn't seem to care much other than the noise popular bringing unwanted attention to him. It sounded as if he had just missed introductions. He would interrupt as the teacher spoke of strength. "Strength for a shinobi means to have something to protect. At the same time understanding where duty falls into the picture." He knew that for his clan duty was ALWAYS priority. But he didn't exactly believe in everything that they did.
With that thought he would find his way over to a seat around the front of the class. He didn't really have to worry much about taking anyone's seat since it seemed like it was a scarcely populated class. Just how many people were in the advanced class. He would be forced to shake it off and introduce himself. "I am Karasu of the Kaguya clan. Though my aspirations aren't the same as that of the Kaguya, persay. I was originally in Bumu-sensei's class. So I know a little bit already." His voice slightly changed at the end. Scowling at the mention of Bumu's classroom. He made friends there before he had to miss school for awhile. Would that be all gone now?

Andou ignored the door slamming, but turned his head at the uninvited response. He peered at Karasu for a few moments after the boy finished talking, not saying anything. The boy didn't seem to hold much conviction in what he was saying about strength. Or maybe there was something holding him back from embracing his definition fully. But Andou would wait and see to confirm whether his suspicions were correct.
"You guys think for a moment before giving me your answer. It's an important issue, all right?" he said to Kokoa and Ryota. "Tell me when you're ready." He hopped off the table and made his way to Karasu, making a note of his name.
"You're pretty atypical for a Kaguya boy. Though you probably don't need me telling you that. How's Bumu-san doing?" Andou kneeled down and rested his head between his hands, with his elbows on Karasu's table so that the two were eye-to-eye. Once in front of him he gave him a smile that could have killed a hundred puppies. He meant no hostility behind that and his deathly smile was just due to his bone structure, but it wasn't really obvious to most people he interacted with. "So, how far ahead are you with your studies? What have you done so far in the academy?" He cocked his head.

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────"Well I suppose that did sound a little mechanical, huh?" He said to himself under his breath just before the teacher approached his desk. As he leaned over to be almost too close for comfort to Karasu, Karasu had to force himself not to fidget in his seat. It just felt kind of.. awkward. Karasu softly let his eyes fall shut as to not look at the man's smile. It was a little creepy but it was far from intimidating after dealing with the elders of the Kaguya. "Was she always so lazy? I think it's a little far fetched for the academy to allow her to teach the advanced students." He had a little disgust in his voice as he said advanced. It was almost as if he were just bitter. His eyes opened to show more passion than before. It was a look that could kill.
He stared down his new instructor for a few seconds hoping that he would break that smile down. There was something in his head that just suggested that the smile wasn't real. It was a little too off putting to be real. "Apart from just general knowledge... I have learned chakra molding by learning the hand signs and executing them successfully. I have learned Bushin no jutsu and Henge. I started to train Kawarimi no Jutsu as well, but I haven't mastered it yet.. I had to miss school for a while because my mother got really sick..." His voice started to trail off at the end of that last sentence and he looked off to the side. It was almost as if that fire in his eyes got completely extinguished in that moment.
After a second he would look back at his instructor. He looked a little balanced out after forcing the thought out of his head. Finally he would take a moment to look the man up and down. Thinking about it, he didn't know anything about his instructor. "Can I ask a little about the man that is going to be instructing me? I missed introductions." Karasu's eyes were slightly lidded now. Not as if he didn't care.. but this was just how he usually looked if he wasn't overly fired up.

