"GGGAAAHHHHHHHHHAHA HA HA...ahhhhhh~"
The middle one yelled as the lightning struck him and then shot out towards the metal on his brethren's neck and limbs. They jutted and danced wildly as the current jolted muscle and nerves. Soon though they fell into the water, wiggling around like dying fish while tiny tendrils of electricity flicked off their melting bodies.
They died. Again, Greed could continue.

What Greed didn't know was that the treasure he pocketed was cursed. The mud beneath the roots shifted, only the water rippled, though he would not be able to see what was beneath the murky surface. Probably just a passing snake.
Once he stepped into the water again, the mud around him would pull his legs down. Its hungry maw just gobbling up the delicious diabolus. He would need to act quickly or else him and the treasure would be buried in the swamp.

Earth Sinking Rank A Description: More advanced users can forcibly sink their opponents into the ground, imprisoning them or even suffocating them in earth.

Greed
The Devil's Advocate • Rank: Adept • bloodline: Diobolus • Class: Berserker • currently equipped: Bottom right picture • feeling:
Feared Exalted Evil? As the earth began pulling his legs into the ground, Greed began to shout. <********! No no no no no!" He shouted, feeling the rocks and mud slide up to his ankles. He quickly pushed lightning down into his feet, and the mud would crack and harden, the Diabolus straining forward until he was suddenly released, zipping around upon a large platform of lightning. He then held out his hand, a large trident of darkness forming inside his hand as he thrust his arm forward, sending the tridant spiraling in a path of doom towards the earth monster. The trident could slice through thick Iron; rock would be no different. The trident would spiral in a destructive arc towards the beast's stony face. "It's my ******** treasure! Keep your hands off you ugly, muddy son of a b***h!" He would shout angrily, enraged that the monster even thought about stealing the treasure he had rightfully looted off of the goblins. He would continue flinging colorful profanities at the monster, eager to see the outcome of his rod of energy in the beast's face. (Active: Steel form 7/10) (Used: Lightning rider, Lucifer's trident.) Theme song • Strength: 12 • Speed: 7 (tail has a speed of 9) • Energy: 875 "If you don't give me what I want, this might be rather... messy."

The mud he was stuck in quaked, crumbled as lightning caressed its sweet backside. Bubbles filtered to the surface as its hold weakened but it was not alone. The treasure was a trap, unknown to Greed of course. Sure he'd be filthy rich but the mud monsters would not stop coming until he dropped the loot.
One roared up in front of him, making its self into an Earth Wall while another from behind slammed into the back of the diabolus' legs and only served to add a layer to the loosening other. The earth around him would moan and move, jutting twisted spires erupted from the water, all aiming at the man.
The wall would moan, "PREEEEECIOUUUUSSSSSSSS~"

Earth wall Rank B Requires: Earth shield Description: You can create walls of earth, which can be used for both defense and offense, and practical things, like construction. Originally the size of the wall would be a City block and three meters thick. You may use more energy making it A ranked and it will be the same size but five meters thick but that’s its limit.
Stone Trapping Rank: B Limits: Must know Earth Trapping, Adept Rank Description: A stronger version of the earth trapping skill. Earth moves around the target's feet and hardens on a high magnitude trapping the target. To break free, the target must have a strength of 9 and above. That or a C rank water skill and/or a powerful explosive (use at your own caution). However, with an additional D rank energy the stone can imprison up to the legs of the target seriously restricting movement. If the target is lying on the ground, this can close around their arms as well. A master rank can use this to completely encase a downed target
Earth line Rank: B Requires: Earth column Description: As an offensive attack you may create a line of twisted columns and propel it forward. These will be pointed at the tip thus creating a better chance of impaling the enemy.

Greed
The Devil's Advocate • Rank: Adept • bloodline: Diobolus • Class: Berserker • currently equipped: Bottom right picture • feeling:
Feared Exalted Evil? As the monster moaned precious, Greed suddenly realized what it wanted. The Suddenly, the demonic energy he had been saving since he had first encountered the goblins would erupt, a rolling wave of B ranked black flames erupting from his body, pushing back everything that seeked to harm him as the fire also bore a decent degree of knockback power. He would halt in midair for a moment, remarkably still upon the bright crimson mass of energy under his feet as he rummaged through his pockets, throwing all of the contents into wall of earth before him. "Fine take all of it! There's way too many of you, I really need to get going." he would say, hoping the returning of the treasures would appease the earth. The Diabolus liked treasure, but he was no fool. He knew that he would more than likely waste up all of his energy trying to fight all of these creatures for a few interesting trinkets. (8/10 steel form) (Used: Hell's ramparts) Theme song • Strength: 12 • Speed: 7 (tail has a speed of 9) • Energy: 825 "If you don't give me what I want, this might be rather... messy."

