Leo nodded slightly, "lots of them," he said in reply before looking at the prince. he wasn't hungry, but he wanted the prince to eat. "let's go to grab a little something, master. you need to eat something as well." he stood and head for the door, wondering how many of the liquidis lumen were for sale. there couldn't be many, they had to be brought out of the tunnels after all, the princess made a rare find

Elliot had intended on eating the goose still sitting on the cart, hardly touched aside from when he ate after returning from the gardens. "Then we're going to the kitchens to get you spoiled girls warm food. Who wants to push the cart." Surprisingly Emily ran and snatched the handles, pushing the large thing toward the door. "I want to do it." She said quietly, glancing back. Elliot nodded, grabbing the tea tray as well, lifting it when Annabelle tried to make a grab for it. "These are breakable, you cannot carry this. Lily, could you open the door for us, please?" He asked, waiting as she did so, letting his sisters go out first before exiting himself. The girls moved ahead, Annabelle knowing she couldn't steal the cart from Emily without being scolded for it, and Martha could care less. "Liquidis lumen it was called, correct? It's rather similar to our own lorem lapidem, except ours obviously reads emotion. But whereas ours grows randomly in dirt, yours grows in mountains, you said?" Elliot asked, hoping to prod the other into another conversation about either himself or Falia.

Leo opened the door as instrusted and water while the master and the girls walked through. he followed after, taking the tray from the master dsibite his protests that the girls could not have it. Leo knew he'd not break the dishes on top and really, it was his duty to serve the master. when asked about the crystal he nodded, "yes, it translates to light crystal. not a very creative name-" he smiled slightly. "in tunnels and the mountains is where you will find the greatest amounts of it, master. lorem lapidem-your stone?" he said, translating the words, "it reads emotions?"

"How else would the color change?" He asked with a chuckle. "We're unsure why it does or what it looks for in a person in order to read their specific emotions. I'm the only one in this town with the ability that I'm aware of. No doubt there are more within the country, but we're unsure what the stone looks for." he said. It was curious indeed, scientists would think they'd find something, but it would always turn out to be wrong in the end. The stone was indeed a curiosity. "Like yours they naturally glow, it's when I walk with a flurry of emotions do they react, as you've seen. But yours remembers blood, your family must have lived in Falia for quite a long time. You might even be an original family member when Falia first started." He said, interested in the stone. "That would explain all the ancestors"

Leo flushed when he reaslized they were talking about the lights. of course they were talking about that, he felt so stupid for not ralizing it before, but the master had continued speaking. he nodded slightly, "yes, in a way you could say that my ancestors were one of the founding familyies in Falia," he said softly, smiling slightly and looking down. "my family has been within Falia since it's first creation. ours is one of the strongest bonds with the liquidis lumen, besides the cave dwellers who first discovered and used the stone."

"That's impressive." He said in awe. "My family is not one of the original families I don't think, we were a secondary family before the two families married. I suppose in a sense that makes us an original family, but I don't consider it since the blood is mixed to greatly from back then." He watched his sisters soon pushing the cart as a team, chattering amongst themselves. Had they been younger they would have never ignored him or whomever he had as company. "You come from an impressive lineage, Lily." Did that make him a prince as well? If so, whatever Gods existed were becoming increasingly cruel, he had saved a prince from a life as a sex slave, returning him back to his home land safe and sound and unscathed. there had to be some strings attached, what were the gods thinking? perhaps it was time to become a man of no religion.

Leo looked at the prince and then lowered his eyes, "you-could say that...i guess." he said softly, clitching the tray with slightly shaking hands, his knuckles white. he'd never spoken so much about himself before, it still freightened him to do so. he could see the master was thinking of something so he didn't enterupt. he thought about his family, something he normaly did everything he could to forget. howev er he wasn't pure blooded, he was only a half. his father was not of faie blood, his father had been human. and yet, somehow that had only made LEo stronger-at least that is what oak sensei had said. he took a small breath and forced himself to stop thinking, not wanting to hurt himself further by bringing up painful memories

"Well it is, I know of very few old families, and yours is just as old, Lily. It's very interesting." The sound of a horse neighing made him turn, spotting Martha giggle madly. "We're here!" She said, opening the kitchen doors and entering. Elliot sighed. "I forgot about her ability." and entered the kitchen behind his sisters, the place empty, though temporarily no doubt. but he looked at the table of the half-prepared dinner. Since you girls are hungry fruit will satiate your hunger until dinner. You will not have a meal nor cake, Annabelle.' he said, watching the girl reach for the unfinished dessert. He took three fruits, a pear, an orange, and an apple and gave it to the respective triplet. Martha seemed most displeased. "But you're prince! You can do whatever you want!" "As true as that is you need to have respect for others, this dinner also feeds those who work within the castle. Do you expect to eat their meal and leave nothing for them?" That silenced the short haired girl, making her nibble the peel on her orange. Elliot gave a yawn, leaning against the table and waiting for them to finish, Emily walking up. "Brother, may I see your teeth?" Without a second thought he crouched down and opened his mouth, little sister touching his canines. His were longer then hers and just barely sharper. "Do you have sharp teeth, Miss Lily?" Annabelle asked as her sister continued to inspect her brother's mouth. He didn't seem to mind. His patience had no limit. It came from having three sisters all of the same age and energy.

