Shadow moaned softly and nodded, his tail flicking back and forth as he smiled warmly down at her.
1 Month Later...

Shadow yawned a bit as he sat in his apartment, alone. He was playing his Xbox, playing the remastered Halo as he smiled widely, his tail swaying back and forth as he let out another yawn and took a slice of pizza from the box he bought and took a bite, giggling softly as he continued to play, his injuries from the accident fully healed and him being back to normal.

Shayla called Shadow, waiting for him to pick up.
When he did, "Shadow, I have something to tell you." she said.

Shadow paused his game and pulled out his pricey phone and smiled as he say it was Shayla, picking it up and giving a confused look as she frantically answered, "Whoa, Shayla. You sound like you just saw a ghost. Is something wrong?" He asked with a little frown, whimpering softly as he didn't like how she was acting.

Shayla sighed, not sure how to say it, "I'm... pre--" she stopped, "God damn, the line's dead." she walked over to the couch and tried dialing again, it was no good. She laid back on the couch and growled, "I can't believe this happened."

Shadow's eyes widened as she stopped in mid-sentence, staring at the phone as it said the line died on her line, frowning as he tried to send her a text, looking very concerned and frightened, 'Shayla, come over here so you can tell me what's wrong. I'm very concerned for you.' He sent it to her and smiled as it said it was sent, sitting back and waiting for her to reply or come through the door.

Shayla looked at the text, and sighed, she got dressed and went outside, hailing a taxi when she got to the city.
She arrived at the hotel, paid off the driver and went up to Shadow's room, knocking on the door. "It's me." she said.

Shadow opened the door as soon as she knocked, looking at her with concerned eyes as he took her hand and led her in, "Welcome, sweetheart." He said with a little smile, leading her to the couch and sitting down and letting her sit down in front of him on the couch, "So, what is troubling you, love?" He asked with confused and scared eyes, squeezing her hand softly and looking into her eyes, his tail swaying softly.

Shayla sighed, "I'm... I'm pregnant." she said, "The test said positive." she sighed, and looked at him, not sure what else to say, her emotion was anger and fear, not sure what she was feeling.

Shadow's eyes widened as she told him, taking a deep breath and giving her a little smile, "That's... amazing. I... I'm so glad to be having a child with you. I love you so much and you would make a great mother. This also gives me even more of a reason for this." He said with a smile, getting off of the couch and on a knee, pulling out a ringbox and opening it, showing one of the most luxurious, amazing, unimaginable rings ever thought of, giving her a slight smirk, "You know what I'm going to ask." He said with a murr, his tail flicking back and forth as he waited for her reaction.

Shayla was about to say something, then she saw the ring, "Oh my..." she said, breathlessly, "Shadow... I-I... yes!" she said, hugging him, "I can't believe this!"

Shadow smiled widely and stood up, hugging her and giving her a deep kiss on the lips, cuddling into her and whispering, "T-Thank you, you've made me the happiest guy in the world. I-I'll never leave you, love." He whispered with a wide smile, letting go of her and taking the ring, and taking her hand as he slid the ring onto her finger. He gave her a wide smile and hugged her again, kissing her on the cheek and then cuddling into her, his tail wrapping around her in maximum happiness.

Shayla smiled, "Love you too, Shadow." she said. Her tail was wagging violently and she looked at Shadow, "Wait until James sees us." she said.

Shadow giggled and nodded, murring and kissing her on the lips, his arms wrapped around her as he cuddled into her, his tail wrapping around her tail. 4 Years Later... _____________________________________ Shadow giggled as he played with his 4-year-old daughter, Crystal. He murred happily and cuddled into her a bit, as he loved playing with his daughter, he looked back at Shayla behind him and kissed her on the cheek, "She's so adorable and perfect, Shayla. You've been a perfect mother." He said with a warm smile, his tail swaying softly as she played cutely with their daughter.

Shayla smiled, "Well, you aren't to bad of a dad." she said.
Just then Matt walked into the room, "Hey, you guys ready? James should be at the airport any minute now." he told them.
Shayla rolled her eyes, "Come on Crystal, time to see your uncle." she said.

Shadow smiled warmly and nodded, picking up Crystal as she smiled cutely up at Shadow, he smiled back. He softly took Shayla's hand and walked out of the apartment and to the front of the hotel, waiting for James to show up as he cuddled into Crystal, her letting out a cute murr and giggling, looking at Shayla with a wide smile and kissing her on the lips, his tail swaying happily.