All the earth elementals around him fell away, creating huge waves in the water as they fell or cratered. One would pop its sludge face up and bubble, "THAAAAANKEWWWWW" Then it lowered back into its murky slumber and none would bother him again. So long as he didn't try to take the swamp's treasure.

He was free to move on.

Just as soon as Greed was done with the monsters, his feet betrayed him and he felt one foot sink, calf deep into the surface. Thinking quickly his tail would wrap around a thick nearby root, straining as it pulled him from the earth. there was a loud slurping and popping noise as His combat booted foot was released and he was sent flying, he flipped before landing on his feet a few meters away from the sinkhole. He then began walking again. (10/10 steel form) (5/12)

A few feet ahead, the water would ripple as Greed approached. A woman's face, the epitome of beauty, pushed through the murk. Her skin was flawless, her porcelain features rivaled even the pagans. Her hair was golden, each strand twinkling against the pale moonlight and cascaded down over naked bosoms. Her tail was long and encircled the diabolus as he walked into its center. The two plush lips would turn up in a smile as she welcomed him.
"You have come a long way but you are still far off. In order to travel on, you must answer a riddle. If you guess wrong..." The fair mermaid licked her upper lip, deliberating which part of him she would taste first as her eyes lingered over tantalizing parts. "I will keep you here and make you my slave." Her tail flipped up so he could see the glistening scales and fin. "The riddle is...
Alive without breath, As cold as death; Never thirsty, ever drinking, All in mail never clinking
What am I?"
She pushed up, meeting his bloodlust gaze as her fingers molded down over her curves.

Greed
The Devil's Advocate • Rank: Adept • bloodline: Diobolus • Class: Berserker • currently equipped: Bottom right picture • feeling:
Feared Exalted Evil? As the woman encircled him with her tail, Greed would shake his head, momentarily distracted by the woman's graceful features. As she asked him the riddle, he shook his head and chuckled, heat rising to his cheeks at the unexpected proximity of the woman... "Woah there hot stuff. You haven't even bought me a drink yet. Don't get me wrong i've got a thing for blonde's, but it's a little bit soon for slavery. I don't do roleplay til we're dating." He would state sarcastically with a chuckle, winking at her cockily and hoping it would get her to back up a little bit. One thing was for sure, Greed knew how to push people's buttons... even a random strangers. He knew that he was in a bit of danger here, being in the water with a mer was not a wise thing... for most people. However, lightning was Greed's coupe de grace here, against most things. "Alright, lemme think for a second." He would state, glancing upwards and about the water. Always thirsty... maybe a drunk person? Nah, drunk people have to breathe. Cold as death? Nah... A zombie doesn't drink. A knight wears mail... but his mail clinks. damn. He thought to himself, his own tail wisking about him, lightly grazing across the water at times. Then, something caught his eye. A fish floating belly up, no doubt one he had electrocuted. It's scales shone slightly, and reminded him of the links in chain mail. Then he slowly began to piece the riddle together. After a moment, he would state... "Are you talkin' about a fish?" He would ask uncertainly, hoping his answer was right. If worse came to worse, he'd kill the mer... it'd be a shame if he fried her though, it would ruin such a pretty face. He hoped his answer was correct so he could move on. Theme song • Strength: 12 • Speed: 7 (tail has a speed of 9) • Energy: 1000 "If you don't give me what I want, this might be rather... messy."

The Mer would lean in slightly, studying his own features as he winked, of course it ignited a blush over her perfect pallor. Though the smile would disappear and turn into a pout as he got the answer right. Such a shame, he was a fine specimen. She would nod, easing herself back into the water until only her face remained.
"Good luck and farewell, journeyman."
With that, the beauty descended and swam off in search of another traveler to trap. He escaped, yet again.