Leo followed them intot he kitchen and frowned slightly when he saw the master not eating, but he quickly hid the frown. he liked how the master handled his sisters, teaching them rather than just telling them and not allowing argument. he even showed his sister hsi teeth when she asked. "i do not, princess. my teeth are the same as yours i imagine." he didn't have sharp teeth but neither did he have dull teeth. they were no different from most humans teeth.

Annabelle nodded. "Just making sure. Some of our maids have teeth like Elliot.' She explained. "But only the ones with the animal ears. Why is that? Are people in Falia like that, Miss Lily?" Emily glanced over curiously, continuing to poke and prod at her brother's teeth. "You already had baby teeth? They grew out?" A small nod of an affirmative from the man. "Will mine grow to be like this?" A small shrug before he tapped the fruit, standing back up. "Finish eating." He stated, wiping his mouth of the amount of drool that formed. he wished he could read minds, Emily was curious about everything, yes, but how did she go from fruit to teeth? "What are the men from Falia like? I bet they're much more strong then our men. They live in forests ,do you guys climb trees like monkeys?" "We have a monkey maid! I've seen her climb its really interesting!" Annabelle said excitedly. "She's my favorite one!" "She has monkey traits," Elliot tried to correct, Emily speaking up and cutting him off. "She's rather hairy, I wonder if her feet look like her hands." "I dunno, she climbed with her shoes on." Annabelle responded. A hand slammed loudly on the table, the lamps flicking to a vivid red. "Finish eating, then questions back in the study." Came the stern order, triplets huddling together to finish their small meal. Brother was scary when angry, and his face was all calm! So scary, such a mean older brother.

Leo nodded, "there are some people like that in Falia, maybe more than most other places. The men there-" he looked down at his hand which were clasped in front of himself, "a-are like anywhere else i guess." He smiled, but tried to keep up with all of the questions. He was greatful when the prince called for an end to it. He placed his hand on the prince's sleeve and smiled at him, showing his thanks. his eyes turned to the girls and his smile grew, seeing them following their brother's instruations. he rest his head on the master's shoulder, understanding why he'd be unsept over the line of conversation ((Short posts, on phone ))

Elliot looked at the hand placed on his sleeve, giving a small smile to Lily as she silently thank him. The lights grew a softer and softer shade of red before returning back to white. Elliot stroked the other's hair, nuzzling her ear gently before merely resting his head on hers, continuing to watch his sisters eat. "Thank you." he murmured, ears perking, hearing shuffling in the hallway. Seems like they were returning. Patting Lily's back he stood up properly, looking at his sisters who were just finishing up, wiping their hands on a nearby towel. "When the cooks walk in you will apologize, understood?" "But why-" Elliot cut off Annabelle's whine. "Understood?" "yes sir.' The three mumbled. "And bow, when you do so. It is good to be humbled every now and then." And stood there patiently, the cooks and maids surprised to see the four heirs in their kitchen. Elliot held up a hand to keep them from paying their respects. "Merely listen." he said kindly, lowering his hand and motioning for his sisters to speak. And they did, each one apologizing for trying to steal food, not knowing they also shared food with the staff. The head chef of course said it was fine and it was no trouble at all. Elliot was not going to argue against it, gently ushering his sisters and miss lily out, thanking the chefs for all their hard work before exiting and walking back into the study. he smiled. "was that so hard?" "It tastes like vinegar.' Martha muttered, making a disgusting face as Elliot cut himself some of the obviously cold goose, eating it as he sat back down. "Now you can ask Lily your questions." "Why doesn't he add 'Miss' anymore?" Was Emily's first question.

Leo bowed as well when the sisters apologized, purely out of habit. when they returned to the study, he moved to sit at the prince's feet. he wasn't really hungry so he didn't get anything for himself, but Emily's question made him pause for a moment. he couldn't really answer that one, it was a decision the master had made himself and his reasons were his own. "forgive me, princess, but i am mearly a servant. it is not proper for my master to address me in such a way." perhaps that would satisfy them

"Aren't you older though?" Emily asked. Martha stared a moment. "You are taller." Elliot's ear flicked at this, glancing down at his short-haired sister. "I thought tall people were older." "No, brother is short." Annabelle said. "Everyone is taller than him, even with boots on. He needs bigger heels." "But then he's not manly if he has tall heels! Miss Lily is probably wearing heels!" And Martha crawled over, lifting the hem of the other's dress. Annabelle seemed revolted. "Stockings only?! You'll ruin them!" Emily lifted a foot curiously. "Your feet are calloused." She poked the ball of the foot gently. "You are not used to shoes?" Elliot was going to kill his observant sister. "Did you not wear shoes in Reta?" Annabelle asked, still slightly disgusted by the lack of shoes. Heaven forbid she even forget to wear slippers at night!

Leo's legs had been curled under him when the princess came to inspect his foot. "no, i spend my days inside, i didn't ever wear shoes." he lowered hsi eyes, "master has ordered that i wear stockings at least. they are unsual, but i am getting used to them." he hadn't thought about ruining them and wondered if he could get away with just carrying them in his pocket so that he didn't ruin them. he didn't want to be punished for destorying the sets of clothing. "i am used to being without anything to cover my feet, it is the way i was raised as well. we only wore foot coverings during the winter time when it snowed."
