Faint stumbled as the plant burst, startled by the sudden reaction. Before he was able to steady himself, he inhaled and fell asleep, falling onto Demi in the process.

As the vine burst apart, Johan attempted to run forward, away from the horde of bunnies. Even the horrible screech wasn't enough to slow him. One gasping breath of the haze left behind by the vine, however, had the reaper sagging to the ground. Out like a light.

Was it minutes or hours later that the students roused themselves from their slumber? It was impossible to tell inside of the haunted house, but one-by-one the students on the staircase and hallway paths began to wake up an drag themselves to their feet.
The bunnies were mysteriously gone with nothing to show that they were ever there except a few paw prints in the dust covering the floor.
A few lucky students would wake up with prizes in their pockets, but where had they come from? Who put them there?
There were a dozen questions left unanswered but one thing was certain: they could all continue down the paths they had been following now. The archway leading into the hallway was free and the staircase that climbed ever upwards was open once more.
As the students began to file back down the paths, some of them would suffer some residual grogginess and others still might have to deal with urges to cuddle their companions.
At least the stinky flowers were gone, right?

Levia was jolted when she realized she kicked thin air. The vines had retreated? She gave a victorious laugh, grinning widely as she swung to congratulate the others. Then the strange haze rolled through the air. The grombie watched as one by one her companions slowly lolled to the ground. While she didn't need air to sustain her completely, her body remembered the motions even as she didn't, and the strange haze entered her body.
Limbs grew heavy, her eyes droopy, and she too slid to the ground in silent slumber.

Damien Had no clue what was happening after he had his Canine catnip moment. but the sudden explosion of vines too him off guard as he fell to the floor inhaling more of the dust with Faint on top of him.

Twitching slightly, Shun's eyes eventually fluttered open as he regained consciousness. With a low groan, he sluggishly pushed himself to his feet, placing his hand on his head. He still felt incredibly groggy right now, but at least the bunnies and vine was now gone as far as he could tell. It didn't seem like there was any other hostile things around either.
Dismissing his daggers, he looked around towards the others in the area, most who were still out. Spotting Mitsu and Xiu on the ground, he shambled over towards them and crouched.
They didn't look like they were harmed, but he gave the two a light nudge to see if he could get them to wake.

Sin woke drowsily and first noticed Rosc's wing draped over her, she smiled and cuddled back against him until she noticed the hard ground. She slowly sat up and cringed at the faint bunny prints in the dust. "Ugh!" That's right they were in the haunted house...she turned worriedly and gently leaned over Rosc.
"Rosc?" She didn't want to startle him awake that was for sure. She leaned in a bit closer and brushed back a strand of his hair. "Rosciel...wake up..."
She glanced over noticing that poor Julian was passed out in a pile of feathers. Well once she got Rosc awake she'd rouse him as well and they could...continue this little...adventure.

At the nudge Mitsu gave a light groan her body beginning to shift as she stirred away. What had happened? She had started to reach for her head but the sudden memory of what had occurred flooded back. Sitting up quickly the lupine looked around. "Wh..what Bunnies.....where?" Her voice faded out again as she leaned dangerously to one side still extremely groggy.
Shifting her gaze to Shun who was by her, Mitsu reached out a hand for his sleeve. "W..what happened?" She asked trying to straighten up her form with no real results. It looked like she wasn't the only one who had been knocked out either.

poke began to arouse form her slumber as well, albeit very slowly as she was very happy to continue sleeping there. Eventually she got to her knees, groggly eyes gazing about the room in a stupor. She spied mitsu and xiu nearby, and and managed to crawl over to them.
She felt..a little weird at this point. So weird, that all of a sudden she shouted "HUGGIES!" and launched herself at the two sleeping girls each giving them a big hug

"Remind me why I'm here again?" came the mumbled words from the feather pile in the corner. Shaking his wings out a bit as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, Julian rolled himself into a sitting position to look around. Rosciel was still lying on the ground, Sin leaning over him, trying to wake him up. The other students were getting up too, some moving on.
Standing up was a bit more of a trial, but he managed just in time for movement to catch his eye. Sin's boilfriend had awaken, and it wasn't in a very good way.

