YAWRRRGH,
ya better be ya whippersnapper!

... You're a year younger than me. xD

Actually, you know names that are nouns aren't that bad, as long as they sound like names. The names of plants, gems, geographical features (like River), uncommon words (like Tally or Madge) are nice. p:

I should've said I don't like colors or random inanimate objects as names. :l

Funfact: :V
There are a bunch of characters in the Gunmetal universe, I just haven't really introduced them.
Jango was always around, I just forgot about him.
I don't really see why, though. . _.
He has a beard, he's always attracting a crowd.
He's big on the conspiracies.
He's insane. V:
I really didn't have too much of a reason to just forget him. . _.

Now, Sylvia~ I had a few good reasons to drop her. V:
Well, for one it was for plot reasons.
Sylvia; being Sky's opposite in several ways ran a rival guild.
The concept was very complicated, and would only cause confusion in the ways that they each operated differently.

Oh, and she was also rich as hell. V:
But ultimately that would create another arc, and I wanted to capitalize on Armarus's theme of being run by a violence based economy.

So I kinda changed her job and personality.
Personally, I like her the way she is right now. Kinda like the white rabbit, only EXTREME.
And is constantly getting shot at.
So she's kinda a nonviolent action hero.

Due to my canon changes, Aleta was a medic on the front lines in the war that took place before this guild was created, in a previous RP.

Funfact: ABOUT CITIESSSS.
Endo has a truck load of technology that's been kept from the rest of the world for a few reasons. The main one is the fact that there have been some severe acts of corporate espionage going on within the regions, where several unaligned mercenaries have been stealing tech and selling it on the black market.

Endo is also split into three districts, each with it's own theme.
The innermost area, known as the obelisk holds the city's tower and also carries most of the city's sky scrapers.
This is the corporate district, where the city's guild is located, among the plethora of other weapons tech, electronics and other high brow business buildings are found.
The majority of aligned mercenaries are either, not organic at all, as in androids, or have chips in their brains that enhance certain traits and allow them to store all sorts of data and sabotage other electronics. (Depending on the model) Some can also track people and have enhanced strength and agility.
Basically like the demonic injections that the Armarus guild gives to it's mercenaries. Only Armarus doesn't have it be mandatory.

Endo is also the city where Sky was born, contrary to popular belief. She's the daughter of a big corporate giant, but she doesn't really like to talk about that to much for whatever reason. She's surprisingly not nearly as snarky as most of the people in the city.
HELL. Maybe I'll even do a little episode on Sky's childhood?

Oh, and Heirou was born here too, along with Sylvia, the Vanguardier Wade, Kira and Surina.

Salem personally hates the city, primarily because Endo also has a Vanguard district, only they operate automatons, and or are just cyborgs, and or are just androids entirely.

The middle ring of the city is the residential district, basically where everyone lives. Most of the city's hightech highways go through here, making it rare to see a park, or even a star in the sky for that matter. Half of this district also holds the slums of the city, whereas Armarus only has one hobo, Endo has a whole messload of 'em. It's pretty hard to succeed without being part robot, or having intense skills in machinery.

The outer ring is the transport district, along with the Vanguard's base.
Due to there being many attacks on the city, the Vanguard performs border patrol here. Not much to it, besides the fact that people are moved in and out of the city here.

The people here really don't do much without some sort of technology.
Also, the postal corps is trained here, which also utilizes chips in their members.
Which sort of means that if she wasn't so nonviolent, then Sylvia could be a decent gunman.
Or not.
Probably not.

Oh, and this also explains where Heirou's bullet redirecting skill comes from.
He's got a CHIP in his BRAIN.
Maybe.
Not proven.

Fun fact:
The Mercenaries really should be wearing masks of some sort on their missions, considering that it's not uncommon for a Mercenary to be killed at home, while off guard, for the purpose of revenge.

Before, they could've gotten away with it, since the Assassins corps which was a secret division of assassins that cleaned up after mercenaries, was around, but now that they're not, they should really wear some sort of identity protection.
Heaven knows the Guild won't do that.

Yeah, what is stopping people from killing them off while they're at home? Aleta has bodyguards because she's somehow pretty valuable (still working on that, but I have some very good ideas for why that is... and I'm not telling you yet.), but what about everybody else? Maybe it's because they all live with someone to protect them? But what if they're alone?

I sense that the Guild is evil-aligned (... unless... we're the Guild. xD ). I see plot and antagonist potential for that. We could play with the Guild some more. ninja That would be fun.

On another topic...

Since I am trying to make Aleta's PTSD more realistic and believable, I have decided to create flashback triggers for her that make sense. One of those triggers is large amounts of blood on the floor, and blood on her feet, because that would be strong link to her mother's death and seeing her body. Another could be getting cut or something... something less dumb. I need to do more research, though.

But, her PTSD could remain mild and restrained to having nightmares and sleep problems. I think that might be better for the RP and stop her from stealing any spotlights from other characters. What do you think? Keep her as is or escalate her condition?

Fun fact: While most of my protagonist mercenaries don't really have outstanding background stories, since I believe that more of the character's relevancy should be in the present and not the past, the Crimson and various other enemy groups have much more interesting background stories.
And believe it or not, even C.H.A.S.E, with him being an android and everything, has quite the story to be told.

FUN-FUN-FUN FACT:

The Gunmetals have had a couple of run ins with this creepy little girl named Julia.
She's always accompanied by this puppet man with strings linking from every joint named Kaine. That's Kaine with an E.
And being creepy and all, her main ability is to turn people into little toy dolls, where she then plays with them in her little toy house.
Needless to say, she's done this to a couple of the gunmetals in the past. And while she's not affiliated with The Crimsons, she is very much a threat.

Didn't you mention her way back in the original RP, or am I confusing it with that thing and Kagura and those dolls? P:

Also, I can't believe that thing is nearly 3 freakin years old... it will be in October.

I think I said something about her way back. MAYBE.
But Kagura's dolls weren't too different. At one point, I was considering having her be driven off the deepend and basically become Julia, since your characters don't know her.

Fun fact:

On Raphiel's mother's side of the family, there is a lot more racial mixing due to the fact they were more likely to communicate with surface dwellers. They're also less violent and have no slavery as a part of their culture. They're from this side of the sea, and the entrance to their cave is in an oasis in the desert. They live in the old lava tubes of some old volcano.

o.o That is scary. I think Kagura was/is crazy enough, she had to retain her cuteness.

Heh, you know the some of the themes we touch on the most are insanity and revenge, right? It's like freakin Hamlet up in here. xD But, there are huge differences in execution and presentation though.

Funfact: At the start of the RP, the Vanguard were quite the top dogs in Armarus.
However, over time and missions, the public eye shifted to that of the Mercenaries.
Which put both the Vanguard and guild into a place of stress.

People aren't trusting the army, and more news about Missions and the like have been getting out to the public from the guild.
So that means the amount of more... sketchy missions with high risk and high rewards weren't becoming quite as frequent, due to the guild wanting to keep everything honkey-dory with the Vanguard.

And my brain is fried.
