"You gonna compromise this mission for the sake of the enemy's pokemon, kid?" Lucas called to the shouting Liam. The shorty could do what he wanted, but the former assassin wasn't about to let this go. A mission was a mission. He pursued the Growlithe a ways when it suddenly stopped, the orb disappearing into its being. "Wha-- Oh, come on." This was... This was... Not the best morning in the world. Destiny was very much set against the Rockets, it seemed.
Through the earth's rumbling - a motion that gave rise to serious concerns about the possibilities of the cavern's collapse - Lucas crouched and sifted through his allotted supplies and dug out what few potions were packed there. Not many at all... Well, he'd have to make due. There was a Kyogre approaching and there was no time to dally around. A pair of flashes and just as many spritzes from the potions found Merry and Snow revived and at his side, the Charmander particularly surprised by his trainer's choice. Lucas had been somehow impressed with the fire-type's performance, and he was willing to rely on it at least little more.
A deep breath. "Okay. Let's see what we can do." A Chimecho on one side, a Charmander on the other, and a gun in his hand. Action ready. Bring it on, Destiny.

Isadora stopped short in her tracks and slowly stepped away from the little Growlithe as its eyes turned an ominous blue hue and odd ruin-like marking appeared all over its body. Now wary, Isadora stayed back as it emitted a gigantic roar and the earth began to shake.
The doctor's eyes drew wide as she stumbled to try and stay upright. What on earth was going on? Was the cave going to collapse? From the waters rose a great beast, and Isadora stared in fright at the new behemoth that had made itself present within its home. And it looked less than pleased. "s**t..."
Staying as far away as she could from what seemed to be an imminent battle, Isadora began to dig through her pack until she found a couple of potions. She gave a sigh of relief and considered which of her Pokemon she should revive. Basil wouldn't be of much use, having only Toxic and Solarbeam as attacks... But Iditarod was a Fire-type. It was risky, but if she could help, she was ready to do what it took, and she knew that her Pokemon would be, too.
Quick as a flash, Iditarod was revived and ready for anything as she stood at attention at Isadora's side. "Be careful, Iditahrod. Dohn't underestimate 'im."

A grunt seemed the suitable answer to Lucas's comment before he shot past the others, who seemed to have stopped. As he broke from the crowd he noticed exactly why: the Growlithe was glowing a deep blue from the marking all over its body to its eyes. The markings seemed to call forth a massive quaking in the ground, causing him to fall to his already scraped knees in front of the Growlithe. "Wh-wh-whu?" He was, almost utterly, speechless. He couldn't tear his eyes from the Growlithe and yet he still could not bring himself to reach forward and touch it. Something in him reacted strongly to the Growlithe, so much like the ones he had known back home and the same one that he had left moments ago behind a rock. "Why?" he asked. It was all he could muster at the time, kneeling here feet from the Growlithe. He knew he couldn't do anything and he refused to tear his gaze away, even with the roaring from the water that seemed to be enveloping all of them.

The waters in the giant lake rolled and thrashed, while the Growlithe stood growling with teeth bared. Its glowing blue eyes fixed on Liam as he fell on his knees before him. "GROOOOOWLITHE!" She screamed, parting her maw and shooting a blast of flames at the Rocket before her mercilessly. The waters behind her then shot up, followed by the massive blue and white head of the water Pokemon they had been seeking. Its golden eyes glowing menacingly as it leered from behind Komashi. Its mouth also opening to reveal set of sharp pointed teeth as it bellowed angrily. The Rockets had committed an unforgivable transgression. As Kofuku went to Lance's side, the man barely seemed to notice her. Sweat covering his forehead, and his breathes shallow. However, she would find that his belt had actually saved his life. The dense material having lessened the impact, despite having gone straight through. The bullet embedded in his flesh, but not near as deep as it would have been otherwise. Still, he would likely bleed to death if left alone.

Dear Arceus were we in trouble. Alexander dung into his bag for anything that might help against the enraged legendary and found a few potions and a revive. "I could have used them earlier." he grumbled to his self and quickly used them on Conrad. He then looked back up to Kyrogre and Growlithe and prepared his self for anything that might happen.

Leonard froze at the sight of the giant whale-like legendary. First they had to battle through Lance and now Kyogre?! Hopefully one of the Elites had a Master Ball on hand. With everyone worn out from the previous battle, there was no way they'd stand against it. Even with a Master Ball it'd be a tough fight. The Kyogre wasn't going to sit there and let itself get captured.
He winced when Liam got flamed by the posessed Growlithe. So that's how they were going to play? He was reminded that his Pokemon were either fainted or low on health though. Rain started pouring while Leonard resumed his search for his items. By some miracle, he found his lost bag not too far away. How did he miss that? Leonard quickly took out his revives and potions and healed up his Pokemon.

Something certainly wasn't right, the last Faleen knew Komashi did not have glowing markings on her. and the sudden power that swarmed from her into the cavern they were in was no just from her. hand grasping onto one of her Dusk Balls from her newly revived pokemon, her hand clamping tight when Liam was suddenly flamed at. What was he DOING dropping his guard to that pokemon, she was clearly on Lances side.

Mau recalled Nuu as SOON as the Kyogre surfaced. She had done well, but, he did worry about her. He had to act quickly, reviving and healing up Ire and Aki. They would probably be needed for this fight.
With his two eeveelutions healed up, he gripped Ire's pokeball tightly, hoping that this would not end in certain death.