Something to protect, triggered his head somehow. He thought very hard what to protect and what for? "That can be easy for you but I got nothing to protect, no one to protect." he said in his head looking down at his book.
He wondered about the man for instructing him because he was late. "What if you don't have anything to protect? " He paused for a few seconds "Like me"

"Hmm. Very very good. You can help the beginners in this class until you get promoted." Andou waited until Karasu finished talking before replying. He thought he had a good idea how Karasu's mother was doing, but didn't feel familiar enough with him to confirm his suspicions. And now was really not the time either.
"Bumu-san likes to go for the self-study approach, doesn't she," Andou whispered, putting one curved hand to the side of his mouth in a conspiratorial manner. "It works, but it's not so suitable for beginner students though. In fact-" He rose, and his next words were loud enough for Ryota and Kokoa to hear as well. If he was fruity enough he would have whirled dramatically, but he wasn't drunk enough to do that yet. "Self-evaluation is an important skill in life, one that's crucial for improvement," he declared. "Keep that in mind during your classes, even with me. Best to cultivate this mindset early on."
"Once again," he continued, "for the benefit of Karasu-san here. My name is Saitou Andou. Andou-sensei is fine, anything else is not." He smiled the same deathly smile he had given Karasu before turning to Ryota. "So, Karasu-san's definition of strength is protecting what you hold dear. You might not have something you want to protect just yet, and that's fine. But what's your definition of strength? You must know since it's what you're aiming for."
"There's no wrong answer. There are only different answers. So just speak up. It's not like you will be held to those definitions for life. You can change them, in fact, you are the only ones who can. So, Ryota-san, Kokoa-san. What shall we be aiming for?"

Koka thought long and hard on this question. It seemed like a tough question to her, What is strength?? she thought over and over. Getting worried about the question she started to drum her fingers on the desk. What is strength?!! kokoa listened as Karasu answered for himself. Ugh she thought Mine is going to sound stupid compared to his! Why dis he go first, im doomed.. Ya sure no wrong answer, everyone knows when a sensi says that there really is a wrong answer. And with my luck itll be mine!! koka cleared her throat, Its either now or never she thought as she looked over at the sensi. "umm Andou-sensi, i think i have um answer.." Kokoa paused to collect her thoughts then continued, "I think stength for a shinobi is to fight for people who cant, to protect them with any costs. To keep fighting untill it is physically impossible and to ask nothing in reward for saving lives." Wow... That didnt sound as stupid as i thought it would. Kokoa thought as she looked around the room.

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────Karasu grew slightly quiet as the other boy, Ryota, spoke. He thought to himself Everyone has something to protect whether they realize it or not. But his attention was still on the teacher. He had never though about the self evaluation being Bumu's tactics. His expression remained semi-blank. Just absorbing what Andou was saying. He would simply nod in acknowledgement for now.
The younger girl would answer after obviously taking the time to think about it. He lost that expressionless pose when he heard it. He cracked a small sarcastic smile as he spoke underneath his breath. "That would be having something to protect.." He would give a small sigh as he finished to cover up that he whispered anything, hoping to not be heard. He would stretch out in his chair so that he would fully wake up. His bones would pop in a very unnatural way. More so than if he were double jointed. It was likely that these students didn't know what it was to be Kaguya but his new sensei might understand it.
As Karasu was stretched out and feeling limber he would move to stand up from his seat. He pulled the strap on his shoulder over his head and set down the satchel he was wearing on the seat of his desk. "Self evaluation may be important.. but a little direction would be nice. Speaking of that.. since im a little ahead I would like to get started.. some kind of training to work on while the other two play catch up." He would be looking at Andou or trying to catch his attention. Karasu didn't really like sitting around. Book work wasn't really his thing, he preferred to be physical most of the time.

"That's fair enough. I hope you'll be able to do that definition honour. Ryota-san, we're in no rush. Just think about it and tell me when you're ready." Andou dropped the pressure on the two and walked to the front of the room. He eyed the contortions of Karasu's bones curiously for a moment before replying.
"Of course. You can do anything you want, as long as you stay in this room. Chakra molding or pushups. If you want to learn the Kakuremino no jutsu, I can instruct you as well afterwards."
He turned to Kokoa and Ryota and made the Tiger seal. "Now, can anyone of you tell me what this is. And try to copy my hand position too to the best of your ability."
[Andou doesn't know that Kokoa knows all the jutsus except Kakuremino... cos she didn't tell him. lol]
[Karasu's training are extra credit, so they are all 10/10]
[Ryota can choose to either get only 5 successes for reduced experience points (but the same stat rewards), or do the full 10/10 for full exp.

