Eyes narrowed, she accepted his hand and got off the table. "Occasionally, not regularly, and not bugs, spiders." The grunt corrected him. Yes, she was terrified of spiders. "That many legs is just... creepy." Pouting, she looked off to the side, in the direction of the Pokemon. If that thing ended up on the ground again she was going back on the table.
"And I like bats. And ghost types. And poison and psychic and most bugs, but spiders... ah no." No no no no no no no. Just... no.
Shivering one last time and curling her arms around her, she directed her gaze back at Shadow. There was one topic she wasn't going to let drop. "Why are you so afraid to show your face?"

Shadow shrugged. "They only have six. Weedles have way more. Besides, if you ask me, ghost pokemon are the ones you have to worry about. No legs is worse than too many. You can't hear them when they sneak up behind you."
Sighing, the young man released her hand before she brought up the topic of his face again. "Oh. I'm not afraid. I just...don't feel like it. I might get yelled at by the costume staff," he countered.

He was glad when Izumi came along with him, not really thinking much of it, he had a few thoughts of his own going through his mind. So when there were suddenly arms being wrapped around him, and a body pressed against the jacket he wore. This caused him to stop walking, mostly becasue he didn't want to go knocking her down... okay that was a lie, it caused him to stop from surprise.
Hid contrasting eyes blinked and widened as eyebrows arching, surprised turning to look over at her. "Best friend huh? what bout' those other girls you got there?" He wasn't sure what else to say, despite himself, he was a little flustered.
Best friend.

Izumi was quiet for a moment, only a moment. "Kay'--But you're my best best bestest friend." She mumbled into Jerome's jacket. "You're the winner!" Izumi giggled, making her halo bump into the back of Jerome's head, and gave Jerome a squeeze-hug. Someone was drunk.

Jerome stayed very quiet for a time after she said this with his head turned down slightly, face mostly hidden behind to hoodie and the mask. He didn't move either, and had one been more observant, one would think there was something wrong. But Jerome didn't remain like this for to long, before his head lifted and he chuckled lightly. "You really did have a bit more to drink, didn't ya?"
Jerome reached a strong hang over, patting it onto her shoulder, somewhat awkwardly, "I like ya Ink," He held a fist out for her, a gesture he often did for Bro when the two would bro-fist.

"I think... someone spiked the punch, maybe." Just maybe.
Izumi stared at Jerome's fist for a moment before she remembered what it was. She balled up her robotic hand and bumped Jerome's fist with her own, which elicited a giggle. Izumi moved carefully around to the front of Jerome, wobbling a little as she walked. "You're so nice. Eeevery one is so nice, but- You're the nicest." This statement was punctuated in another drunken-Izumi hug.

It was a little strange hearing someone saying these things to him... and while he wasn't going to openly shut her own and point out that she was wrong, He knew she didn't know anything about him, about the things he's done, about how he grew up. Heck, she didn't know anything about what kind of life he lived now.
But at the same time, he was somewhat glad that he could at least be a good person, even if it was just in her eyes. He felt normal around her anyway, even if he didn't really care what other people thought of him.
Again he chuckled. "Yeah, I smelled it int he drinks when Bro brought em over." When she wobbled he quickly reached a steadying hand out to her. "Ya think I'm pretty nice huh?" he asked, with a mild air of amusement. She really was drunk.

(Claire)
Alba may have paled slightly and stiffened at the sudden sound of various shrieks around the room. Looking around in what could be seen as jerky movements, the grunt let out a relieved breath when he spotted the abused little Spinarak, which was apparently the center of attention and now being carried away by a vaguely familiar person.
Unfortunately, he'd now lost sight of Inigo. He started and spun around when he heard his name called behind him, but didn't immediately recognize anyone. A blond-haired, blue-eyed young woman appeared to be looking at him with recognition, though. "Um... yes?" As with Aulus not a minute earlier, Claire did seem familiar, but Alba was being slow in piecing two and two together tonight. His almost "deer in headlights" expression probably wasn't helping him out much.