Rosc couldn't stop himself.
When a hand touched him, his hand shot up, latching onto a shoulder almost where it met a soft, slender neck. It was only after that his vision flicked on and he saw he was gripping Sin's shoulder.
His hand let go as if it had been burned.
"Sin, I..." He didn't know what to say, an apology just didn't seem like it would cut it. He quickly stood and lifted her up gently by the hands, glancing over to her friend for a distraction.

Sin was watching Julian wake up when a hand shot up and grabbed her with almost bruising force. She gasped softly as Rosc let go and quickly took his hands to stand before she was knocked over. She stood for a moment looking at Rosc worried, right that was why she hadn't wanted to startle him. She gently put her hand on his shoulder and moved to stand closer to him.
"Well..that was...interesting...at least the bunnies are gone." She decided not to mention it, Rosc was obviously upset and telling him she was fine wouldn't cut it. She forced a smile for Julian feeling a bit badly now for dragging him in here. "Hey it's not so bad, so they have some scary flower effects ohhh...it's not like kittens are dropping on your head."
She glanced up as she spoke a bit nervous that maybe kittens or worse would drop down to prove her wrong. Okay good...no kittens...yet.

Shun's nudge earned a weak groan from Xiu, but she stirred only very slightly. Through the haziness of her mind, she could hear Mitsu speaking softly, but was unable to make out the other ghoul's words. Curling up a little, she was about to drift back to sleep when, from out of nowhere, there was a shout from beside her and someone suddenly jerked her into a hug.
Eyes snapping open, Xiu's first instinct was the whimper and try to pull free. She attempted to struggle for a while when she suddenly realized it was not a giant bunny that had grabbed her, but Poke. For some reason, the dragon ghoul had grabbed her and Mitsu up in a hug. Relaxing, the Baku blearily looked from Poke, to Mitsu, and to Shun.
"...W-what happened? Are you guys okay?"

It was somewhat relieving to see the two stir, though he didn't really think there was anything seriously wrong in the first place. Before he could answer Mitsu, the dragon girl had suddenly pounced on the two to hug them.
"Oi, back off," he hissed while glaring at Poke. What the hell had gotten into her?
In any case, it seemed like most of the others were stirring or were awake now. Grimacing, he looked at the girls before sluggishly pushing himself back to his feet. A part of him wanted to lay back down but he really didn't want to be resting in a place like this.
"Not sure. That vine must have had a sleep powder stored inside of it," he mumbled before letting out a yawn.

Calder 'eeped' when he felt someone bump into him, having been walking alone in the hallway for some time. It wasn't the dark that bothered him. It was the pink. SO much pink in the dark, and pink fog. Why pink fog? Ghost white was much better? Less....less.....PINK!
He was holding himself tight when the ghoul bumped into him and nearly made him drop to the ground for cover - but then he'd be closer to the pink fog. Ugh. Pink.
He liked green better.
Anything but pink.
When she apologized, he shook his head. "It's...it's fine. I'm good. Was just walking. Slowly." Oh wait. Now he had company!!!

Once again, Artemis had chickened out and covered his eyes, not wanting to see all that was happening. Damnit! How could he have been so cowardly, letting everyone show him up? This was highly embarrassing, and he was quickly soiling his name. Seething with a rage full of self-pity, he was about to pounce at the vines, before they exploded, leaving him to instantly fall asleep in mid-air, landing with a loud THUD.That would probably bruise, and Art would have no clue where it came from.
Groggily, he opened his eyes to see the others still asleep. He pushed himself up, and yawned loudly, stretching his arms once on his knees. Crawling over to Vero{/b], he pulled the spirit...boil? to his feet, rudely waking him up. "Yes, I am good with pens and pencils. Better with a needle though." He chuckled, wanting to lay a diss on the forest spirit now. But no, not right now. After they were out of this house. "But that's not the reason my name is Art. You don't need to know why."
And so, he went about, shaking the others awake. They had to get going, and get out of here.
