Hailey just sighed, looking at the river. "Thats not explaining much." She remembered her first day when Rufios was trying to get her attention for something...and now he was back. "Why do you really want to talk to me?"

Hailey sighed and hugged her knees.. "Then i guess your doing a pretty good job.." She watched the blackness of the river flow rapidly away.

Rufios smiled, "You ok?" He asked as he removed his coat and wrapped it around her to keep her warm.. "Do you see it?" He asked as he sat next to her...

Hailey just watched the river. "I saw nothing, i saw a river." She bit her lip and looked up at at Rufios. Her eyes were a deep amethyst that shined like the jewel itself.

Rufios smiled, "Look closely.... You will see the secret of darkness, the beauty of nothing at all....." He sayed, looking past the river and into the pure darkness that lied beneath it.

Hailey looks up at the moon instead, finding the only little hope left in the light. She closed her eyes half way.

Dont look at the light, look into the darkness..... Darkness is not good or bad... its nuetral...." Rufios said with a smile as he gentally turned her head towards the complete darkness.....

"Your eyes decieve you, Darkness has hope, light has hope..... both have hope.. just ones more apparent than the other....." Rufios sayed as he slowly began to get her in a trance, the light began to dissapear as he talked...

She closed her eyes and did as he said. Hailey could feel his words wrap around her in a tight embrace. Numbness engulfed her and she laid back, the darkness consuming her.
