I looked at him and spaced for a moment.
What your task is, is to do a little sneak work around Kaizuka and his cronies. Get in with them, but not in any major role. Just be a commoner. Find out what his plans are. That's it.
I said to him. I didn't know if it really was going to be as easy as it sounded, and most likely, it wouldn't be. But If worst came to worst, I would disregard the Council and go into the Void and pull him back. I looked at the wall for a moment and caught notice of a black liquid on a piece if wall that was jutting from the hallway stonework. I pulled a small glass vial from my tunic and collected it, so I could examine it later.

Hunter nodded, crossing his arms and thinking about the whole concept of going back into the void as a "scout" to say the least.
"No sweat," He said flashing a confident smile, "It shouldn't be too much of a problem, but it may take me some time to gather an accurate amount of information about Kaizuka."
Having lived in the Void for some of his life, Hunter knew that even though time here was slower than that of being in the void he still knew that it could take anywhere from two weeks to five months void time.
"I'm going to need my classes covered while I'm gone, but I'll do it." Hunter finished before adding, "I'm going to go get some supplies and my real sword from my room, if you want, meet me in the side gym in an hour."
With that he turned out of the courtyard and headed to the dorms to make preparations for the trip.

I nodded to Hunter.
make as many preparations as you like, and I'll cover your classes for you. I've got a handy trick that can produce a copy of your image. Ill take the notes and all that, so you can read up when you return. But seeings as time moves slower here than in the Void, you most likely will not miss very much. And yes, I'll meet you in there in an hour. I said to him. I was still rather confused as to the nature of the strange black liquid I found, but all the same, I'd have some time later to take a closer look at it. I went back to the walls and began looking around to see if anything else was out of the ordinary.

Her team had one the gymnastics meet and the girls each got a bouquet. Kitsune was walking through the halls where Seth got hurt by Kaizuka when she spotted Nari."Hey Nari!"Kitsune jogged over to him.She was still dressed in her grey skinny jeans, black t-shirt with a silver skull, purple and black high-top shoes and, her black jacket. I looked up at Kitsune for a moment, then went back to looking around
Not much. Hunter is off preparing to return to the Void. and I've been here for a few minutes checking over the rubble. the walls look as though they were blasted apart...I dont know what to make of it. speaking of which, check this out
I reached inside my tunic, and pulled out the vial of black liquid
what to do think of this? it was on a piece of the wall that was sticking out. it almost looks like blood, but the consistency is all wrong
I said as I handed her the vial. I moved around the first wall to have a look at that, and wasn't surprised to see that it was clean of scorch marks.
so it wasnt an explosive...at least not one with a flame...It means that Kaizuka probably attacked Seth up close. probably tackled him or something. it seems crude for his style though. normally hes much more...elegant
my head buzzed with questions, but no answers had presented themselves yet.

Muirgen sighed. "There are faeries within the Dark Court who love bloodshed and pain enough to follow any leader who will give it too them. All we need to do, is see if any of the Dark King's subjects have abandoned or been acting suspiciously." she explained.
She stood. "For now I show you around the school, so you'll be familiar with it. Hopefully will run into Naru. There a few things I want to tell share with him."

All of the sudden her instincts told her to touch the wall that Nari had been examining. Kitsune slowly placed her hand on the wall. A flash of images crossed her mind. She fell to her knees, trembling. 'What was that just now?' Kitsune asked herself. All she saw was Seth walking down the hall when Kaizuka appeared face to face with him and then in a blink of an eye sent him flying. Even with that split second, her keen eyes caught something. Kitsune looked a Nari. " I just saw the attack...." She paused for a second. "Kaizuka's most vulnerable when he attacks up close. When he attacked Seth up close, Seth's kantana cut his arm." Kitsune looked at the vial. 'So this is Kaizuka's blood.." She thought to herself.But don't harm my friends unless you want to die. -=-[]-=-[]-=-[]-=-[]-=-[]-=-[]

I took the vial back and studied it a bit more. The liquid was indeed much thicker than I would have expected of blood. I looked at Kitsune questioningly
that makes sense, though I wonder if it is weakness, or just a moment if carelessness that cause him to accidentally wound himself. It's all very interesting, and with the information that Hunter finds, we should he able to develop a plan of action. But if all else fails, I have a contingency plan. There is a ritual, powerful and ancient, thst can be used to empower oneself beyond anything they have ever known. The price for this ritual is self sacrificial, and I would die soon after the task I had initiated the ritual to do was finished.
I told Kitsune while I bent over and investigated another piece of stone. A small glimmer caught my eye, and I tried to pull it out, but it wouldn't budge. I pulled out one of my throwing knives, it's edge made ina similar manner of that of my katana as they have edges of diamond as well. I carefully cut the object out of the stonework. It was a crytstal of some kind. Wether it had any  value, or just a pretty rock, I couldnt tell, but I out it my pocket anyway.Â

Flame overheard Kitsune's and Nari's conversation.
"I don't think Kaizuka would have allowed himself to be wounded; he's too cunning." She said, "He wanted us to find his blood, but I don't know the reason why. The demon is very powerful." She folded her arms thoughtfully and stared intently at the vial. Something was off; why did Kaizuka get himself wounded? Was there something in the blood they should be wary of? With those troubling thoughts bearing down on her, Flame stood silently.

"I will not let my friends die, and you Nari, are my friend." Her voice was firm and unwaivering. Kitsune eyes showed nothing but determination to protect her friends 'I'll die before I'll let my friends die. You here that Kaizuka!?' She said to herself. Kitsune felt an evil aura right before a voice entered her head.'Very well little fox. That might just happen.' A menacing laugh echoed in her head. Then, as soon as it appeared it was gone. I turned to look at Flame.
While your theory may be correct, Kaizuka has had a history of being highly arrogant. its possible that he was careless for just a moment when he attacked Seth that he was cut. or you may be right, and he did it on purpose. its hard to say at this point. I told her.
Kitsune announced that she was leaving to check on Seth, so I nodded and watched her leave. I pulled out on of my throwing knives and began fiddling with it. while the blade is made out of diamonds, I was careful enough with them that I did not need to worry about cutting myself on the razor edges. I threw it into the nearby tree out of frustration. frustrati9on stemming from the fact that no answers were clearly visible, and that nothing hinted one way or the other as to what Kaizuka had in mind. I went and pulled the knife from the tree and put it back in the sheath.
Flame, you know you don't owe me anything right?I asked her.

"Sorry...I'm...late.." Hunter panted as he returned to the courtyard where Nari was examining the vial of liquid.
Hunter had changed from his workout clothes of the last class to jeans, a short-sleeved black shirt, his real katana sheathed and around his waist, a dark red gauntlet around his right arm up to his shoulder, and a backpack full of basic supplies.
"I would've been here sooner, but I needed to pick up a couple of things from the science lab on the way here," He added after catching his breath and tossed a couple of devices that looked similar to walkie-talkies in Nari's direction, "since I can't summon a way out of the void and the time is different, I rigged these up to let you know when I'm ready to come back here."
He pointed to the gauntlet on his right arm, "If I'm in serious trouble and need to be gotten out of there right away I'll press the button on here and the light on the tranciever will pulse red, Hunter paused before continuing, "If I'm ready to go but have time I'll press the button on the remote in my backpack and the light will pulse between green and orange."