(Frost)
"There you are." Xander said with a smile when he finally found Frost again. He walked up to him and lightly touched his arm as he looked him over. "Are you alright? We can leave now if you want." There was nothing else the teen needed to do so he was more then happy to leave with Frost. Especially when the older man looked distressed, a least to him.

She just sighed. Alright, fine, he was just going to hide and her curiosity was just going to have to kill her a little inside. Curiosity killed the Meowth and all that jazz.
"Yeah, well, Weedle legs aren't all... spindly... and long... and ick. And ghosts, well, they're fun I think." Luxury shrugged, a small smile playing on her face as she remembered a certain Gengar. "Plus, sneaking up on me is fine compared to crawling up my leg. And fangs. And poison in those fangs. Come to think of it, I'm not really a huge fan of any poisons. Well, except Nidorans. They're adorable~"
... WHAT? Shut up shut up shut up! Why was it she always found herself chatting? Jeezum. Not cool, Luxury. She scolded herself, then shrugged again. "So. What kind of work do you do? You a cop?" Hey, interrogating this dude was better than spilling her guts, right? At least she managed a friendly tone, as if she'd smile and say how cool it was if he were.

"Fun...heh, yeah..." the disarmed robot murmured humorlessly. "Sounds like you've never had to live around wild ones." Behind his helmet, the young man raised a brow. This girl didn't mind ghosts, but she worried about spiders? Was this just a girl thing, or were most people this weird?
"Well I'll agree with you there," he continued. "Poison-types are pretty bad too." They'd killed someone close to him once. Perhaps unintentionally, but...didn't that make them all the more dangerous? Man, if only he could have remembered who that someone was... Ghost and poison-types, Shadow repeated in his head. Why do those sound so familiar...? He must have had a lot of exposure to them, because his mind was brimming with random facts and images of those pokemon. Now wasn't really the time, though. He'd sort things out later.
"Uh...whatever you say," he said, casting her a smirk she couldn't see behind his helmet. Nidorans seemed just as dangerous and un-cuddly as any other pokemon to him, what with their poisonous barbed spikes and all. Those things were vicious. Still, to hear this...tom-boy of a girl call a pokemon adorable was amusing in a way.
"A-a cop?!" he started suddenly, the techno voice-changer in his helmet unable to hide his evident surprise. "N-no. I'm only 16. I'd make an awful cop. Why, do I act like one?" Was she on to him? Was she a cop? Was this a test?!

Luxury smirked at the robot's response to her question, then just flat out laughed. "N-no, you most certainly do not act like a cop." Especially at a young age! "16, huh? Ah, I'm so glad I'm not that young anymore. Parents bossing you around... Course, now, if I don't do my chores I get in trouble way deeper then mother could ever imagine." The smirk still held on her face, not daring to show any pain in the words she spoke of her past, however vague or brief.
"And by the way, chill." Luxury hadn't missed the shock in the boy's voice. "I ain't a cop either, if that crossed your mind." At this she just snickered. Cop. As if.

"Well, excuse me for being young," he grumbled in response, a little put-off by the implication she was more mature than he was. Still, he wasn't quite certain what she was talking about. Parents? He didn't remember ever having any.
"...Really?" the robot asked, sounding genuinely curious. "She doesn't anymore?" Whoops. Maybe he shouldn't pry so much into others' business. "Er, sorry. Don't mean to be nosy. That, uh...I've never had to deal with anything or anyone like that." Well, there were his Rocket superiors, but it wasn't exactly the same thing. "Even if you're more free to do what you want...must have been nice to have someone worry about you."
Wow. It was like she was reading his mind. Wait...she couldn't have been...could she have? "...What kind of trouble did you say you got into, again?" he asked, careful to keep his voice down this time, but trying to sound as casual as he could.
