Christof slumped into the snow, shivering and feeling numb, which was an improvement on actually feeling the horrific sensation of losing a limb- or two now. Damn! Hopefully he had just enough of Lizzy's thread left to tack it into place, but that involved getting up to find the damn thing. And getting up involved pushing the dead elf carcass off of his chest. His mouth twisted into a stitched scowl as he glared upside down at the little present sitting just above his head. He'd.... get it in a minute. Hopefully one of those stupid deer floating around wouldn't eat his leg either... wherever that was.

At 5HP, Christof was fairly content to lay very still for a while until the world decided it was done spinning, or someone helpful showed up go help roll the corpse off of him.

Aksaja made it to the side of the building and then stopped there to rest a bit, turning to put his back to the wall. He sat like that for several moments, eyes half-lidded and jaw clenched in pain. Then motion caught his attention and he looked over to see two of the ones from his car... oh ... one of them had bells, he remembered. But she was currently shifted into her animal form.

How... to get her over here? Oh wait, the deer-pieces! "Hey, puppy! Here puppy... here ghoul!" he called, feeling a bit ridiculous calling to another student like this. But really, he had ... no idea how much of her intelligence might remain in that form. So it made sense? Kind of? "Want some deer? Cmon just ring one of those bells y'got and you can have some..."

Astra had eaten her fill of the sweet gingerbread house, not minding the taste of the stuff at all, which some students might find odd. But hey, most of the students where to busy fighting the Christmas town denizens to mind what she was doing.

She looked around at all the fighting now with some concern. A lot of the students were getting beaten up very badly, and she was unable to assist. Perhaps she should of brought a bell with her instead, but the wreath had proven to be valuable in it's own way...

She now noticed the tabby cat had moved on, and not seeing anyone else she knew well (save for the large dog man and the two women that were near them, but she wasn't sure she wanted to be messing with that...) Astra decided she would follow the cat. It would be nice to be around something that wasn't 20 times bigger then her.

"Wait up kitty!" she called out as she flew after it, but then paused in her pursuit. One of the students..the patchwork one had collapsed in the snow, the elf being still on top of him. She follow the kitty in a minute...but for now, she couldn't leave the student like that, even if she had no bells. She flew speedily towards Christof, stopping to hover just above him and to grab one of it's arms and try to pull it off him. Thankfully, the elf wasn't much bigger then her.

(edit BD; HE'S LYING IN THE SNOWS SOMETHING HAD TO BE DONEE)

Shehk's ears perked up when someone started puppy-calling, turning her head to screech to a halt when the scent of good ol' red meat caught her nose. Was it a trap? Sadly, her nose was winning out as she walked over, sniffing at the food left riiighhhttt out of reach from her. While Shehk's intelligence was still in tact, it wasn't hard for one to discover what it was that motivated her.

If Shehk hadn't been above it, she would have probably begged for scraps.

Bribery worked much better.... and all she had to do was ring her bell? She hadn't even heard what those things sounded like anyways, so it couldn't be that bad, right? Shehk held onto the bell with her teeth and shook her head back and forth.....

It was a lovely noise, actually, if she said so herself.

Shehk has used her bell to heal Aksaja for 11 HP. She has 4 more uses remaining on her bell.

Nuk snickered in Sammy's direction, clearly entertained by the sight of the Zombie with a pile of snow on her head. The look on her face was priceless, and he kicked up an extra spray of snow, just to tease her. They needed SOMETHING to keep them entertained, and if he could get Sammy to come after him at the price of her being a liiiiittle annoyed at him, well that was just the price he'd have to pay! It was a sacrifice for the greater good of not dying of boredom. Besides, she couldn't be mad at him, could she? He was the surrogate father of her unborn pumpkinchild!

