Daren laughed at her expression and he burst with, "It was the most horrible movie I've ever seen!" He pretended that his eyes were burned permanently. "I can never watch another romantic movie in my life," He joked with a grin. He put an arm around her and then acted as if he was Edward. He ran a hand through his hair before saying in a dark, sexy voice, "Bella. I said it would be better if we weren’t friends, not that I didn’t want to be." He gave her a look and a moment later couldn't contain himself, laughing loudly, causing everyone to glance over at them.

Dante sat silently for a few minutes. "No. That's why my mom worries so much about the things I do. She's afraid that she'll lose me too." Dante didn't say anymore about the situation. His mother and him never talked about what happened. The whole family took it hard, and they are starting to disown Dante for going down the same road. "So how was your family? If you feel comfortable talking about it."

Victoria smiled sadly, hearing his story. She stiffened when he asked about her family. She glanced away from him and down at the grass, where she picked up a blade and twirled it around her fingers. "I-I..my parents..they..." She tried to get the words out but struggled and eventually gave up. Closing her eyes, she shook her head and whispered, "I-I can't. I'm sorry." She got up and ran down to the lake, where she stood there, her dress billowing out behind her. She watched the lake sparkle as the moon reflected off of it. Tears escaped her eyes and she slowly brushed them away, eventually looking up at the moon and thinking about the past.

Dante sat there for a few minutes. He would let Victoria release some of the emotions there were built up, before going down there. After a little bit he went down to the lake. "Hey. I'm sorry that this happened to you." he put his arm around her. "If you ever need anything, and I mean anything, tell me ok?" he said as he rubbed her shoulder. He stood there with her and stared at the lake.

Aria laughed along with Daren and recited Bella's line.
"What does that even mean?" she questioned and then laughed again. "I don't care what you say, you totally enjoyed it."

Daren grinned after he remembered Bella's line, and he squeezed Aria's waist, before sighing and saying quietly, "Only because I was with you." He glanced away and looked up once again at the moon, hoping his mother wouldn't kill him when he got home.
((AHH! I just had the coolest idea Music! Maybe..hm. Maybe they could be walking along, and "V" *I forgot his full name, lol* could see them flirting or something and get jealous, bring his boys and then try to gang up on Daren? Just a thought. blaugh ))
Victoria smiled when she felt Dante's arm around her, and after he said quietly that if she needed anything, to come to him, she leaned her head on his shoulder, feeling comfort. Still staring at the lake, she thought of her gentle mother and her adventurous mother, and the thought brought tears to her eyes.

Dante checked his watch. It was getting a little late. "Hey, it's getting late." he said in a gentle voice. "I don't want to keep you out too late since you have a job to keep up with." He took out his phone and texted Xavier. He invited him and few others back to his house for the night. He put the phone back in his pocket. "Plus I have to stop at the carry out by your house before it closes."

Aria looked up at the sky and knew her parents were going to kill her. However, she really didn't care. I think I just went out on a date...Is this what those things are like? Dating Veto had never been like this; they would usually just hang out in that old warehouse. Suddenly Aria realized how stupid she had been. She'd almost considered going back out with someone who didn't even take her on actual dates! She hit her forehead lightly and then looked at Daren who she assumed had been watching her.
"Sorry, I was thinking." she smiled. "So, what time do your parents expect you home?"

"Hey, Veto." Lucky, Veto's 'second in command', said.
"What?"
"You said you wanted Aria back right?"
"Yeah. What of it?"
"Well there she is, but she isn't alone."
"Some dude has his hand around your girl's waist." Will, a goon, added.
Veto looked up to see his girl, his Aria laughing and walking with some guy. He spit his pop out on the concrete and began to walk towards Aria and Daren when Lucky stopped him.
"Don't do it. Not now. I say we get him when Aria's not around. You want to keep a good look around her remember?"
Veto nodded and stepped back to where he had been leaning against the wall.
"You two. Tail them, and when Aria goes home, show that dude what we do to people who overstep their bounds."
Lucky and Will nodded and began to follow Aria and Daren.

A little confused by her response, his brow furrowed but then he smiled at her question. "Whenever I need to take you home." His tone hinted that he didn't really want to see the night end, but all good ones did. He let go of her waist but instead put his hands to his sides, hoping she would take the offer and take his hand.A little disappointed that she had to leave him, she let go of him a little sheepishly and nodded. She hated to see the night end, and she sighed, looking up at the moon for the last time before glancing back at him and walking to the concrete that led to the parking lot.

He opened the passenger door for her, and shut it after she got in. He walked around to the side of the car and took a glance at the lake. Man those were the good days he thought as he opened up his door. He got in the car and started it. He didn't want the night to end, but he assumed there would be another great time like this ahead. "So did you enjoy your day?" Dante asked as he slowly backed out of the parking space. He turned down the radio. He felt his phone vibrate and knew who it was. He ignored it for a few minutes, so that he could focus on driving on the narrow road. He didn't want to go off into a ditch or anything. After he reached the road he took out his phone. He opened the message and saw that Veto and the guys would be showing up, but they would be bringing the whole group with them. "That's just great." he said out loud but didn't know. He sent a message back to Xavier telling him to only bring the main ones out of the group. He told him to leave the foolish ones behind and the ones that would bring trouble. Yeah, Dante himself was foolish and got in trouble, but he kept it away from his house. He could not put him and his mom at risk over that. Plus they're the ones that do the dirty work that everyone else doesn't do, so they're not very high ranked among the group.
Dante and his group consisted of a large number of people. Maybe twenty or so, but not nearly as many as Veto's gang. But then again they were not a gang. They were a group of friends that came together to protect one another against one person, and that was Veto. Dante planned to discuss a little bit of the new plan tonight. He planned on Veto feeling the pain that everyone else felt, and that meant taking out the person closet to him. They would just need to find out who that is.

Victoria was silent for a couple of moments, so he could focus on getting to the road. Suddenly, he pulled out his phone and his relaxed posture became stiff, and she saw his face change, worry and frown lines etching his handsome features. Panic in her throat, she asked quietly, trying to control her voice, "Is everything alright? Is something happening?"

"Hmm....That probably wasn't a good thing to say. I can stay out very late."
Aria gave an evil grin and grabbed his hand.
"Come on, we'll go hang at the park until I get an annoying phone call from my mom."

Daren laughed, relived her didn't have to take her home so soon, and ran to the park with her. A few blocks into it, he stopped to breathe and chuckled breathlessly. "You sure do have a lot of energy," He panted. He watched her with a silly grin and then stiffened, hearing quiet footsteps. He whirled around, but no one was there. Was someone following them? The footsteps had stopped and he figured it was his imagination. Besides, he didn't want to scare Aria. He smiled again after turning back and straitened up.He took off on her, trying to get a head start.

Aria gasped. "You're such a cheater!"
She ran after him and eventually they were neck and neck.
"I won't lose!" she exclaimed.
She passed him and made it to the park gate.
"Oh yeah. I have so much energy becuase I'm just naturally energetic." she smiled.
She then walked over to the swings and sat in one, patting the one next to her.

"Dude I told you shh, he almost saw us." Lucky scolded
"Just shut up and keep going." Will retorted.
They trailed Aria and Daren to the park where they hid behind a row of trees and shrubs.

Daren, out of breath by the time he got there on the other swing, laughed and sat there for a moment. He heard a tree branch rustle and whirled around on the swing, almost falling off. Again, they're was nothing to see, but he was still suspicious. He narrowed his eyes and turned back around after a few seconds. He looked back at Aria and smiled. "I always cheat." He admitted this sheepishly.