((I had to finist my research paper, which I completed blaugh ))
"OK," he remembered doing the hand a few hours. "Is it a Tiger hand seal?"
He questioned his sensei for not being sure of his answer. Damn, I should have looked up my notes I took. Holy, damn I'm an idiot.He thought to himself. "I think it's a Tiger seal, anyway." he started itching the back of his head with one eye close and one eye open and then did the Hand seal his sensei did.

Feeling like she had already did this, Kokoa quickly formed her hand to make the tiger seal. She ploked at it and smiled happy to know she remembered some of the hand seals from earlier. Kokoa then looked back at Andou. "Sensi, i feel like i already covered this stuff, you do know i did preety much every jutsu except Kakuremino right?" Kokoa said hoping she wouldnt have to repeat previous lessons.

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────From what Andou-sensei was saying, it sounded as if Karasu would be on his own for training until the others caught up. That was unless he wanted to hold the other students hands and walk them through training. He would form the ram hand sign. To try and mold his chakra and hold focus. He felt the chakra move through his body as it circulated through his body's chakra network. It must have been working like it was because his mind was clear and his breathing was steady. His eyes grew slightly lidded once again, not paying the other much attention. Karasu got a little distracted as the girl spoke. Perhaps he wasn't the most advanced one in the class. Or perhaps she just didn't know everything there was to learn. But then again he only knew two jutsu. Mostly because he had started classes a little bit late when in Bumu's classroom. Karasu was starting to focus his chakra on a certain area. He was trying to adjust the density in the bones of his right foot and ankle. He needed to start training to further himself in his clans techniques. 1d20(10)+chakra control(12)=22 Success

"It is a Tiger hand seal indeed," Andou said, pleased. "Though you're doing it a bit wrong, but we can work on that." He noted that Kokoa assumed the seal with a certain degree of familiarity, and his suspicions were confirmed by her next question. Why didn't she tell him when he asked, though?
"Nope!" he said in a lilting but only pseudo-cheerful tone of voice. "You should have said. OK, change of plans for you then, Kokoa-san. You can join Karasu-san in the corner and work on some chakra molding until the end of class. You can help each other and go over what you did in class, get to know each other, help Karasu-san with the theory of Kawarimi and all that. I'll teach the both of you some new things tomorrow." Strictly, Kokoa should be in Bumu's class, but there was something about her that looked... off. She would need a bit more instruction before getting promoted.
OK, back to Ryota. "Congratulations, Ryota-san," he said, folding his right hand languidly around his left hand. "You have won a one-on-one lesson from me on the basics of chakra control and hand seals. Go to the back of the room and find the scroll on hand seals, then bring it back here. Start with the Tiger seal, since it's the one that channels chakra best, so you'll know when you get it right. I expect you to know all 12 seals by the end of today's lesson."

Kokoa was a pittle embassrased to have missed the part where she was supose to tell Andou what training she had already done but he didnt seem to mind to much so kokoa sai her thanks and moved over to where Karasu was working. She didnt want to distract him since it looked like he was working hard so Kokoa did a freindly nod towards him and started to focus on the chakra molding herself. She decided to start off easy and go from there and overhearing how the tiger sign was supose to be preety dang easy she formed the tiger sign and focused herself on her chakra flow. She felt subconsiusly pushing the chakra into her hands and soon she could see her chakra spilling over her hands and felt the intensity at which her chakra spilled out.

"Thank you Andou-sensei." He bowed his head after hearing his teacher congratulating him. Then he followed his teacher's instructions and went to the back of the room and grabbed a scroll on hand seals. He then went to the front of the room where his sensei is and brought the scroll to Andou.That should be easy enough. He did another tiger hand seal following with an ox hand seal."How's this?" He asked