Nuk was so distracted teasing the zombie that he didn't notice as Shehk came bounding towards him, only alerted to her presence when he felt a thud against his side, his body rocking just a little bit. Blinking, he turned his head to stare at her, finally realizing what she was trying to do and gave her a doggy grin, dramatically falling over in the snow as if she had toppled him over. Good girl Shehk, you knocked over the nasty Nuk! His black eyes followed her as she raced away, wincing a bit as she splashed him with snow, making a sound much like a barking laugh as she slipped and getting up just as she rushed back to his side, giving her an amused look as she raced off again.

Such as silly thing!

Turning his head back towards Sammy again, he gave her a questioning look as if to say 'you coming?' turning to walk back towards her and leaning down, offering her his back. If nothing else, at least they'd be able to catch up with Shehk this way... and if she made some snowballs, possibly doubleteam her!

Okay so was today 'mess with the zombie' seriously?! Between Shehk darting about and yapping in some kind of manner and Nuk knocking snow all over her she was going to go nuts. At least in a good way maybe, the kind of 'your friends are insane but you love them.' So with a sigh she shook all the snow off as Nuk made his way over, and did he? He was leaning down so she could climb on? Okay... it might be a trap! "You buck me off boy, and I'm putting you on full diaper duty with whatever comes out the pumpkin you hear?" Slowly she climbed on again securing her bag via christmas lights before leaning down to pat Nuk on the head. "Now go get Shehk boy! Pay back time for not sharing!" As Nuk moved towards Shehk Sammy would lean off his side dipping her hand in the snow.

"RIDE BYYYYYY!" As they pass she would flick her hand waving a wall of snow onto Shehk as they shot by grinning, "Ten points for the Zombie and Bear Dog!" Okay, this was fun. Waaay to fun.

Draven saw the look that Alerick gave him. Being a shifter himself, it was a bit easy to read, though Draven took a bit of a guess at the exact question being asked. "Well, I am having fun, and I imagine you are too. Though, I haven't had a battle myself," he looked around town, "there are tons of things running around, so who know. That could change."

He moved with his friends down the direction that Eracs had picked, the scarecrow and the werewolf seemed just as excited as Draven to see what was ant the end of the path. Suddenly, Eracs gave a jump and took off faster than Draven had yet to see him run. He must have seen something! Draven wondered what it could be. Were they nearing the end of their goal?

He wasn't sure, but he did have a bit of the path left to cover before he would find out.

Aksaja drew a sort of gasping breath as the healing power of that bell washed over him. Ah damn that felt good. Levering himself into a more upright position, the lightning dragon shivered slightly and reached out to pet the Pricolici on the head a bit. "Thanks. Eat all of that thing that you want," he muttered then, pushing back against the wall to bring himself back up to his feet.

Damn deer. Now... which door to go into..? Aksaja vaguely recalled seeing Maladore dart by him somewhere in there, so he decided on impulse to follow the plague doctor.

Shehk leaned into the head pat when it was offered, not really seeming offended for being treated like something similar to what she actually was. She was a canine. She thought with her belly and she barked. That was really all she needed. Besides, who wouldn't enjoy a good scratch behind the ears? However, she was now going to take advantage of her prize, eyeing the chunk of burning-rock that was nearby and sniffing at it. Hmmm. That smelled a touch too coo-

Piff!

Shehk shook her head as a snowball hit her in the side of the head, the Pricolici barking in protest before she buried her nose into the snow to sniff out more pieces of.... Aha! Raw meat! Oh, if the Pricolici's tail running at a mile a minute wasn't a sign of pure joy, nothing was as Shehk dug a leg out from under the edge of the rock it was buried under, turning to bark in Nukpana's direction again.

This time with a sort of excited anxiety.

I have something good, come here, come here! she seemed to say as she paced back and forth before she dug herself back into the noms she'd been paid with and peeled a good length of it's raw fleshiness off to chew on.

And hey, the meteor that was burning nearby was frying up a little more cooked stuff itself if that was their inclination.

IT WAS AN AMAZING BUFFET.

