As the three made their way to the ruined sector, they would be met by fire and destruction. Whatever hit here, hit hard. While it seemed dead, the three were being watched. "See? Told ya they'd come runnin'. FORK UP THE CASH!" a voice barked."I did not agree to that bet.." Another droned, near the first one. "Both of you. Enough." A third growled. "Sooooooo, who's gonna greet'em..?" The fourth asked curiously. "I will." The voice belonging to the fifth replied, dropping down in front of the three. It was clear at this point. The voices belonged to Mavericks. The Maverick in front of the three stared them down, slowly walking towards them.
"We do not require eyes here. Therefore, your lives are forfeit." he told them, his shoulders opening up, revealing two missile batteries, which fired on the three.
"Get movin'!" Dozer barked, making a dash for cover.

Steam turned on his stealth and ducked into an alleyway.

As Edge entered the sector, there was two more explosions. Though smaller than the first, they undoubtedly caused more damage. It also meant the culprit was still around, so Edge ran harder to reach the explosions.
As she came around a corner, the one responsible for the explosions was in her line of sight. Saw blades rolled down her arms, into her fingers, and were thrown at the standing figure's side.

The Maverick looked to Edge's direction and held his forearm where the sawblades were destined for. They sunk into the armor, if only in a superficial manner.
More missiles were suddenly launched at her.

Steam tossed an emp grenade from the alleyway, which landed under the missiles before detonating. At the very least it would disrupt the missiles tracking, if they had any and maybe keep them from hitting any of his fellow hunters. After the grenade was thrown, steam reactivated his Stealth systems and left the alleyway.

Edge's eyes widened in surprise as she saw the Maverick not only take her blades, but how weakly they hit him. With the amount of strength she put in the throws, they should have dug in deeper, cutting wires. By the looks of it, all this reploid would have to do is give his arm a good shake to get rid of the blades.
Her eyes grew a bit wider as he retaliated with missiles, to which she jumped to the left across the street. She could hear a grenade bouncing to where she was and moved even further, not wanting to be caught in it's blast. The EMP affected her lightly, only causing a few brief moments of forgetfulness. Once it passed though, she shook her head and looked back to where she last saw the Maverick.

As Edge jumped out of the way, a grunt could be heard as the Maverick sprinted forward, as if falling over, the armor curving into a large ball and shot straight towards where she landed in an attempt to ram her.
"...Looks like Sphere just bagged one..."

Steam stopped as the large maverick sped passed him, so he wouldn't be crushed, then tossed a smoke grenade into the group of mavericks down the street. A wall of smoke soon separated the group of mavericks from everyone else.

"OI! SHITBAG! WE'RE JUST WATCHING YA SCRAWNY PIECE OF s**t!!" The large Maverick barked, clearly unhappy he couldn't watch the fight."It appears one of them is afraid we'll jump in.." The skinnier one said, crossing his arms."The smoke will pass. Deal with it." the other told the two.The last of the group and jumped up and flew over the smoke to watch the battle.
"That boy will not live long if he continues..."

Edge jumped aside again, narrowly missing the bowling ball Maverick. That explains his armor... She thought. b*****d rolls up, and rolls around. If he's got thick armor for that purpose, that means he'll be slow on foot. And, he's weak in the center. She grunted at the challenge, giving a small smirk as she stepped out in the street again so the Roller could have a second chance.
She could hear the others behind her, but paid no attention. For now. They were remaining harmless and annoying, and would be dealt with later.

Sphere's arm uncoiled from the ball and slammed his fist into the ground to spin around for another charge.
"Good. This won't be quick." he droned, as he coiled his arm back into the ball as he shot towards Edge again, this time bounding off of the side of a building in case she tried jumping to the side again.

Steam stayed a few feet away from the smoke, stealthed, waiting for someone to pass through the wall with his palms pointed at the smoke. Anyone passing through would get a flash of blinding light and a blast of EMP as soon as Steam spotted them.

"Not on my end." Edge grunted in reply as she had another saw blade in her right hand, the left hand empty and held out behind her for balance. She stood her ground as Sphere rolled at her again, her eyes locked onto the metal ball even as he bounced off a building in act to throw her over.
Edge jumped straight into the air as he rolled in, and then threw her saw blade downward as he would have passed underneath her.

As the saw blade hit him, it was immediately run over and crushed by Sphere's weight. It was becoming clear attacking him while he was in his ball-form was in vain.
Dozer watched the fight between the two in silence. He knew better than to interrupt Edge when she was fighting unless it was truly necessary.
As Sphere kept rolling, he slammed into the side of a building, causing a small crater where he was still moving forward. Not moving, he uncoiled completely and spun to face Edge.
"..."
"Try again."

Steam's stealth deactivated for a moment as he threw another smoke grenade into the wall of smoke, then reactivated his stealth. He took a couple steps to the left for good measure after he'd completely vanished.
