This was nice it almost made the thought of the battle ahead seem impossible for the time being. Ikumen reached out and took her by the hand lacing his fingers between hers. "How have you been, Rika-chan? Ive missed you a lot." His warm smile spread through to her soul as his chakra extended outwards and into his hand warming it and yet tingly at the same time as their chakra mixed in a peacefully intertwined strand between the two.

Rika almost recoiled as his chakra mixed into hers, due to her body still being on high alert. But she kept herself still and calm, smiling. "I've been...alright, I guess. Constant threat of being apprehended and killed tends to ruin a lot of fun you can have on the field. I can't even keep track of how many shinobi I have had to end these days. But I live for the village, I stay strong for you." Shrugging, she looked at the Mizukage. "How about you? Surely you've not been going alone..."

Ikumen looked down a little as he did realize he was putting her through a lot, but they were shinobi first and lovers second. She was the best in the village and both knew that, maybe when the war was over they could stop being shinobi, at least for a little bit. "Im sorry.... I know its hard..." Ikumen paused a moment as she responded with her own question of his well being. "I... have been doing a lot of things on my own lately. I went to Takigakure and secured a treaty with their new Takikage, a very rational man for a pirate. The village is in such dire straights its really saddening, they are no better off than when things started. I did not meet with Shi as I originally planned... I still dont trust her things just arent safe when that woman is involved. I did happen to interact with the sage we were searching for on the way out. The mans name is Akito Shishigami, he was the Bear Sage before my father and a legendary member of the Senju clan. We talked a lot about my family history and it greatly eased my burden over the bloody past of my clan. I understand... a lot of things now, and I know what kind of person I want to be Rika-chan... I want to be a great leader who spreads peace through out the land and protects all. I want to protect every one from every village not just ours, and I want to be a strong and wise ruler not only for the people and shinobi in this world, but for you most of all. I want to carve a path to the world that we can all live in with out any shame or hatred or revenge. This was the prophesy meant for my father by the Bear Elders Akito thought, but in reality when viewed through the looking glass... Even though my father did evil things it was all as a part of the plan of life for the future... My father did bring forth balance in being taught by Akito he brought about peace by making me, both he and my father taught me how to be strong so that I can maintain the balance and protect everyone as I was meant to. So with the end of this war... I think the prophecy will be that much closer to completion." Ikumen was so confident now he held conviction in his voice, the maturity of a leader. "And you can help me Rika-chan... you already have so much." His chakra continued to warm her body as hers moved into his and their nerves all tingled, his other hand grasping hers and lacing fingers as did the first.

From outside the Office of the Mizukage a loud bang sound could be heard. As the door opened a cloud of smoke seeped into the room cover a man inside. Once the smoke cleared the man was able to be seen. Standing next to Kairi he smiled at her asking one simple question, "Miss me?"

The big bang sound startled her a little since she was closest to the door. What the hell she initially thought turning around as the door opened up giving way to a huge cloud of smoke. Who the hell is this?!? she though trying harder to see through all of the smoke. Than she saw a glimpse of white hair and thought it was Taichi but when his face was shown it wasn't him. But then he spoke and his voice was unmistakable. "Tai? Is that you" she shouted jumping into is arms. "Oh my gosh I've missed you so much" she continued to shout in his ear.

Before Rika could reply, she turned and smiled at the shinobi now entering the office. "Seems we have company." She released his hand slowly, a bit sad that she had to leave his side so that they could be informed of what was going to happen. Replacing her mask, she stood at the front of the group and nodded to the ones she knew.

Ikumen stood up with a nod and looked around slowly as he threw his arms up in welcome,"I see we have majority of everyone here, so let us begin with this village meeting!" Ikumen found it more convenient to stand on his desk and so he did. "Well as many of you know and have experienced things have been very busy around here with the war closing in on Konoha. Our fruits have finally paid off though as a week from today we will start our final assault on Konoha to destroy them and end the war!" He paused for any cheers or applause that might be needed then raised his hand and continued. "But, this will not bring us true peace yet I hope you all know. Asserting our power is the first step, after this we must make alliances with the other villages and make good on our promises to support them. Together the three villages can round up the remnants and rogues of both the defeated villages and our own. I sense sadly... that this may be the darkest of the times we have seen. Rogue ninja have no rules and nothing to hold them back and with so many on the rise we will have to all stay on guard." Ikumen looked around at everyone to judge the looks on their faces and any tension in the room, he would wait to continue.

Yes. Indeed these ninja would have to stay "on guard". This much of what Ikumen said was true, that was for sure. Expecially the part about how rogue ninja had no rules, that was also true. Without a doubt the Mizukage was powerful, as well as smart. But there was one thing that Hikari himself had a problem with. Lies. Hikari himself did not believe that the Mizukage, or rather, the village itself had lied to him. However, now that he saw his target within the room, he had to wonder....had they lied to him about her? There she was, standing as though there wasn't a care in the world, the woman whom he had been searching for, the one whom he had hoped to find in time. There she was....there she was....and now she was his. Hikari, up in the air without a second thought reeled back his sword arm, Hata-te within his grasp as he swung forth, the jutte slashing against the outside layer, the surface that led to the Kage office. Hikari was attempting to bust through the window, whilst saying, "Sup. Oh, and....Found you....Rika Minami....Now, hand over the scroll."

Rika knew what was going on, she had been warned at the Sagelands about one that would come for her contract. And she was ready. "Let's take this outside. As this is a matter of the Sage's Contract...you won't be attacked by anyone but me." She looked to the group, especially Ikumen. "I mean that, too." Leaping out the window, she headed for the training grounds. She recognized the sword in his possession as one of the swords of origin. Too bad for him, she had one of her own.

Hikar, landing upon the floor of the kage office simply gazed around, looking at the people inside the room. For one, there was the Mizukage, Ikumen, Rika of course, Kiari, whom Hikari had seen during the Chuunin Exams, Taichi, whom Hikari had also seen during the exams, Kisho, who Hikari didn't really know at all, never meeting him, and Yukio whom Hikari had seen before just hours ago. Hand on chin, Hikari sheathed his jutte, looking at Rika with a type of discerning glance. For one, if there was to be a fight here, Hikari had no doubt that he would be defeated, yet she had called him out herself. After Rika jumped out the window, Hikari without even turning fell after her, back to the ground as he dropped, landing on his feet, flipping, something close to a run taking over him as he followed, heading as well to thr training grounds.

Ikumen understood the situation, though he never personally dealt with any of the kind due to many fearing his power over want of the scroll. He shrugged his shoulders as he looked at the window,"How rude.... Well might I add to the fact that they also have no manners." Shrugging dust off he sighed.