Lucien was looking around, his eyes spotting several students in all sorts of directions. He was still hanging off of Israfel's back, his arms around his neck as to help the siren keep hold of the air spirit. It seemed like the days were never ending, and the path led to no where. Lucien didn't know where they were going, and was relying on his feathered friend to guide the elf hat footed spirit to their destination. To Israfel he asked, "Do you think we're almost there?"

Christof shifted groggily as something small flit past, and started dragging the elf off of him. It wasn't that it was heavy, it was that the patchwork simply wasn't inspired to move. With someone there watching, though, he groaned, shifting to try to grope into his pockets with his clumsy remaining monstrous fingers. His right hand was a lot better at pocket-groping, but it was...indisposed at the moment. Finally, he managed to clench one of the pumpkin pills from his breast pocket, but stood staring at it for a moment. Wait. A pill. Other students had swallowed theirs but he.... had a problem. Eating was not a strong point of his. He was certainly not going to use it as a suppository. His severed scarf fell to hang over his shoulders, at least now somewhat helping to fight the cold.

Suddenly, he had an idea. But for it to work, he needed to collect his limbs. He could dimly make out the shape of Astra in the fog of his vision, but no, she was not a limb. With a pained grunt, he rolled onto his side, glancing around frantically for his arm and leg.

She didn't answer, that was alright. Like Livi, he didn't take it to heart and shrugged it off. It didn't seem to matter much anyway as the workshop came into view and the Crow was rendered nearly speechless. It was huge and so colorful; reds and greens, peppermint and gingerbread, and so many doors of all kinds of colors.

The demon's question wasn't lost on Corbin but it did take him a few moments to answer. He watched him motion toward the window as he had initially suggested but then he saw the gnomes positioned outside of each door. Had they secured the perimeter already? How in Jack's name did they get here ahead of everyone else? That in particular was a question that likely would not receive an answer in their life time, or unlife time as it were.

"If there was a green door, I'd suspect you'd wanna pick that?" he joked lightly with a faint grin, giving the doors a once over again. "In that case, I'm going to have to go with black." The black door, among its red, blue, pink and yellow companions, stuck out like a sore thumb. Nowhere in Christmas had he laid eyes on something so positively dark and out of place. Perhaps it was the slight homesickness he felt since the train crash that compelled him but he gave his wings a gentle flap and glided across the rest of the snow. His feet could use the rest of walking on a plain, flat surface as opposed to the crunchy and deceptive snowy terrain.

Something had caught the patchwork's attention, and Johan watched as Christof approached the beaked student from the Hinterlands until a familiar voice called his name. Turning, he saw the now familiar half-skull face of Amrita. His pale cheeks flushed slightly as he nodded to her, feeling a bit guilty for how he'd stormed off when he left the Festive Forest. She seemed cheerful enough, however.

"I've done vell enough." he replied. He wanted to say more, but he became aware of Christof attempting to destroy one of the weird Christmas gnomes. The hunchback seemed completely unable to avoid losing limbs during these fights, and now lacked an arm to go with his leg. Johan was... rather reluctant to use his bells on the hunchback, though Christof certainly looked like he could use it.

[colorlsateblue]Giving a yup, his loot bag dropping from his mouth, he watched Eracs take off and pounced at the snow. Giving another yip his green eyes on Draven. Hopefully his friend would get into some fight, it was so much fun! Though he didn't like those horns, they were dangerous and not in a good kinda way. Grabbing his loot bag up, with his mouth, again he pressed his side to the other shifter.

Hopefully they were close, he was sure they were. But where were they to go...where did they need to get to? As important was just what they'd have to do when they got there, to the workshop.

Well, at least he was moving, which was a good sign. Otherwise she though he was going to get transported back to the start. As he groggily moved around more, Astra wondered what he was trying to do when she noticed that he wasn't...all there.... Aha! he was looking for his limbs!

She flew above him to get a good look around the area, deciding that she may as well help him get those back too. It wasn't long before she had spotted his arm, or what she hoped was it. Landing near it she began to drag the object closer to the hunchback

((I'll let Billi decide if astra has actually found the right item, XD))