Isadora gaped in awe as the great Sea Basin Pokemon rose from the depths from behind the blue-marked Growlithe. This... was bad. How on earth could they fight such a monster? Even if it was only one Pokemon, it was no doubt extremely powerful and extremely dangerous, and it against all of the Pokemon Team Rocket had here would still be a tough match. There was no guarantee that they would win.
She glanced back into her pack and retrieved the one other potion she had. Looking at the Pokeball that contained her fainted Meganium, Isa sighed and healed him back to consciousness. If she was going to fight, fight she would. He might be able to do much, but he would do what he could, and Isa knew that.
Staying as far back from the disgruntled Legendary as she could, Isadora stood with her two Pokemon at her side: Iditarod at attention, ready to fight, and Basil slightly behind his human, apprehensive to battle. It did not matter either way, though. Today, this was their destiny.

A wall of flame roared towards Liam who was in no position to accurately dodge, sitting on his knees as he was doing. The best he could manage was a clumsy roll towards the water. Apparently, the water didn't scare the flames as he had hoped since he could feel his sleeve momentarily catch fire and the intense pain of the burns underneath before it fizzled in the cold water of the underground lake. He realized that this had also been possibly a worse idea than letting the flames envelop him. Here in the water, he was practically face to face with the giant (and potentially quite angry) Kyogre that was disturbing the water all around him. His feet slipped on the wet sand beneath his feet as he tried to scramble out of the water without catching the giant Pokemon's attention.

Why did every pokemon they met always want to fight? Darwin really wished they'd just stop and play the right way. That was unlikely to happen on its own, however, so the Mew would just have to make them do it right. It was his destiny.
Once Nyx's Raichu was on his feet again, the Scientist gave the command for the Mew to transform; Not into a copy of the legendary sea beast, however, but into another Raichu. They needed electricity right now, not another giant whale. The two electric types took a stand side by side in front of the large Aggron, all three of the pokemon ready to launch thunderbolt attacks when the command was given.
Nyx was tired of legendary pokemon putting up a fight, especially when it ended in almost killing Rockets.

Nadja glared daggers at the mud-covered man who was holding her back from finishing the job. "You have no idea how long I've-" Her rage was interrupted when Komashi streaked past and a tremor shook the foundations of the cave, making her grab instinctively at Seth for balance.
As she got her balance, the redhead looked hard at him from behind a sweep of hair that had fallen over her face and pressed her lips in a tight, grim line.. that wavered and parted as her eyes lifted to the leviathan shape rising from the lake, water pouring off its slick hide in waterfall streams.
Nadja briefly met Seth's gaze with a complicated one of her own, then briskly slung her bag off her shoulders and turned away to find revives. Two came to hand and were sprayed on two Pokeballs - who knew how that worked, now wasn't the time to question technology - that she clicked the release catch on, bringing her Dusknoir and Electivire back into view.
"Revive your Pokemon, spread out and attack!" she barked at the Rockets, turning to the battle to issue orders to her own Pokemon. "Keres, Burya! Thunder Punch!"

Both her pokemon were let out this time, Faleen setting their attacks for the legendary that had come to confront them. That was going to be the last mistake it made. "Absol, Ice Beam, Sharpedo, Crunch!"
Absol remained where he was, opening his mouth to work a chilling beam of ice that fired toward the Kyogre. Sharpedo, while not having a lot of water to use to get around, made use with what he had. able to propel himself into his attack, jaws wide, and laced in darkness..

Ah, there it was.
Claire tensed as the giant behemoth surfaced from the depths of the underground lake, trying to ignore the tremors that shook the ground. s**t. But at least they all had a few of their pokemon left, so she turned to her two she'd revived and pointed at the legendary in the water. "Aerial Ace, Thunderbolt," she commanded.
With a "chu!" Zeus bolted forward towards the water, aiming a powerful bolt of electricity at the Kyogre. Odette obliged as well, launching into the air to blast a burst of air towards the leviathan.

As the cave shook and the behemoth rose from the waters, Seth glanced away as he and Nadja gripped each other to keep from falling. The man furrowing his brows angrily. Had Lance now shown up, they would have been more prepared for this situation. But instead, many of the Rockets had their Pokemon knocked out and they each only had a couple of revives each in their bags.
He looked back at Nadja as she started barking out orders and slowly released her. That was more like it. It was true, he didn't have any idea, but now wasn't the time for revenge.
"Faleen!" He barked at the first grunt he saw. "Help Kofuku and make sure that Lance is restrained." They didn't need the Champion getting in their way or trying to escape. That is if he was even capable of such at the moment.
Liam unfortunately found himself in front of Kyogre's gaping maw. Its teeth gleaming and a growl rising up in its throat again as yellow eyes were turned down towards him. Kyogre snapped at the Rocket but was suddenly stopped in its attack as electricity arced towards it and struck. A roar resonating off the cavern walls once again, the red lines on Kyogre's body now starting to glow.
"Growl!" Komashi barked, the possessed Growlithe leaping from its place on the shore to land on Kyogre's back. The whale mon's mouth opening once more to shoot a Hydro Pump at Nadja's Pokemon.
In the mean time, Raion and the Shadow Lugia also reappeared, joining in the battle that Nadja had begun.
